Breakfast is ok. The biscuits are bad . They taste like they got them from Costco and heat them up. If you want a really good breakfast, go somewhere else. Watch you bill. I ordered an omelette. It was $7.99 and they tried to change me $8.49. They blamed it on the computer. Right. Think they raised the price and are too cheap to print new I went for lunch. It was really overpriced. I got a Ruben sandwich. It cost over $6.00 and was very mediocre. By the time I added fries and an iced tea my bill was $13.00. I could understand if the sandwich was good. Ok. So let's get this to the point. This is a greasy spoon. This isn't your Denny's or IHOP. This is a place that serves good breakfast and lunch on a good value. The waitresses are here to serve. Not be your bestie. They do a helluva good job. The negative reviews this place is getting is cause these people are used to their pampered breakfast shacks. Ham n Egg is legit. Great location and the food is always good. The service however is not the best. They bring your toast out cold and sometimes before your meal even arrives. We waiting quite a while for drink refills. Then seen the guy in the back cooking area really scratching at his head and rubbing face, not cool. Especially when around food being cooked. Nice little local diner-type place Eggs cooked as ordered; good quality breakfast potatoes; might have been frozen, but cooked quite well. This place used to be great. We went every Thursday morning. Our regular waitress was awesome and food was good. It is under new management. Waitress is gone and the place is a disaster. We went on Sunday, no orders taken, no food being delivered, a group of women in the kitchen looking lost, I saw at least ten people leave after not even being addressed. I had to get up to ask for my order to be taken and then again for my food. I have never seen any place implode like this. So sad. read more

Food here is gross, the waitresses are nice but the owners are rude and disrespectful to the staff. I heard a waitress get screamed at in front of customers for something she had zero control over. This place is terrible. I've been there twice. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. The food tastes like it's right out of a can. No flavor and cheaply made. My server was snippy and management didn't care at all that an entire table didn't eat the food. They were unapologetic and completely disregarded the unsatisfactory food and service. I was so excited that a breakfast place opened in the area. Was a regular for the first 3 weeks they opened. I told my neighbors and they tried it. So now three times in a row it has been horrible. First time my kids and I went there it was over and hour to get our food. And it wasn't hot at all. Convinced my son again to try it and once again the food was slow as hell and they completely messed up my order. Today I tried take out for dinner. We have needed a breakfast venue in this area for a long time. Love it. The freah food, friendly service, and great price has made Ham and Eggs a new family favorite! Had the Popeye omelette (eggs, spinach, cheese, bacon and swiss) which was delicious and fresh. My son had biscuits and gravy that must have been great. He ate every last bit and didn't make a sound until it was all gone. Great cup of coffee to boot! We'll be back and often!!! read more

The nice quaint little neighborhood diner the area has needed for eons. Its tiny inside (it is an old Sonic), and if you are a larger person like I am, forget about their tiny booths, but they do have a few tables wedged up against the well and a tall counter. Food is very good, prices are reasonable, and service is friendly. I thought it odd that you have to butter your own toast, but its not that big of a deal. This place gets zero stars really...took my mother out for breakfast for mothers day. Got seated immediately and then proceeded to sit for 20 minutes with no water, coffee or acknowledgement. Large party next to us was the cook Beth's family which she came out to greet and visit. We let her know how long we had been waiting for service and without even apologizing she said "well I'm just the cook". We got up and left. Have been several times, and it's a super nice little place. Everything I've ordered in the several times I've been here has been extremely tasty! They get the food out pretty quick, it's very good, and it's pretty cheap! The only things that I could mention, the coffee takes awhile to get re-filled sometimes, and if there's any kind of a wait everyone is standing on top of each other in the entryway. I have never had worse service at a restaurant. In my life. We were ignored for several minutes before acknowledged by anyone, it took a few moments longer for our order to be taken, and we left because it took an astonishingly long time for our food to come out. Meanwhile, a table behind us who came in well after us had their order taken and received their food. Went last week with a view of the kitchen "window counter." Saw the cook place a plate that was ready to be served on the counter and some egg fell off the plate. The server then USED HER BARE HAND and picked the egg up and put it back on the plate. She then served it to a customer. She did this not once but twice while I was there. That said, we were pleasantly surprised to find the prices at Ham 'n Eggs were $2 - $3 less than we were used to. 2 eggs over easy, 4 links, potatoes, and toast were prepared as expected. 3 egg spinach omelet, potatoes and toast were done per my wife's exacting specifications which earned the chef a tip. i have never been to this place before but since it's not even 5 minutes from my house my two kids wanted to try it, i agreed! when we first got there a lot of cars but we managed to find a spot! we walk in and it's a seat yourself place so the only stop open inside was a booth right across from the little kitchen! we looked at the menu and the menu was a mess! kids wanted something simple a bagel and cream cheese, i want e biscuits and gravy and some bacon! we all got chocolate milk also. we got our drinks and ordered our food which took 45 minutes to get 2 bagels a order of bacon and biscuits and gravy! since we got chocolate milk they didn't refill it so we waited about 25 minutes to see our server to get 3 waters! got our food and it was nasty! the kids bagels were burnt and very dry,my bacon was so cripsy you take a bite and it all falls apart, oh and for my biscuits and gravy there was four pieces of sausage and then the gravy part was just like water!!!! the beat part was the chocolate milk kids ate one bite of the bagel and i took one bite of biscuits and gravy the total was 23.23 and obly drank the chocolate milk worse place ive been to in a while and will not be returning we went and paid and left read more

First and mostly, my stomach churned each and every time one server, ( I think I heard her introduce herself as 'Susie'.) We were subjected to a wave of body odor like a bad Scentsy, reminiscent of driving by the city dump on a hot summer day. Please someone introduce her to the deodorant aisle across the street at Walgreens. After that my toast was lightly warmed I think, but since they leave it up to the guest to butter with warm butter pats that have been sitting out at room temperature for at least a few hours. But even that wouldn't melt the butter on the toast. The potatoes tasted good, the eggs were old, and the breakfast meat was raw at one end and well done at he other. Whooa, there she goes again with the tidal wave of incense drawn from the backwaters of St Charles sewer district, Maybe if she just worked outside (Downwind). I suppose I am at least not closer to the kitchen where a large man in a Denver hat is wearing a dirty towel around his sweaty neck and dabbing his brow, and only occasionally using it to wipe a plate. Thought it was an entertaining visit watching a crisply burnt omelet parade and the people next to me who were the victims of deep fried sausage carcasses hidden inside their pancakes. Restaurant pretty full though, it must be because the rest of the servers and the cashier were ever so nice and friendly and helpful. that would go a long way, I hope the owner knows that, though his conversations with them certainly showed no respect! read more
