Hash is your classic instagramable brunch experience. DJ playing the best tunes. All the breakfast cocktails and build your own bloody mary bar. I also tried the cereal shots. They were interesting mostly because the cereal got a little soggy so gave it a weird texture. We had to wait 40ish minutes for a table for 6, even on a Friday, but we were able to drink while we waited. The food was all so good. Two girls in my party had food allergies and they were able to accommodate. I got the avocado toast and it was so good. I luckily split it with a friend because it was huge!! We were visiting from California, and it's safe to say that Hash Kitchen is better than a lot of the brunch spots we have back home! I'm assuming it gets full their later in the day since they had set up valet parking before we left. I order the chilaquiles verdes. The tortillas were crunchy, the sauce wasn't spicy and it was so good. The sauce was a lemony which was good at the beginning then it was an overload towards the end. But overall good. I came here for the first time today because I saw this place on TickTock and a lot of my friends have came here before. However, the experience was absolutely horrible. The food was so basic and gross. It was over priced, the tables were so small for two people, you can literally only fit two plates on it. Came here on a week end and boy was the waiting line long. Thankfully we put ourselves on the online waitlist so didn't have to wait that long to be seated once we got there. The inside I thought was pretty crowded and very loud with the music playing. So we sat outside which was perfect. Wayyyy more space between tables and felt more distanced. Ordered the avocado toast which was a pretty memorable brunch. Its definitely a shareable dish and was delicious. Bread, avocado, pork and bacon topped with crispy leeks. I love that the DJ sets the atmosphere on the weekends and I love the decor - the sayings on the wall. My fave location is the one at Gainey Ranch but I frequent the one in Arcadia because it is closer to me. I will say the biggest downfall is the parking & wait time. My favorite order is the shrimp & grits hash SOOOOO GOOD! I definitely lather it in hot sauce! I prefer the kiwi mimosa but sometimes will do a spiked coffee. Hash brings brunch to another level. This place is popping and can get extremely busy. On weekends they bring in a dj and things can get lively. They are known for their blood Mary bar and their drinks are amazing. However, if you're looking for a calmer experience, they offer that too, just ask to sit outside or away from the dj. I've been here on multiple occasions and have left stuffed and with a box each time. Their portions are quite large and the food is absolutely delicious. Best place ever. We had to wait for a little over an hour, but it was completely worth it! While we waited to be seated, I was able to build my own Bloody Mary! They had a great spread of toppings like spicy chorizo, meatballs, deep fried raviolis and spicy pineapple, just to name a few, but the list goes on!! Once we were seated, which was close to the kitchen, everything that came out looked so amazing! It was hard to decide what to eat because everything looked so good! I decided on the breakfast sliders- mini everything bagels with an over-medium egg, cheese and grilled ham, so yummy! The atmosphere was great! Loud music played by a live DJ and everyone there looked like they were having a great time! Our waitress was super awesome and the food was delicious! To end it all, a flight of slushies! You know that phrase - "If it's too loud, you're too old"? I guess that's me. This place is too loud. It is definitely geared toward a younger and hipper crowd, not a crowd with new hips. There was a live DJ inside blasting music, which made this an absolutely awful place to try and have a conversation. I recommend coming here with a group you have no intention of speaking to, and preferably without a hangover - otherwise the environment will not be your friend. We managed to get a seat outside which was a bit warm, but quiet enough to talk to each other. The food offerings were innovative, I'll give them that, but again seemed oriented toward the college aged crew. I tried the Hangover Shortrib Hash. The name alone is interesting to me based on the volume of the music inside. I can't imagine coming here in that condition. It came with a small piece of shortrib, which was just enough to whet your appetite and was served over a sweetish piece of bread, which offset the flavors involved. The Shrimp and Grits Hash also seemed to be somewhat odd regarding the flavors, being less flavorful or spicy than we are accustomed to. The cold brew coffee was good, but too small to enjoy for long. Just a word of warning, if you order the Effin' Huge English Muffin, they're not kidding. This thing comes out looking like two swollen dinner plates stuffed with ham, eggs, cheese and hollandaise sauce. It's enough for two people or two meals, whichever works best for you. My final words are in regards to dining outside here. The Phoenix area heat is a factor, but if you don't mind that, there's another strange thing. We would get the occasional wafts of odor reminiscent of a septic system overflowing. That, combined with the other items definitely adds up to an unpleasant experience. Be forewarned. read more

This place is POPPIN! Live DJ and good vibes! Checked in with the host for a party of 4, was told that it would be a 45 min wait. They manage their wait list through Yelp so you can keep track of your place in line in real time! When your table is ready, you will receive a notification from Yelp to check in with the hostess. We were seated in the outside patio area which would be great if it wasn't 100+ degrees outside. I'm from out of town and was unaware of their patio area. They eventually turned their misters on which helped to cool off. I wish the hostess would've given us options or at least mention this when putting my name on the waitlist. Note to management: Your hostess should always leave a good first impression, please train them to welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner and to provide guests with relevant info in regards to wait times and sections available. Moving on, Dominque on the other hand was incredible. He made sure that we were taken care of. Love him! After a long hike up Piestewa Peak, we needed to be reenergized. And Hash was the perfect solution, only 13 minutes from the base, this was the best decision . To start off we enjoyed their mimosa flight as well as their top notch Bloody Mary selection. For appetizers we had their Billionaire Bacon which had ACTUAL gold, yes gold on the bacon. Thick pieces of bacon with a taste so sweet and salty. There wasn't a better way to get our taste buds going. Next we had their Blue Corn Banana foster pancakes. The taste of the blue corn was honestly so different and offset the sweetness of the caramelized bananas and the candied pecans, they paired so well. For the main course we enjoyed the Hangover Short Rib hash, the Avocado Toast , Short Rib Benedict and the Huevos Rancheros Hash. And as you'll see from the photos these portions were massive! So if you're looking to share I suggest sharing a plate. Everything tasted phenomenal, you could really taste the fact that the short rib had been braised for 5 hours! The avocado toast and that bacon jam was delightful! And the Rancheros had that little bit of spice you need after a long hike. To finish off we had one of their Cereal Shooter Flight and their Cold Brew Cocktails, we chose the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup for the CB Cocktail and if you like Peanut butter as much as I do you will loveee this drink. It's definitely on the stronger side so be mindful of that. As for shooters, these sweet and yummy drinks bring you back to that morning as a kid where you couldn't wait to drink the milk from all the sugary cereals, but these were better! We came here on a visit to Scottsdale on Easter Sunday. Check in was easy through Yelp, we arrived and were seated within 10 minutes after checking in. The service was friendly and efficient bringing us water and drinks as soon as we sat down. The food was very good, every plate we ordered we enjoyed. We ordered the mimosa flight (comes with 4 mimosas each a different berry flavor, ratio was on point). For food we had the hangover short rib hash, corned beef hash, lemon ricotta pancakes, and Maso's breakfast potato tacos. All four dishes were superb. As for the environment, you can either sit inside or out (we sat outside- plenty of shade, if you have a dog they will give you a water bowl). Inside, they had a DJ, plenty of seating. Spent the weekend in Phoenix for the NLCS and Hash Kitchen was our Friday brunch choice. We got there around 8:30 and sat at the outside part of the bar with no wait. This apparently was the perfect time because the restaurant was packed about 15-30 minutes later. Loved the vibe: great throwback r&b music and great atmosphere. My friends & I were visiting from CA and stopped by this brunch spot on the way to Sedona. We were seated immediately and noticed that there was a live DJ (even at 9 in the morning). We noticed that they had a Bloody Mary station where you could add different ingredients to your drink -- get the bacon if you do order this drink. The food was pretty flavorful and their other drinks are good. There was one that had glitter on the outside which is suppose to enhance the flavor of your drink. We enjoyed our visit while we were in town for a wedding but I don't know if we'd be in a rush to go back. My chilaquiles were just ok...chips and an egg and not really much else (no avocado? Sour cream? Anything??). The flavor was good but I couldn't help but feel like something was missing. My better half got the smoked salmon Benny and said it was "okay." We also split the cannoli donuts and those were AMAZING. Coffee was hot and strong. I liked that we got our own carafe and could do our own refills as needed. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive but what folks say about the DJ is true...it was loud and we left right as he was warming up. We went on a Friday late morning after taking an Orangetheory class in Arcadia with Coach Semaj (if you haven't tried OTF I HIGHLY recommend it with Semaj) and holy smokes I loved every moment. Visually appealing with fun quotes related to rap/r&b on the walls. A live DJ playing great music (a little loud to have any type of quiet conversation so be advised) but it was such a vibe. I wanted to order everything on the menu and had the hardest time deciding. Our waitress was awesome- super friendly, helpful and just KIND! We got the thick cut bacon with gold leaf on it (shareable for sure). I got the "Karen" which is a yummy drink that comes in a glass pink flamingo (I bought one to take home cause flamingos are my jam) and I also got a mimosa flight and added on the cotton candy/glitter option (super yummy and fun).
