Terrible experience with the service and communication. Don't join the waitlist on Yelp. We did that and were informed to check in at a certain time. We arrive at that time just for them to tell us okay now you're in line you have a two hour wait. Waste of our time, and no one was willing to explain to us the point of having their Yelp reservation service turned on. Very disappointing. read more

Chickens without their heads on.... Very chaotic and unprofessional staff. A friend of mine had asked a simple question about one of the umbrellas outside and the staff member said 'I'm running like a chicken without my head on right now. Sorry, I can't help you.' If a staff member is complaining to a customer about how bad things are, management needs to get it together and make sure everything is running smoothly. Lots of miscommunication with the bar, servers, and hosts. I understand that times get busy and chaotic but that's not an excuse for staff members to lose their composure and professionalism. read more

We've love this place so so so so much! Anytime our 5 year old is at Grandmas we take advantage and come here for a grown up meal. The food is insanely good, the service is crazy good, and we almost always meet cool, fun people. Sydney is our absolute favorite bartender...she's the best! Like, really, truly amazing. We are foodie snobs and judge not just on food but also on service. Sydney is the real deal! She is going to school for nursing so we will for sure be sad when she leaves...until then we will sit at her counter as often as we can. Rachel is also an absolute sweetheart. She's a hostess and she is the friendliest chica ever! She saw me looking at her and came over to ask if I was OK. I told her I was admiring her ink. We ended up getting into a long convo that, honestly, I coulda talked to her forever. And Myles the manager is great. So friendly. It's kind of become our "Cheers" (totally dating myself). There's just nothing bad you can say about this place. And YES...it's worth the wait. It's always packed and for good reason. I try something different each time and have yet to be disappointed. Awesomeness! That is the best word to describe my first experience with Hash Kitchen and it's staff. My server, Baily, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Manager Dominic stopped by to say hello and chat (at a safe distance, of course). Excellently stocked 50+ ingredient bloody mary bar, and the bar tender walked me though the items and answered my questions (try the bacon vodka and chorizo garnish!). Menu had a ton of great options, and I went with Baily's recommendation of the shrimp amd grits with a side of bacon. Perfectly poached eggs, large shrimp, and the grits were creamy, but not runny. Bacon was thick, but not chewy. Could have used a bit more crisping, but still excellent! One plus they do that most places don't is they leave a small pot of coffee on the table, so if you guzzle down the first cup, you don't have to wait for a refill. Overall, one of the best breakfasts I have had in Phoenix. I'll definitely be back! read more
