Service was excellent, food was ok, a bit unusual with tons of fried leeks on the chicken and waffles and some very strange hash browns, but the biggest problem was the extremely loud music, even approaching a damaging decibel level that made it impossible to talk or enjoy the food. Unlike every other place we have been, they refused to turn the music down. So we ate outside, where the music was softer, mercifully, despite the loud automobile noise on Indian School which could have been modified with a screen of some sort to reduce car noise and fumes. The waitlist system is unclear and a waste of time as you cannot pick a time when you plan to come, so not really a reservation system. Will not be back. read more

First time here. We were on our way back to California and decided to stop here from breakfast. We went early Sunday morning and the place was pretty empty which was nice. I'm assuming it gets full their later in the day since they had set up valet parking before we left. I order the chilaquiles verdes. The tortillas were crunchy, the sauce wasn't spicy and it was so good. The sauce was a lemony which was good at the beginning then it was an overload towards the end. But overall good. I think I like the huevos rancheros better. It was flavorful and the beef was soft. So good! Definitely recommend trying this place out! read more

I like this place a lot! It's your typical brunch spot - good for a date, family time, or hanging out with friends! It has a fun modern vibe to it and the food is so good! Drinks are all super cool and pretty to look at too! They usually have a dj for brunch and there is a huge diy Bloody Mary bar if you're in to that, you can pick all your own toppings for it. 4.5 stars! I'd come back to try something else on the menu. read more

Hash Kitchen Arcadia - Birria hash or something like that. So good! Drinks were part of mimosa flight - pineapple and orange pictured - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

The food is always yummy, the ambiente is fun and the staff is very friendly, going above a beyond. Thx Shane.

I was excited to try this place because of the reviews but If you are here for the food and bring your family do not expect too much from this place. The food looks pretty but is tasteless (I tried the bot-cho bene) Water definitely is tap, so to remove the taste, it encourages you to buy a drink which I did. (I got the Mimosa flight) They definitively strong if you want to get drunk. Waiter was not too good and he brought our food first instead of the mimosas,( had to request them again) read more

Lives up to the hype. The bloody May bar was the best I've ever seen and can make a meal in itself! Most of the the food was just okay, açaí was unexpectedly good though. The hash was disappointing considering that's the name of the place. Hash was not seasoned well, the dishes paired with it were better. The wait staff was awesome and made up for some of the food shortcomings. Also the music is on the loud side so depending on what you're looking for might be good or bad. read more

Amazing food! A tad pricy but the portions are large and the money is worth it. They are very flexible if you want to substitute items. Put yourself on the yelp waitlist before you go as they are very popular and often have a 30-45 min wait. read more

Note to self: We have been to three branches of Hash Kitchens. This one you must prepare to sit in high chairs especially if you're going to sit at the outside patio. I came with great expectations. Hash did not disappoint. We had Kayla as our server. She checked in with us frequently. Things we ordered and loved: 1) The short rib hash--this thing is a giant 2) The smoked salmon Eggs Benedict--the perfect poached eggs, seriously 3) The XL Build Your Own Bloody Mary (because of Covid-19 precautions, they brought out 32 ounce Bloody Mary with a tray of pickled stuff. Already set up on the cocktail were a couple of huge meatballs and bacon strips (I gave them to hubby). Clearly an upscale breakfast place and yet ambiance is casual. Music is current, comfortably loud. Hash Kitchen is one of our favorite breakfast/brunch places. Will be back soon! read more

First of all, who told someone they could make this GIGANTIC all you can eat lookin Bloody Mary Bar?!?! That was the first thing we noticed when we walked in, Amazing. Music was poppin with a LIVE DJ on a Friday during lunch hours! That was such a vibe. Started off with the Mimosa Flight and it was quite a buzz (literally). The Blackened Shrimp & Grits was delicious and flavorful all around. Short Rib Benedict was super yummy as well and came with huge portions. TEXAS sized portions. I knew we ordered too much, but once the Smores Pancake (1/2) order came out I knew I was going to have to force eat because it looked so good. That is a MUST get here at Hash Kitchen. Even the 1/2 order was so much and it only came with 2 stacks. Atmosphere - 10/10 Great modern decor and socially distanced tables Restrooms-10/10 very clean Parking-Plenty of parking spaces in the plaza Would deff come again! read more

I truly wanted to like this place. Luckily the wait wasn't terrible on a Saturday, and I'm glad I went. Had the mimosa flight as well as the corned beef hash. Realistically the corned beef was not so great and it was more ground than hashed. Frankly I didn't like it. It's my go to for breakfast and regretted it before I took my first bite. I'd love to give the place another shot and try something sweet rather than savory. read more

Spent the weekend in Phoenix for the NLCS and Hash Kitchen was our Friday brunch choice. We got there around 8:30 and sat at the outside part of the bar with no wait. This apparently was the perfect time because the restaurant was packed about 15-30 minutes later. Loved the vibe: great throwback r&b music and great atmosphere. Staff was super friendly and on point, and the food & drink were good. I especially enjoyed the peach mimosa and brunch cocktail. If I'm ever in Phoenix again, I'd definitely return! read more

It was a nice spot. I really liked the vibe, but my boyfriend preferred us sitting outside because it was a lot of people inside. The mimosa flight was cute. My chicken and waffles would have been good, but they loaded these unnecessary onion straws on top and it was wayyyyy to much! I would go back to try a burger next time I guess. read more

The food here is always good. The service is usually fast and consistent. The con is that the music is too loud.

Went to experience my last breakfast of 2020! The atmosphere was amazing. The food was delicious, the server was great, they played some good jams, and outside was warm with the heaters. I definitely will be back and highly recommend this place. read more

LOVED IT! K, where I'm from- we don't get cool places like this. We went on a Friday late morning after taking an Orangetheory class in Arcadia with Coach Semaj (if you haven't tried OTF I HIGHLY recommend it with Semaj) and holy smokes I loved every moment. Visually appealing with fun quotes related to rap/r&b on the walls. A live DJ playing great music (a little loud to have any type of quiet conversation so be advised) but it was such a vibe. I wanted to order everything on the menu and had the hardest time deciding. Our waitress was awesome- super friendly, helpful and just KIND! We got the thick cut bacon with gold leaf on it (shareable for sure). I got the "Karen" which is a yummy drink that comes in a glass pink flamingo (I bought one to take home cause flamingos are my jam) and I also got a mimosa flight and added on the cotton candy/glitter option (super yummy and fun). Everyone loved their food and the quotes/titles of the food and drinks on the menu. 10 out of 10 and will for sure recommend and return. Y'all got a Cali fan now! read more

Extremely loud--so much so that you can't even enjoy your food or the company you're with because the music is blasting. When you see people with their hands over their ears, it's a clear sign the volume needs to come down. The service and food was also just okay. I wouldn't come back here. read more

This is the breakfast spot on the Westside!! I always get the feeling like those Foodies in the Eastside have more spots to choose from, Hash Kitchen has brought the Breakfast Party to the Westside. Food Drinks and party atmosphere . It's gonna be a long wait on the weekend, waiting almost 90 mins to get a table; but it was worth the wait. It's a must try...but go with a group it makes the experience that much fun(ner), ha ha I had the Breakfast Burrito and a Bloody Mary (spicy). Too good!! Cereal Shooters!?!? Are all that!! read more

My friends & I were visiting from CA and stopped by this brunch spot on the way to Sedona. We were seated immediately and noticed that there was a live DJ (even at 9 in the morning). We noticed that they had a Bloody Mary station where you could add different ingredients to your drink -- get the bacon if you do order this drink. The food was pretty flavorful and their other drinks are good. There was one that had glitter on the outside which is suppose to enhance the flavor of your drink. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a chill brunch spot with nice vibes. read more

We enjoyed our visit while we were in town for a wedding but I don't know if we'd be in a rush to go back. My chilaquiles were just ok...chips and an egg and not really much else (no avocado? Sour cream? Anything??). The flavor was good but I couldn't help but feel like something was missing. My better half got the smoked salmon Benny and said it was "okay." We also split the cannoli donuts and those were AMAZING. Coffee was hot and strong. I liked that we got our own carafe and could do our own refills as needed. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive but what folks say about the DJ is true...it was loud and we left right as he was warming up. If you are hard of hearing we recommend going earlier in the morning before the party gets going. read more

bacon beignets - I think we got 2 different batches somehow since they were different colors. Neither were that great. The bacon flavor didn't pop so they were really just bland biscuits. Wouldn't order again. Hangover hash- had a lot of potential, didn't care for it. The jalapeño corn bread didn't have much jalapeño flavor and combined with the potatoes there was really too much starch. There didn't seem to be many veggies or cheese either which was disappointing. Pork was tasty but not tasty enough to carry the rest of it. Waitress mentioned they might be removing it from the menu, I understand why now. I'm also not a huge fan of onion rings, so I'll take some of the blame for that too. I was a little disappointed that I had 2 misses. I liked the sound of their menu, they do have a good variety and we would probably try them again. read more

Brunch at #hashkitchen made a weekend trip to Phoenix a total success. The carnitas hash is the way to go!!! And the cannoli donuts...delicious. Our server, Tara, was amazing! Despite being packed, with a 90+ min wait, Tara was kind, funny, and a such a pleasure. Have a mimosa while you wait! And Jason, the manager, stopped by too. He was great! (Came on 10/10/20) So I think I maybe didn't come here for the right reasons. This is a place to party....I'm not from AZ so I didn't realize that. The cocktails/mimosas are fun and the environment makes you want to party all day long. It's a young, vibrant atmosphere (great DJ) and I wish I hadn't been heading to the airport because it genuinely looked like a good time. Bring your friends and be prepared to have a blast! The food however is extremely mediocre, if not a tad disappointing. I got the classic eggs Benedict, which normally I use to judge a brunch spot...since that's usually a focal point. It was pretty flavorless, lukewarm, and it looked just kinda blah. It also only came with a bowl of small potatoes that were frozen before they cooked them. I saw photos before coming of the food and was super excited...I would temper your expectations. The service was pretty subpar as well. Our waitress was pretty prickly, difficult to get her attention, and she was very obviously ready for us to turn over our table. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, it was a jam packed place with a long wait...but still. Would I return here? Maybe for a birthday or an occasion to let loose with the fun drinks. I would not come back strictly for the food. read more

If you are over 30, if you like to have a conversation without YELLING over breakfast, if you like real food, well-prepared, that's not just hype, if you aren't all about social media and selfies - DON'T GO TO HASH KITCHEN.
