We saw quite a few people with the chicken and waffle plate. They were piled high with fried leeks and looked wonderful so that's what we ordered When ours came out it had a small piece of chicken, a nice looking waffle and no leeks. When we asked about that we were told they were out of leeks. That would have been nice to know when we ordered. While we were eating I counted 7 ordered of various things piled high with fried leeks. Feeling a tad irritated which will be reflected in the review and very small tip we leave. read more

Food is great and is great considering how busy. Arrive early. Energy is high. DJ. Lots of fun. Go with a group.

Just had breakfast here and 10/10 experience. We had the pleasure of having Terra as a server. Not only did she serve us. But she served a positive experience, served a great ambiance and overall SERVED! Would come again just for Terra! read more

Everything about this place from the atmosphere to the food and service was incredible. We felt as though we were mistaken for someone else based on how well we were treated, especially by Dominic. It was a slower Monday morning so we couldn't see this place at full speed but I would definitely come back again. The pancake flavors we got (pineapple upside down and cannoli) hit the nail right on the head with the sweet kick we were looking for. The only complaint would be that they don't advertise their portion sizes which are HUGE. We took so much food home but we're glad we did. read more

Too busy. Can't ever get a table unless you request it months before it seems like. Hard pass

Went to try this location for the first time and we're glad we did! Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent! Our server Dan was very attentive and explained everything since it was our first time eating there. I had the Build your own blood Mary and my boyfriend had the Mimosa flight. I love that there was a lot of options for the toppings for the Bloody Mary since I'm not a big fan of them in the first place. The flight mimosa was good and the portion was good as well. Love the pineapple mimosa the best! We had the herb fried chicken hash and the carnitas hash. Both were delicious and came in big portions that we had to ask for a to go box. Gino the manager also came and chatted with us for a bit which was nice since he made us feel welcome in the restaurant. The place is really cute as well! Definitely will come back again! read more

Food is gross and dry. The place is also loud. I had the fried chicken with poached eggs and leaks. The eggs were over cooked, there was no salsa, and tons of potatoes and fried leeks so it was just dry like sandpaper. Since it's a newer location it's busy and loud. Also had the vibe that they were trying to turn over tables quickly. Staff is friendly though. Lastly the coffee was gross also. I've had better food and coffee at a truck stop. Going home for Duncan donuts coffee. I had taken the leftover potatoes and leeks home but they're going in the garbage. I won't be back. Yuck read more

This is the most fun Brunch place I have ever been too! My girl friends and I really enjoyed the environment and DJ. The service is great and the manager even stops in to ask you're opinion I can't wait to come back for the build you're own Bloody Mary bar. The food is also amazing with so many different flavors, I really want to sink my teeth in to everything on the menu Super experience. read more

If you're looking for a fun brunch spot, this is definitely the place to go to. It's probably the most fun of the 5+ brunch areas I've been to in the Phoenix area. Setting: The moment you walk in, it feels slightly like a party. The music is great, there's an in-house DJ, and the decor is really fun. Be prepared for a bit of a wait. The several times I've been here, the average wait was only about 15-20min for less than 5 people. In that time, you can still head to the bar for some of their great drinks. And if you're lucky to grab a bar seat, you can just order there instead of waiting for a table. Drinks: The drinks are so creative! Let's start with the most popular: the bloody mary. You can choose from several different vodka infusions (I did the bacon-infused vodka), different salt rims (I chose bacon salt), and different starting toppers (I chose bacon...see a theme?). Next is the toppings bar for your bloody mary. I believe there are about 40 different toppings! It's humongous. All sorts of veggies, cheese, and meat options. They even had ravioli which I've never seen before. The rest of the drinks are great as well. They have really tasty flights (cereal drink flights anyone?) and also their simple bloody marys which come in little bags like a blood donation. They're named after the types of blood too which was funny (A, B, AB, O). Food: Pretty extensive list of both savory and sweet items. I've never had any of the sweet items since I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but the options look great. The first time I went, I had a scramble which was just ok. But the next few times I had their other options which redeemed themselves. The best was the Hash Poutine...to die for. read more

My mom and I went out for a very early breakfast around the 8 o'clock hour. We had my dog with and made sure to call in advance for the appropriate accommodations. We were told we could sit outside and use the heaters. When we arrived none of the heaters were working out of the 8+ they had on the patio. Hannah the manager came out with an attitude trying to get them started for us. Eventually she got one to turn on. My mom and I had to sit close to feel the warmth since it was 39 degrees out in the shade. The burrito we split was pretty good though. read more

We both ordered the overnight oats and they were fabulous. Server was polite and friendly. This place is loud. Like really loud. Lots and lots of young people (how do all these young folks afford this??) I want to go back to try out that amazing looking Bloody Mary bar - I just wasn't feeling like it this time. I think a midweek visit might be quieter and more to my liking but all the food walking by looked great. read more

I just want to say how disappointed I am with my recent visit and wish I can give them NO STARS!! Our estimate wait time was 40 minutes we were finally seated after 1 hr 20min. As soon as we sat down the server took our order, and later brought our food. As soon as he brought our food, he asked if he could cash us out because his shift was over. We had no server to take his place. We attempted to ask a lady that looked like the manager for refills and things like the ranch and ketchup, but she just kept ignoring us Every time we said excuse me. We had to ask an older man, whose only job was to clean the tables for drink refills, ketchup, and ranch. When I finally got the ladies attention, I asked for a few boxes for our leftover food, she never brought them. I had to get up and ask the hostess to give me some instead. Ive been to this place a few times and have never had an experience like this one before. We were celebrating my husband's birthday but in return it just ruined hes day. I hope no one ever has our same experience! read more

If you are charging these crazy prices for the DJ um, don't. Get a decent party channel on Spotify or Pandora and turn it down about 10 to 15 decibels. In my humble opinion the music should be background to your conversation. It's so loud your conversation cannot even be background noise. How about some AC? Why is the garage door at the Bloody Mary bar open when it is 107 outside. Of course the air conditioner is going to fail. Hey manager dude from back East somewhere get a clue, AC works best when windows and doors are closed. The place was more than uncomfortably hot and full of flies. Or do you have the garage door open to hurt my ears a little less and dissipate the sound in there a little? I go to concerts once a month so I am no stranger to loud noise, but I also do not go to the bathroom in my kitchen. Do you understand what I am saying? There's a time and a place for everything. I will gladly pay the money if the food is good. Nope. The chicken and waffles were the only reason I wasted 40 minutes of my life to be seated. All the syrup was on the barely-bigger than-2-chicken-nuggets piece of chicken jerky which was still super dry and hard to eat. I did not mind the leeks as they were actually tasty. A trashy truck stop waffle house would have got the job done better for half the price. Those in my party got the Chicken sandwich with the same terrible chicken and the cannoli pancakes. The pancakes were ok, a little dry as well. I frequent hipster chic joints that overcharge for food, but usually the food makes up for it. Sorry for the run on sentences but this ruined my morning. The taco joint next door salvaged it a bit for just $8 and they had AC. read more

Believe the hype because it's all good!! I arrived around noon and instantly got nervous when I saw a crowd of people outside. Walked in and the hostess found us a table fast. The music was really loud for my old ass boyfriend but after a while he was grooving to the beat. I ordered the Avocado toast and it was delicious and the food arrived fast but not very hot. Nevertheless, we are going back again. read more

The number one thing that would improve the experience here is to just take the volume of the music down a bit. It's good music, but you literally have to shout to have a conversation at your table. The drinks were great. My friends had mimosas & I am amazing coffee drink with Tuaca. They have a great selection of drink choices. I completely forgot the name of my drink. I had the chilaquiles, & they were really good. I had some of my friend's ricotta lemon pancakes too. They were also pretty delicious. The only thing I would change about the food is some of the portion sizes. They are huge. No one at my table was able to finish all their food. I will definitely be back, just hoping the music is a slightly lower volume, & I'll split a meal with a friend next time. read more

Love the food, but the service is terrible. Rude staff act annoyed when you call, and the take out ordering app rarely notifies you when your food is ready, so your food is often cold when you decide to just go over and see if it's ready. Our last order only contained 2 of the 3 things we ordered, with some other random dish added to the bag. And since you pay ahead of time and the staff is not helpful, it's next to impossible to get a refund or anything. read more

Whoever decided it was a good idea to have a DJ at a breakfast establishment? This place was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation. I have a dB meter and the restaurant registered 72.6 dB. That is like sitting on the freeway in heavy traffic having breakfast. The Chicken and Waffles were decent, although the addition of the excessive amount of leeks distracted from it. The white toast (they do not offer sourdough) was served dry. Not a very good bread offering, only white and wheat. Now let's discuss the Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary Bar $13 BYOBM XXL Upgrade $21 Vodka Upcharge $4 That's $38 dollars for a rather large Bloody Mary that is made with cheap mix. Total Bill $58.64 and that only included $16.00 in Food. Overall, I would not give this place a very high rating, it just tries waaaayyy to hard to be cool. #kickitdownanotch read more

My friend and I went here for brunch today. We got there about noon and it was packed, but for 2 people the wait was only 30 minutes and it took about 25 minutes for us to get a seat. We did have to sit at the outside bar, but the shade and fans made it really comfortable. We each did the Bloody Mary bar, but that was a hard choice because they had a bunch of really nice looking brunch cocktails. I had the breakfast burrito and he got the chilaquiles. Both were super yummy but the burrito was massive. Like 1.5x a Chipotle burrito. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is the waitress/bartender ignored us quite a bit. I understand when someone is busy, but she stood in front of us at the computer for extended periods of time not doing anything. We watched her help people and make their drinks who sat down after us and she hadn't even gotten us water. Long and short, totally going back, plan to have a different server. read more

Such a great spot!! Came here for brunch around 10 on a Tuesday with my mom. Such a great set up! We weren't drinking today but the mimosas and bloody bar looked amazing. Also they had fun mix drinks in flamingos!! So cutie!! Great service and food! We had a carnitas hash which was HUGE and had juicy pork with crispy onions and a create your own scrambler. This is the second time I have been to Hash Kitchen. It's amazing! This visit we were served by Christopher, who was very attentive and helped me decide what to try. He checked on us several times and we never had to ask for refills. I had the chicken and waffles with fried leeks. It was beyond delicious and tasty. My wife had the breakfast burrito with braised pork that was great. My daughter had the lucky charms french toast. It was so light and fluffy and didn't even need the syrup. The decore is very inviting and the music is like my personal play list. I love the DJ being there on weekends also. My in laws will be in town soon and we will definitely take them here. read more

In homage to EW&F - Share the Spice of Life! Wowsa, fun, hep, and lively! Has a fun vibe, and tasty cocktails! The bacon is on point. Fun space, great food, and super service from Patricia, just enough attention, and great follow-up. The cannoli donuts are scrumptious, the Mimosa cocktail flight is buzzy, make sure to add the Cotton Candy. The Tamales are melt in your mouth good, and the Avocado toast is massive, " it yakes two... " - Bring your fun vibe, appetite, and just go with the flow... Good times, indeed! read more

Brunch here is such a fantastic experience! I flew in from NYC, and the first place I decided to check out was Hash Kitchen based on a locals recommendation. I am a food snob and I must say, this will be a staple for me whenever I visit again. If you're looking for a fun young crowd to brunch and be happy with(drink), this is the spot to go! They serve large portioned delicious brunch food and obviously their Bloody Mary is a meal in and of itself. I recommend you build your own, I mean it's what they're known for after all! Gosh Myles, you really are a 5-star manager, thanks for having me! read more

I'm afraid to say I was a little bit underwhelmed with this place. It is located right on a very busy road and so the outdoor seating is cramped, and not very peaceful because of the road noise. They also blast music, so that made it even harder to converse with both my dining partner and the waiter that helped us. The food was ok, the drinks we re the highlight, I really love the novelty of the big food and over-the-top drinks, but again, this place is for people who like that party atmosphere- even at 9A.M. for breakfast. I might give this place a try at another location, but the outdoor seating was just not ideal at this location. read more

I have only heard great things about Hash Kitchen in other locations, so to find that this opened up next to me in Phoenix can only mean I'm spending my Saturday morning there for brunch! Not that this is their fault, but right off the bat I knew there was going to be a wait as the parking lot was completely full; this was followed by my seeing the people standing outside the restaurant in the blistering Arizona heat. It's at this point that I knew cooling off with their Bloody Mary was the way to go. Drinks FTW! Yes, there was a 45 minute wait, but I expected that considering the other locations had great reviews and this one just opened. I didn't mind as we got to build our own Bloody Mary while waiting and stood outside in the shade right at the bar. I didn't mind the wait at all actually and that's a first for me. I would recommend having a trash can out there so people can dump the sticks without laying it all over the bar. Let's get to the average stuff before raving about my favorite part of the whole experience. Average: I am an eggs Benedict girl through and though but their Herb Fried Chicken Benedict fell flat. I'm not sure what it was, but it could be a combination and lack of hollandaise sauce, over cooked eggs, and the heavy carb that was the bread underneath that soaked up all the egg goodness before drying out. I wasn't a fan and you had to do two shakes of salt onto the food to get it to be palatable. I was disappointed to say the least. But the fried leeks were great! One friend said her regular Benedict was good, and the other had the full stack of S'more pancakes which looked amazing. She definitely couldn't finish it and took the rest home. Another average thing I have to mention is the music. The playlist and the DJ was good but it was definitely WAY too loud. You already have an overcrowded restaurant with people trying to yell over each other. I get you're going for the more modern, hip brunch spot but your main audience from what I saw today were people who looked like they were well past the undergraduate college party phase and wouldn't mind being able to hear the other person next to them talk while enjoying mimosa flights and disco ball looking cocktails. Bring down the music and you'll be golden. Why I kept this rating to a 4 instead of a 3 is because of the Bloody Mary bar. I'm never a fan of these, but I was today. Not sure what sort of concoction was in that drink but Jesus. It was flavorful without the overpowering tomato and it wasn't water downed. I love being able to build my own-their selection was extensive to multiple flavored olives, pickled egg, bacon, ravioli (which were my favorite), meatballs, cubes of cheese, artichokes, pickled onions, chorizo, and far more than I can remember. I also have to note that the pricing for the dishes is VERY fair compared to other brunch places. The portions are MASSIVE - I think a little too much but hey, that's probably what they're going for. I'll definitely be coming back to build another Bloody Mary and maybe try their Capri Sun drink while trying a different food item! read more

Long Story Short: AMAZING SERVICE. AMAZING COCKTAILS. AMAZING FOOD!!!! We just landed at PHX and searched for a breakfast/brunch spot. We found Hash Kitchen and we were NOT disappointed. How can you go wrong with a selection of 4 different mimosas?? For my meal, I had the Thick Cut Bacon Scrambler. It was cooked to perfection! During our meal, the manager DOMENIC visited with us.
