My wife and I went to Ham'n Egg on a Sunday moring for a quick lunch. It is a small facility and usually crowded with a very small waiting area. They were busy at 10:45 Sunday morning. We had about a 15 minute wait to get a table. Everyone look like they were working hard and doing their best for everyone. The waitress, Rachel arrived at our table quickly and took our drink order. We ordered coffee and water and Rachel brought it to us very quickly. I like strong coffee and this coffee was pretty week. I was wanting pancakes and I ordered the Cinnamon package and it was very good. We saw that the skillets were very big with a lot of food and we shared a meat lover's skillet. When it came it was a lot of food and it was good. I would have preferred that it was hotter. I thought it was luke warm at best but my wife said she thought it was good. The bill was $24.77 which I thought was very reasonable. We have visited Ham'n Egg several times and I would say that this a pretty good overview of our visits. Next time, I should remember to ask for strong coffee and explain that I would prefer the food to come out hot. Hopefully, I won't come off as too much of a pain. Thanks read more

Cute very basic little place which is perfect for a no muss no fuss breakfast. Our server was friendly and helpful. The menu is VAST and contains both breakfast and lunch type items. We were there early on a Sunday morning (before the after church crowd) so breakfast it is! I had the pigs in a blanket with apple compote. It was very tasty! I haven't had this probably since I was a kid! It was fun! My companion had the hash and eggs. I had a taste of the hash and although I usually am a fan , this one was mediocre at best. Nice, no-frills breakfast and lunch spot. My French toast was nice, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with a nice cinnamon flavor. My eggs came out of kind of cold, but also, it was unseasonably chilly today and cold inside so I'm going to try again. My mom had their breakfast burrito with ham, she loved it! Staff members were very friendly and attentive. The inside looks like the rustic decor section of a Hobby Lobby exploded, but in the best way. The red and white barn door vibes were super cute. Arrived at 11:15am on a Sunday- place was super busy. We put our name in and waited a little while for a table. The hostess was nice enough to step outside to wave us in when it was our turn. Once seated we were able to put in drink and then food orders right away. The wait for food was a bit long, close to an hour but it certainly wasn't because they weren't hustlin'! Restaurant is diner casual with lots of chicken chotchkies. I ordered a Farmer's skillet; it needed something ... i should have added cheese. Food came hot once it did arrive. One of my dining companions got the same Farmer's skillet that he slathered with ketchup and hoovered up (sons lol). My other companion said she really enjoyed her bagel egg sandwich. read more

This is the best breakfast diner in the area. I've looked. I've compared, and Ham & Eggs remains the absolute best. I have been going here for years, and have had the same terrific server most of the time. The portions are great, the menu is just creative enough, and I've never had a bad breakfast. Good coffee. I ate here for the first time today and ordered the farmer skillet. Grandpa comes here pretty much every Sunday. The staff members him and I think he really enjoys it. He loves the woman that cooks in the kitchen and says she's the mama of the house. They are all very kind to him. My husband got the pancake bundle and the pancakes are very good and flavorful. I can't put my finger on what was in it. I couldn't decide if it was cinnamon or maybe some brown sugar but the pancakes were very delicious. Grandpa always gets a ham and cheese omelette and it comes with potatoes or fries very filling for him and he always has leftovers. The farmers skillet was delicious and definitely a lot of food. We've driven past the restaurant many times, and always noticed it was very busy. We decided to give it a try yesterday; and my wife and kids were very happy walking in and seeing the quaint and clean atmosphere and ambience in the restaurant with a very welcoming staff. Menu was quite large and full of appetizing choices that made it difficult to make a decision, but as we all enjoyed a very delicious meal with friendly service; we will go back to try the many other items in the menu. Other than that though, I enjoyed it and the atmosphere. Coffee was basic, but good. Service was friendly and reliable. Visited recently for the first time and had a solid breakfast. My Popeye omelet was tasty and it had plenty of spinach, bacon and Swiss! I might be in the minority, bu I prefer my scrambled eggs to be less well done and a little fluffier. Just needed to be removed from the heat a couple minutes sooner/lower heat. The omelet came with breakfast potatoes. I liked the crispy potatoes, but a dash of seasoning would make them perfect for me. It's a busy little place, so give yourself plenty of time. We asked the waitress if there was a problem and she said "you came at a busy time and it just takes a while" in a very snarky tone even though, we were in before the crowd, so we should have been first, right? I had to look twice, I could swear the place was shut down. It's dark, there's blocked doors, outside tables are covered, etc This is during COVID so I was there to pick up a to go order. I doubt I'd ever go there to eat. It's made of two by fours and plywood. Not the structure, I'm talking about the inside, the booths. Visible two by fours and plywood. It doesn't feel like it would comfortable, atmosphere-wise. (See photos) The food...good. It was a five minute drive back to the hotel, the dry toast (ordered that way) were hard and chewy but the corned beef hash and fried potatoes were quite nice. I would order those again. My first time visiting this restaurant. The first thing that caught my eye was that their dining room was open for business! No having to take food to go, thank God! I walked in to a busy place, full of customers and friendly staff. After I was quickly seated, the waitress showed up ready to get my order. The entrée I ordered was tasty. I also had a cinnamon roll, sorry but it didn't make it in to a photo because I didn't stop to take one before I devoured it. But the roll was ok, a bit dry and pricey for the size of it. This is a fantastic local breakfast establishment in an old Sonic building. Apparently they only got the shell, not any of the furnishings. Don't be put off by the lacquered plywood decor. It's fine. You can see into the kitchen area while they cook your food to order. They seem to prioritize dine in orders, so keep that in mind if you're ordering for pick up / to go. Don't flip out when they tell you it will be 40 minutes. It just means the dining room is full. The food is tasty, the service attentive, portions good sized, prices decent. This is another menu I'm going to have to eat my way through. Syrup and butter at the table - no having to spread a hard block of cold butter on your pancakes. The plain buttermilk are decent, by the way, but the cinnamon swirl are next level. There is not a lot of space inside so come early. read more
