Do Not Use This Company! On June 22. 2022 I hired H Town Steam to come to our home to clean the kitchen floor and shampoo the carpet in the living room and the master bedroom. While cleaning the kitchen floor, the hose on the machine burst, splattering cleaning solution all over the kitchen wall. Needless to say, it left a stain that would not come out. I contacted one of the owners of H Town Steam whose name is Chris to make him aware of what had happened. However, his technician had already informed him by phone as to what had happened. I texted him some pictures of the damage to the wall. I also let him know that we were not satisfied with the grout cleaning in the kitchen. He sent out a different technician a few days later to redo the kitchen floor and assess the damage done to the wall by the previous technician. I told the technician that we did not want the floors redone until the wall had been painted. I was told by the technician that this was not the first time that a hose has burst in a customer's home. After speaking with Chris again, he agreed to cover the cost to have the wall in our kitchen painted. I have text message conversations between Chris and myself that will attest to this. I also have pictures of the damage that was done to our kitchen wall. The last time I spoke with Christ by phone was August 20th when he stated..." I was hoping that you guys would pay us for the work that we did to your floors and to your carpet so that I could use those funds to offset the cost of what I will have to pay the painter" I don't feel that we should pay for their services until the wall in our kitchen has been painted. It is now August the 30th and our wall has still not been painted. I am more than willing to pay H Town Steam what is owed to them after they pay for the wall in our kitchen to be painted. read more

Booking our service was easy over the phone, and the technician who came to our home was polite and friendly, arriving about 15 minutes early (but giving me a call beforehand to make sure that was okay). It only took him about 30 minutes to clean the three rooms we needed cleaned, and when he was done our carpet looked almost new again - even the high traffic areas that I thought would never get clean! I wouldn't be writing this review but they called and emailed several times to get my feedback on the service. I really wasn't going to complain, but since they asked, I figured they actually cared. I obviously was wrong. I was met with excuses and each person I spoke to blamed us for the issues. So, here is my review. Technician was late. He called to say he'd be 45 min and ended up being almost two hours late. We were originally given the price for the in home service, when we had wanted the spa service. We decided at that point to try the in home and see if it made any difference on our area rug. The tech got out a few small stains but the heavily trafficked area looks the same, as if nothing had been done to it. It was heavily trafficked dirt, not red wine or paint! On top of that, the rug is heavily buckled now, so actually, they made it worse! The tech told my husband the spa service could get it out, but when my husband spoke to the manager, he said it was doubtful they could get it clean. When I spoke to the girl who called on Saturday, she said "OH no, the spa service can definitely get it clean, who told you that?" When the owner emailed me back after my reply to his email wondering how the service was, he said we had been looking for a guarantee....not at all true. We wanted a reasonable assurance that we weren't going to be throwing away hundreds of dollars. When someone says they doubt they can get it clean, that is a pretty good indication to get a second opinion. The tech also left his vacuum here, wondering how he got anyone else's carpets cleaned that day? They did refund part of the money which I thanked them for but I really didn't appreciate the subtle accusations of the owner that we had unreasonable expectations or demands. I didn't feel like they were at all sorry about all the mistakes and did that to avoid a review such as this. Also, when they called and when the truck arrive it was not H town cleaners, it was "Black tie" so I guess they go under that name as well, or they subcontract out. I wouldn't recommend either company. All around a very unprofessional company. read more

This was my first time using this service. I have 3 dogs, they just get everything hairy and I was almost to the point of just getting a new couch and rug. I Reached out to a couple of places on Google and I got an immediate response from H-Town steam. What I love the most is that they offer text communication. I wasn't expecting to get such a fast response so I left for work and even asked the customer service representative if she could give me a call because I was driving. Again they called right away. I was unsure of the dimensions of the rug that I needed cleaned, but she assured me that the technician would be able to measure it for me and quote me before starting the job. I selected a morning time slot for my service And I even got a courtesy call prior to arrival. My technician was Nathaniel. He was prompt, professional, and friendly. To say that he did a great job is an understatement. He brought my furniture and rug back to life! I explained to him that the rug has sentimental value even though I know, the quality of the rug is not great, He put that into consideration and handled my rug with so much care and I will definitely be using this service again. These guys did a great job. They were very efficient as a team and communicative. They were very responsive with my questions and scheduled the appointment at the time of my liking. I was not able to be there during the appointment since I was at work but, my wife said they were very professional and friendly. I was texting her asking her what was going on and she replied "they look like they know what they are doing and are working as a team"... "they're doing the downstairs vents" ..."now they are upstairs doing something" lol. They showed her the results of their filter after cleaning our ducts and she texted me the photo and yes they cleaned all that gunk out of there. Seems like now after their service I don't wake up with boogers in my nose in the morning like I used to. I got up in the ducts to look at what they did when I got home and it was spotless and even shiny. Will use them again when it's time to clean the ducts. Needed an emergency sofa cleaning. Via Yelp I requested a quote before business hours. By 830a, I had received the quote and a follow up phone call. They were able to book me between 10a - noon. Quetin phoned at 1030a to let me know he was 30 mins out. He was on time, professional and got to work. Steamed, deodorized, and stain blocked a three seat sofa and throw pillows. He worked for an hour unsupervised. When completed he asked me to check to make sure I approved of the work. Before he packed up the hoses he let me know to put a fan on it so it would dry in 6 hours. I was relieved the task was complete at a reasonable price. When my wife got home, she was so happy that HTown Steam saved her sofa. read more
