Fast casual without any line for some quick lunch. No Vegas prices but you get what you pay for. I ordered the fish salmon sliders were on the dry side and needed more tartar sauce. Fries were just okay. I was just so hungry, I would've eaten anything. My husband had a Ruben which he thought it was between okay and good. soup was good which the chicken was the one item that made the soup so good other wise it would've tasted like canned soup. The chicken in the soup was flavorful. Gregg was super nice, friendly, and totally always checked on us. Overall, it was an okay experience.

The whole vibe at the J has totally changed from when it was The Sands and this was Mel's Cafe. This is now their "Coffee Shop". It has a bit of the retro feel to it and was a nice place for lunch with a friend. I ordered the BLTA with a side of fries. I just had water to drink but there were multiple offerings from boozy to soft drinks and other non-alcoholic choices. Our server was attentive and checked on us throughout. The meals took awhile to get to us (I think their kitchen probably covers more than just Hanna's Table) but it was worth the wait. My BLTA was just as I liked it - crisp bacon, large slices of tomato, creamy avocado and lettuce leaves. A perfect classic with a touch of hipster add-on. Would I drive out of my way to eat here? Probably not, but since it is about 2 blocks from home it would be worth a return visit,

The J Resort has been our go to spot as far as lodging goes when it comes to our Reno road trips. Its just a hop skip and jump away from the legacy casino's Hannah's table is one the options available as far as food goes at the J. The service is good, and the portions are sure to fill you up. We've never had a problem getting seated right away, and wait staff has always been friendly.

My mom husband and I walked here from our hotel in search of a decently priced breakfast spot. Hanna's Table was very cutely decorated with a nice friendly feel to it. The service was good nothing special, and the food was pretty good. I ordered a protein power bowl, my mom ordered chicken and waffles, and husband ordered a fried rice kimichi with egg.

What a wonderful experience! Cloey was absolutely amazing--on point with our order a few days in a row, sweet, funny, adorable, and incredibly patient. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and was always on point with everything we needed. Her positive personality and great sense of humor made our visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself was spotless, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was warm, inviting, and comfortable. It's clear that great customer service and attention to detail are priorities here. Thank you, Cloey, for making our visit so special. We will definitely be back and hope to see you again soon! You are a staple to Hanna's they are so lucky to have you !

Grabbed lunch with friends. Easy to get a table for lunch for four of us. Full bar and nice wine list. Some craft beers are available. Portions large enough for some of us to get leftovers. Just off the casino floor which allows smoking. You can't smell it towards the back of the room.

Best Monte Cristo sandwich in Reno! If you haven't had one it's a must try! Weird and delicious! Everything else is good here! Don't know why this place isn't packed?

I procrastinated reviewing this restaurant because I don't like leaving negative reviews but here goes. Pros: the restaurant is spacious and easily accommodate large parties. The menu has a variety of dishes and it was really delicious and well-prepared. The bus-persons and food runners were great: friendly and attentive. Cons: the cashier, our waitress and the manager lack initiative. Our server disappeared at the end of the meal; meanwhile, we had a starring contest with the cashier who I guess couldn't leave her station to drop off the check or ring us up, so we had to walk-up to the hostess to ask for the check, to which we were directed to the manager who then dropped off a copy of the receipt after about 20 minutes but didn't bother ringing it up. Instead, she strolled out to the casino floor with another woman and had a long, languid conversation. After about an hour, we flagged her back down and told her we were ready to pay the bill, she then directed us to the bar where the cashier was. So in summary: food was good, some of the service was good but overall service could use some improvement.

This is the diner at the J Casino where Mel's used to be. I have learned to prepare for a little wait so plan on about 15-30 before your food comes. Freshly made food, not fast food. My fave is the crispy topped salmon, cheesy farro, blistered tomatoes and asparagus one can eat to the stem meal. I love it. They have a featured lasagna special that came with a lot of meat sauce within the noodle layers. The cheesy bread sticks that came with it tasted freshly baked and was quite addicting. Kudos for the outstanding bread sticks! Friendly service and hostess. They have a bar area to eat at, too. They are on Open Table.

Tried this for the first time. Did not disappoint. We came in after 4. Was not too busy. Out waitress was very helpful in our choices. I really enjoyed a dining experience where you could have a decent conversation without yelling. Very relaxing vibe. The food was an easy 8 out of 10. The dessert was a 10 out of 10 Will be back to try breakfast next time.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Says it was only his 2nd day on the job, but I wish he had been working for us at our restaurant (Hokkaido Noodle House) in Sacramento. He is a pro already, give him reasons to keep working for you boss. Don't worry, we won't steal him from you, we are retired and closed our joint 10 years ago. Rock on Archie's! You have earned a few new fans today.

Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

Our family of 8 arrived here to a line that only continued to build. The line exited the building and began to wrap alongside the building. Seating here is first come first serve and are only designated by staff. Saving tables and sitting down prior to placing an order is a big no-no. BUT!! That didn't stop others from doing this anyhow. Let me start off by saying how chaotic this place is. This began from the initial line up to order and continued throughout the meal. Staff seemed flustered, overwhelmed, and moody. I'm not sure if the vibe of our visit would be considered "normal" to the staff and regulars but from my perspective looking in, it just seemed uncomfortably unorganized. As a forewarning to those who have never visited this establishment before, do your research and try to decide on what you would like to order prior to reaching the register area. Being prepared assists in quicker lines and you avoid looks of annoyance overall. Our family ordered a bunch of stuff: *THE REGGIE- hold the cheese & gravy *BLUEBERRY CORNMEAL PANCAKE - single *CORNMEAL PANCAKE- single *BUILD YOUR OWN BISCUIT - bacon, sausage, egg *Side order of EGG *Side order of BACON x2 *CHICKEN FRIED STEAK PLATE w/ BISCUIT *HASH BROWN, 2EGGS, + BACON *THE MONEYBALL *BEIGNETS Food came out at all different times. It was just unfortunate how one child in particular's meal came out at the very end when everyone was pretty much done with eating. The female staffer who brought over the dishes dropped plates on the table before scurrying off. At first I thought it was just a random occurrence but when it consistently happened, there was no way to justify that kind of service. Food was doable. The whole hype over Pine State Biscuits was simply that- JUST HYPE. The dining experience overall and vibe of the eatery was just not my scene. Kudos to those who genuinely enjoy the establishment but I'm gonna have to pass. I wouldn't openly waste my time or calories here.

We really wanted to like all of the food items that we got, but it was not good at all. The only thing we really liked were the French fries and what seemed to be house made ranch. The appetizer we chose were the mozzarella sticks which were not great, the warm marinara was good though. So then I had high hopes for my lunch item, the chicken parmesan sandwich, and it couldn't have been more of a let down. Maybe it was the type of breading used to coat the chicken, but it was soggy and became a texture issue for me. My fiancée had the fish and chips, not the most horrible fish in the world, but definitely not the best, and not worth the price. And then lastly the "chocolate cake" which is more like a spongy brownie, will not be something i choose again.
