Eggs Benedict with smoked ham was delicious-poached eggs was cooked perfectly. Cobb salad with chicken large generous portion ...freshly chopped carrots avocado bacon romaine radish with sprinkle of corn kernels. Recommend paying an extra $3 to substitute thin English muffin with their signature thick flakey biscuits with chive butter to soak up the egg yolk. The peppery arugula side salad with sliced radish paired perfectly with the eggs Benedict .

Came here after a half-marathon with friends and had a pleasant experience. We were sat right away in a nicely decorated outdoor section. We split a flight of beer and two freshly squeezed lemonades which were DELICIOUS. It was the right balance between sweet and tart. The food was good, fresh and came out quickly. The grilled cheese and the bacon Mac n cheese were highlights. The portions are a little small, so I do recommend getting a side or ordering multiple things for the table to try and splitting amongst everyone. Would recommend visiting with family, friends or a partner. It's also quite reasonable!

Hamilton's reached out and apologized for our experience, and I really appreciate that. I was more upset about how rude the waitress was, than the mistake that was made. And they apologized for that. Food was good, I enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich and my youngest enjoyed the Cobb. Our waitress was rude. When my daughter ordered her drink the same as mine after my drink was served, she said "I wish I knew that." Then she put in for the reg French toast instead of the children's one I ordered for my child. The regular one had nuts. The children's one did not list nuts. They had the nerve to argue with me. They later apologized since I was correct. Then they told me I couldn't have the kids French toast cause brunch was over! Then they said the chef would do it, like they were doing me the favor. Ummmm we ordered before brunch was over. They made the mistake! And they were not going to make the right order??? Then they ignored us for 30 minutes.

We went into this neighborhood restaurant Hamiltons while visiting some old friends. It was a perfect place to meet while still obliging all the rules of COVID-19. Social distancing was taking place and everyone was wearing a mask. My meal was was delish an artichoke salad complemented with delicious beans in a fantastic dressing of garlic and oil. Of course I had ice coffee which was bold and strong tasting. For dessert I had a yummy tasting flourless chocolate cake amazing flavor.....a party in my mouth lol.

Hamilton's is a true neighborhood joint that you can always depend on for a hearty meal. The interior is cozy and lived in (I mean this in a good way - some restaurants feel sterile and unrelatable, here you can be yourself). I've been here twice for brunch and have enjoyed both of my experiences. The first time I got the kale salad with chicken which was sooo delicious. Today I got huevos rancheros. It was great, but I think grating the cojita over the black beans would have made for better plating. Didn't hurt the taste though! My husband raved about the Ella Fitzgerald sandwich. You use a QR code to view the menu and to pay, but I'm pretty sure they take cash.

I've only been here once and my visit was pleasant. I happened to come across this place while strolling around the area. It was a nice day and decided to pop in for a quick drink. The Bees Knees piqued my interest so of course I had to try it. The drink was not overly sweet. It's shaken with ice and poured into a cute little glass. But don't worry it comes with extra. The music is chill and the staff is friendly. Great place.

From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless -- warm, incredibly attentive, and perfectly paced. The refreshments were so great for a celebration. The Cocktails: Expertly crafted and sophisticated. It was refreshing to have drinks that were perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The coffee was served alongside dessert, it was rich and the perfect finishing touch to a wonderful meal. While the Filet Mignon was a popular and well loved choice among our group, and the Meatballs were universally raved about for being truly excellent, the real showstopper for me was the Chicken Parmesan. I don't typically order steak, so I was delighted by this choice. The cutlet was impressively sized yet elegantly thin, showcasing the high quality of the chicken. It was served with a side of creamy mashed potatoes, which was such a comforting and delicious pairing. It did remind me of visiting Germany believe it or not like a schnitzel style cutlet but still very italian if that makes any sense. If you visit, you simply cannot miss the fried eggplant appetizer with burrata. It is divine! This dish alone would be the perfect excuse to drop by for a casual dinner date or a "girls' night out" centered around appetizers, wine, and to try a dessert. I would absolutely return!

The fried calamari could've been less oily, as this took away from the crunch; also slightly overcooked. Baked clams were decent. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Pizza was great! They reheated for us, since our group was too busy chatting. Desserts - phenomenal! Drinks- ehh. Brunch menu - French toast was decent. The salmon over hash brown , was lacking a touch of something , couldn't pinpoint what was lacking. Chicken and waffles, decent, wasn't the best I've had. Service- jonathan was our waiter during brunch and also our bartender. He's GREAT! During service dinner, we had a female waitress and I felt she lacked attention to details and couldn't flag her down when we wanted something. Overall, service is a hit or miss , I guess? From the moment we stepped through the doors, it was clear that Ren is leagues above any other restaurant we've visited. Calling Ren a restaurant feels almost like an understatement; it's a culinary journey. The menu is a testament to culinary artistry - each dish, from the appetizers through to the desserts, was a masterpiece. The flavors and textures were unique and memorable, with each bite cooked to absolute perfection. The service at Ren deserves its own accolade - it's a five-star experience in its own right. The waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive, enriching our evening with detailed descriptions of each dish. They didn't just serve food; they presented a story on a plate, explaining the intricate details of the ingredients, preparation, and the symphony of flavors to expect. The ambiance of Ren added to the magic of the evening. The decor was tasteful, the furniture and seating comfortable, creating an environment that was both elegant and inviting. It's clear that attention to detail is a priority here, and it shows in every aspect of the restaurant. In conclusion, dining at Ren isn't just a meal; it's an immersive experience that tantalizes all the senses. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, what you receive is far more than just food - it's an evening of unforgettable culinary exploration. I wholeheartedly recommend Ren Restaurant for anyone looking to elevate their dining experience to extraordinary heights.

Home is where the heart is and there is nothing quite like a home cooked meal. I have to say most Bay Ridgians enjoy dining local and in our neighborhood. I love to support neighborhood gems because majority of restaurant owners here, love their clients, establish loyalty through cooking delicious food and provide consistent great customer service. I was in the mood for a " comfort food"breakfast, you know, eggs, avocado, mozzarella, tomato, deliciousness and I found it on the menu simply named "Breakfast Sandwich". Which consists of voila: Mozzarella, avocado, tomato jam, arugula, crispy bacon, dijonaise, sunny side up egg between multigrain toasts. I ordered this sans the bacon ( requested turkey bacon which they do not have). What arrived in my plate was this decadent open faced egg sandwich that looked delectable.. and was!! Let's first talk about the wheat toast: I tasted it naked and it simply melted in my mouth. The ingredients worked well together, perfect synchronicity. I used one half of the toast to sop up any fallen ingredients. Highly recommend! For a drink, I wanted something a bit different, thus, ordered the Mango Mint Peach tea, fruity with a hint of mint. Loved it and went well with the Sammy! There are lovely options besides breakfast sandwiches like quinoa, oatmeal, granola, pancakes, French toast.. breakfast is served all day and lunch is served @noon. I arrived before 12 and was told I can order breakfast or lunch. It has a cozy, intimate vibe which I love.. one where you can dine solo, or do work or read or just enjoy the fabulous food. I will make "The Common" my home away from home. Additionally, there are cooking classes in their Park Slope location; the courses look great: Italian feast, Moroccan cooking, Wine Pairing and many more. Check out their website for more info.
