Eggs Benedict with smoked ham was delicious-poached eggs was cooked perfectly. Cobb salad with chicken large generous portion ...freshly chopped carrots avocado bacon romaine radish with sprinkle of corn kernels. Recommend paying an extra $3 to substitute thin English muffin with their signature thick flakey biscuits with chive butter to soak up the egg yolk. The peppery arugula side salad with sliced radish paired perfectly with the eggs Benedict .

Came here after a half-marathon with friends and had a pleasant experience. We were sat right away in a nicely decorated outdoor section. We split a flight of beer and two freshly squeezed lemonades which were DELICIOUS. It was the right balance between sweet and tart. The food was good, fresh and came out quickly. The grilled cheese and the bacon Mac n cheese were highlights. The portions are a little small, so I do recommend getting a side or ordering multiple things for the table to try and splitting amongst everyone. Would recommend visiting with family, friends or a partner. It's also quite reasonable!

Hamilton's reached out and apologized for our experience, and I really appreciate that. I was more upset about how rude the waitress was, than the mistake that was made. And they apologized for that. Food was good, I enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich and my youngest enjoyed the Cobb. Our waitress was rude. When my daughter ordered her drink the same as mine after my drink was served, she said "I wish I knew that." Then she put in for the reg French toast instead of the children's one I ordered for my child. The regular one had nuts. The children's one did not list nuts. They had the nerve to argue with me. They later apologized since I was correct. Then they told me I couldn't have the kids French toast cause brunch was over! Then they said the chef would do it, like they were doing me the favor. Ummmm we ordered before brunch was over. They made the mistake! And they were not going to make the right order??? Then they ignored us for 30 minutes.

We went into this neighborhood restaurant Hamiltons while visiting some old friends. It was a perfect place to meet while still obliging all the rules of COVID-19. Social distancing was taking place and everyone was wearing a mask. My meal was was delish an artichoke salad complemented with delicious beans in a fantastic dressing of garlic and oil. Of course I had ice coffee which was bold and strong tasting. For dessert I had a yummy tasting flourless chocolate cake amazing flavor.....a party in my mouth lol.

Hamilton's is a true neighborhood joint that you can always depend on for a hearty meal. The interior is cozy and lived in (I mean this in a good way - some restaurants feel sterile and unrelatable, here you can be yourself). I've been here twice for brunch and have enjoyed both of my experiences. The first time I got the kale salad with chicken which was sooo delicious. Today I got huevos rancheros. It was great, but I think grating the cojita over the black beans would have made for better plating. Didn't hurt the taste though! My husband raved about the Ella Fitzgerald sandwich. You use a QR code to view the menu and to pay, but I'm pretty sure they take cash.

I've only been here once and my visit was pleasant. I happened to come across this place while strolling around the area. It was a nice day and decided to pop in for a quick drink. The Bees Knees piqued my interest so of course I had to try it. The drink was not overly sweet. It's shaken with ice and poured into a cute little glass. But don't worry it comes with extra. The music is chill and the staff is friendly. Great place.

Place to grab wine and solid eats. It's easy to support this local business. We took my in-laws when they came to visit and they enjoyed.

It's a cute place, nothing fancy but a place you really can come hang out any day of the week. If I lived in the area I could see my myself ending up here any day of the week. I guess that's why when I went with fellow Yelper Sara L she said she has gone many times and wanted to take me since she knew I would enjoy it. The food: Gebackene Champignons- Fried Mushrooms- OK to preface they are kinda plain and boring the first few pieces. But the more I ate it the more I was like wow, these are actually good and kinda addictive. I enjoyed these and I enjoyed they gave a nice big portion. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=wXMnSOv4x6gNG-gHh3t40Q Potato Latkes- These were on the specials page and they were good, nice crunchy and fried well but these were mixed with something since the taste was a bit different and the color wasn't that nice golden brown color you associate with latkes. Goulash- This was a dish George had and honestly, they were amazing. Highly recommend. I thought the flavor but more importantly the texture was amazing. A lot of times when you have slow cooked beef, they could sometimes get stringy and chewy, no not here. Also the spätzle was a really great pairing. Mussels- These were some fat ass mussels. The flavor of them was good, the night I went they were spicyyyyyyy. This was a well made dish and i appreciate their creativeity but I do prefer a simple garlic shallot butter and white wine where I want to drink the broth afterwards. The broth on this was too spicy too drink. Roasted Boneless Pork Chop- Pork chops are always a gamble and the one here was just OK. The sauce it came in was nice, kind on the heavy side but a delcious cream sauce. The pork was cut super thin and unfortunely they came out dry and chewy. The fries were a nice shoestring fry which were nice and crunchy. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=14_-Katrn9Glu-wA65-CHg

Update - Today we ordered for delivery the brunch burger and challah French toast with berries. The star of the show was definitely the French toast. The salvaged wood interior and candlelit ambiance create this inviting space that feels both historic and lived-in. It's cozy enough for a relaxed family dinner but still feels special. We've worked our way through quite a bit of the menu over the years. The mushroom tagliatelle is rich and satisfying, the crispy chicken sandwich hits the spot, and the charred orange cauliflower couscous topped with smoked salmon is a real standout--beautifully balanced. The pan-fried okra and fried shrimp are great for sharing, and the rainbow beet salad adds a nice fresh note. I also appreciate how kid-friendly they are without dumbing anything down. My kids are happy with their chicken poppers and quesadilla while we enjoy the more adventurous stuff. The place is named after Jacques Cortelyou's famous 17th-century map of Manhattan, and somehow that history feels present without being gimmicky. It's just a really solid neighborhood spot that makes you appreciate Ditmas Park. Cortelyou Road has a lot to offer; The Castello Plan is a great option to grab a tasty bite while exploring the neighborhood. Extra point for a killer music selection the night we visited, featuring Foo Fighters, David Bowie, Queen, Dire Straits, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Simple Minds, Eric Clapton, and more! ------------------------------- [1] https://www.yelp.com/biz/ditmas-park-halloween-house-brooklyn
