Special hand and cheese on a croissant

Stopped here on my way to an event at the Long Beach Arena. I've seen this place many times before but never got a chance to drop by. Glad I did. The menu is simple, one for Breakfast and one for lunch. The interior was decently clean and exterior as well. No restrooms unfortunately, although I understand since there are many homeless in the area. Staff was friendly and professional. Really loved that everything was handmade as soon as you order, nothing was already pre-made. Even the orange juice is freshly squeezed. Definitely have to come back, I recommend this spot to anyone who is going towards the waterfront at Long Beach if you haven't had breakfast.

Food is delicious! The servings are very hearty and filling. Staff is always so kind and welcoming!

Bomb breakfast burritos. I don't love ham, so I do wish there was a meatless burrito (or a discount for not having meat in my burrito). Super friendly staff and quick service! They had some cute Christmas decorations up and you could help decorate their tree which was really nice. Love the water dispenser and to go cups for hot sauce.

I pass by this place offend when I am going to another place for breakfast on 4th & Grand. But today, I wanted to try somewhere new and a quick place to pick up a burrito. So I drove over to try this place out. I had their Breakfast burrito. The two people there who greeted me were super friendly. I believe this is a family owned business. Right/ I had their breakfast burrito. I like it. Big! more than I needed. But it was a good tasting burrito. Big chunks of ham, if you like ham. Not sure I tasted the bacon. I will be back to try another dish for sure.

Welcome!

What a solid place to get a breakfast burrito. I will say I'm so used to my BIG BREAKFAST BURRITOS but this one here.... It's still filling and has tons of flavor! I was next door doing laundry and decided to walk over and try this place out, I know it's been open for a while but to me it's new :) I was immediately greeted by Forest.... Like Forest Gump. Forest was a cool man and literally introduced himself that way lol I shortly glanced at the menu and made my selection on the double meat burrito, I asked forest if that's a good choice and he completely agreed and said I won't be disappointed. I'm just minutes I was walking out with a hot freshly made burrito with a couple of there salsas in a brown paper bag to go. I was totally impressed on the flavors of this breakfast burrito, it was a perfectly salted and full of meats...just how I like it. I will say the size seems to be smaller then other breakfast burritos I've had but once I was done I was full... so don't let the size fool you ;) I will be retuning to try something different off the menu. It's located in a plaza with tons of parking so no need to worry about that. Also there is NO seating so grab and go is ideal. If you're in the area I highly recommend you check them out. Enjoy! SYoY :)

I'm a breakfast burrito kind of person plain and simple. If I'm out and you ask me what I feel like having for breakfast 99% of the time I'll say breakfast burrito. Now Ham n Scram is a place I pass by somewhat often and always tell myself I'm going to give it a try. Well I finally did I was out with my partner and our pups and figure after our morning walk it's breakfast burrito time. I walked in trying to decide what to get but the Original breakfast burrito just made sense with everything it had in it. Its not the biggest burrito but it's a good tasting burrito. The price was a little eh. I think with tax it put me around $15 just for the burrito. The place is spotless very clean and well kept, menu has pretty much all the prices removed which I don't like. Just be upfront with your pricing regardless of the cost. There is no seating so it's a grab and go kind of place, parking is plentiful. Would I come back... Hmmm.. it was a good tasting burrito but for the price I can go elsewhere (not naming the competition because I don't think it's right too) and get a good breakfast burrito for half the price less than a couple miles away. I might be back just to support small businesses.

Stopped by here on Monday morning and it did not dissatisfied. The moment we walked in we were greeted by the two friendliest employees. We ordered two of the original breakfast burritos split in half. They ordered to wrap the halves separately, which was great. The burritos are jam packed and have the perfect ratio of eggs to meat and potatoes. The salsa complimented the burritos really well. This place was great!

Quality REAL food served in compostable packaging! Parking: lot shared with other businesses Service: fast, so sweet Ambiance: cute decor, very clean, spacious. Grab your food and SCRAM bc there's no seating Food: boyfriend loved his breakfast sandwich. I got the breakfast bowl (no cheese) and it was great. Salsa has the perfect kick. LOVE that they use compostable bowls, paper bags and compostable forks. Thank you for caring. Knowing that this is real, quality ingredients and they care for the environment makes them a FIVE STAR for me.

Huge fan of this spot, probably my favorite breakfast burrito in Long Beach. As good as the burrito is on its own, the salsa puts it on another level. I go with The Original Breakfast Burrito every visit and honestly I don't feel the need to go with another menu item because why mess with a good thing? And although you'll catch me here when I'm having a breakfast burrito craving, I often come here for their ham bones! I'm big on making legume-based soups and using ham bones take my soup to another level! My fur child is a big fan of the meat from these bones too. All the employees here, from the college kids to the owner himself are so nice and helpful and their service definitely solidifies this as a five-star review. This location is small and doesn't provide dine in seating, so definitely be prepared for a takeout order but there's a great park near by if you need a place to eat.

This is a very solid option for anyone who wants an American omelette or scramble on the go! Let me start with the service because I truly don't think I've ever gotten faster service anywhere other than a fast food restaurant! It probably only took 3-4 minutes for them to make my burrito! The young men were both very nice and friendly. The burrito itself was a good size, and definitely worth the $13 price! The ham itself is really really delicious, there's a reason it's in their name! Unfortunately the cheese didn't melt all the way, which would have taken this burrito up a notch. They also have shredded potatoes in there which are good, but could use more texture. I also didn't think the salsa it was served with really complemented the burrito, but they have other options you can choose from! Overall, I see why this is a really popular spot! I love that it's family owned and has great costumer service. I was eating on the go, so I didn't take note of there is any seating inside, but I don't think there is. If there is seating, it's very minimal.

Came here on a Saturday around 10:00am. One person in front of me. Service was quick. Space was clean. Got the original breakfast burrito. It was fairly big. Sauce on the side was good but not spicy. Ham inside is what made it stand out it was salty and cooked well. Overall, worth trying out.

We'd been here a couple of times before, but only for drinks. The interior is quaint, with pretty typical Francophilic touches (pics of Parisian landmarks, etc). I decided on the Fit crepe, which is a buckwheat crepe filled with spinach and feta. Delicious, but the crepe was a bit dry around the edges. The drip coffee I got was great, however, and the hubby enjoyed his Veggie hash. Friendly service from the two servers, but they seemed a bit stretched--maybe it was more crowded than usual due to the watch party?

Not a super huge fan of French cuisine; however, the menu looked good and mostly reasonable prices. Restaurant is super cute with indoor/outdoor seating. We started off with a bottle of cab (41.00, ouch)! It was noted as a different brand on their menu and they came with a bottle of Josh Cellars which isn't a bad table wine but about 3 times the price! We ended up ordering the fondue for the app (24.00) which comes with bite size pieces of bread and diced apples. It was ok, a little too runny and had an interesting hint of beer flavor. Next up we both ordered the brie & prosciutto sandwich which came with a side of au gratin and greens. The sandwich was excellent but the potatoes were cold. We ended our meal sharing creme brulee for dessert. It was good but also served cold. Total bill incl tip: 163.00 bucks (double ouch)! Overall, meal and service was good, but I would forego the wine on a future visit as it was way overpriced for the brand we got as well as the cheese fondue. Will definitely be back though. Very comfy and charming atmosphere.

This is the key place for girl dinner. We ordered the chicken pot pie appetizer, cauliflower bites, and pumpkin ravioli. All were delicious. Our server, Danny, was perfect. The staff is incredibly friendly - there was a server named Isabelle who was super bubbly and honestly made the night. Not listed, but I did have the Horchata cocktail and that was pretty good. I also had another drink, but I don't recall what the name was (that is the one that's pictured). I do think this one was better... as far as the food goes it's certainly OK. The price is just a little steep for what you are getting especially drink size/quality wise. Fortunately, when I have been twice this year, the line has been mostly nonexistent, but normally I've seen the line wrapped around the building and it can be a pretty hefty wait considering it's walk-ins only after 4:30 PM. Overall, I will be back, purely based off of the decor and the incredible service. I do think that the drinks and food portion need a little bit more love considering this is a location already exists and is not necessarily a "pop-up" and at the end of the day, it is advertised as a restaurant/cocktail bar and not just an "experience". Considering I'm a local I'm more likely to come back, but I do think that the restaurant does rely more so on the decor than it does the items it serves. I would give the food and drinks a 3/5 whereas the love & dedication in decor, and service really bumped it up to at least one more "star" for the overall review.

I never expected to find stellar cocktails and wings inside of a hotel, but you truly never know…read more Let's start with the cocktails; they are KILLING it. The menu has a ton of really detailed options, each drink with its own depth. The menu changes seasonally but what doesn't change is the smoked old fashioned - a must-order. They smoke your drink in a glass container using applewood chips; it's quite a show and it also does make the drink much more enjoyable. Ask the bartender and they can also help guide you to a drink - I've done it a couple of times and always pleasantly surprised. Next up, the food! The hummus was very flavorful and paired with an amazing fluffy pita bread. The truffle fries were solid but the plate was HUGE, definitely needs a friend to share. The Nashville wings are the star of the show. I cannot stress this enough, this is worth a DRIVE for. The seasoning really does remind you of Howlin' Rays (the highest compliment) and the chicken is extremely crispy yet insanely juicy. The pickles and ranch that it comes with pairs so well. Do note that they are tossing it in pork fat, which enhances the depth but also makes it a little greasy at the end. I also wished they'd warn you this and offer to order it without it; especially for those who don't eat pork or for those trying to cut some calories. There's a happy hour menu too!!! So you can get drinks and food even cheaper. I cannot stop thinking about this place. It's such a sleeper. Head to Midnight Oil after a visit to continue your night.

He went into the kitchen for fresh berries, muddled them with Tito's and soda, and made a genuinely refreshing summertime drink that helped with the heat...! I eventually ordered the Crispy Shrimp & Calamari to eat as my main (I was dining alone). I had recently had a very notable version of the same dish at a Canopy by Hilton in Washington DC, and unfortunately, this one did not measure up. The breading was average and the sweet chili aioli was poor. I asked for ranch instead, which was an improvement but still not great. The portion itself was fine. Service was solid and friendly! I'd rate the staff around a 4. Based on the food I had, the kitchen lands closer to a 2.5 to 3. Fine if you're already in the hotel and want something casual, but not an amazing choice for the fried seafood.

Whether you're going for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, The Attic is one of those places that just has something special about it. It's one of the most unique, eclectic restaurants you'll find in Long Beach. And if you love cornbread, oh my God, you have to try theirs! It's warm, buttery, served with honey, and absolutely delicious. I'm telling you, it's worth going just for the cornbread. The breakfasts are great. The lunches are great. The food across the board is fantastic. The bartenders are great. The menu has plenty of variety, and the whole place just has this incredible vibe. Imagine trying to find the restaurant with the biggest personality on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. That's basically The Attic. There's a certain energy to this place that's hard to describe. It's the same way Palm Springs has its own energy, or Melrose Avenue has a certain feeling you can't quite replicate anywhere else. The Attic has that kind of magic. And the best part? The food actually lives up to the atmosphere. The menu doesn't disappoint, the service is great, and the entire experience feels like something you won't find anywhere else. We have our own personality, our own culture, and our own energy. We're a little eclectic, a little unexpected, and completely ourselves. Booth the food and drinks were nice. This visit, we stopped by in the afternoon just as happy hour was starting. It is pet friendly which is also nice. Layout of the restaurant is, majority of the seating is outdoor which is covered. There's the dining area inside the restaurant which is pretty small, another patio to the side of that as well as the private room to the side for more of an intimate experience. Mainly the front patio and bar area tends to be the busiest. Staff were all amazing and friendly which is a major plus. Nobody wants to come an establishment where service is snooty and rude. Everyone was a major doll and the sweetest. Our waiter, I didn't get his name was the sweetest. As it was HH, they only had that menu available. Limited but still decent for what was offered. A good selection in cocktails items and for the price, they were great. As for food, same with limited items but pricing was great. They're known for the Mac and cheese with hot Cheetos as pretty much loads of the tables had ordered it. We've had it prior but this time opted out on it. Started off with one of their sangria which comes either red or white and an old fashioned. Both on the HH menu and very reasonable for 7.00 a pop. Cant beat that. Sangria was quite refreshing with the fruit slices while the old fashioned, it was strong. Actually worth it for 7.00. Food, a mixture of things to share. An order of their fries with parsley and rosemary with an aioli sauce for dipping, 8.00. The braised cheddar brat with house mustard, caramelized onions, Calabrian chili with basil and shallot for 11.00. Quite tasty and flavorful with all the topping and served in a nice roll. The chicken sandwich which was quite big. Fried chicken with cheddar and American cheese, chef sauce, pickles on a benne seed bun for 11.00. And lastly the attic cheeseburger with new school American cheese, pickles, grilled onion aioli, caramelized onions on a benne seed bun cooked medium for 12.00. It was tasty but between that and the chicken sandwich, chicken takes the leads. Pricewise for the sandwiches was great. Everything is à la carte on the menu. They do have other main dishes but we just stuck to the sandwiches. Also a second round of drinks was had. The mango margaritas and the classic. Both tasty and for 7.00 a pop, can't beat that. The whole experience was great. Service was excellent and all the staff were amazing. Patio seating is great as it's perfect for people watching and enjoying the outdoor. Until next time.
