The owner provided a quote without ever viewing the property, which should have been a red flag. Two cleaners were sent out, and after approximately 8 hours, they left having completed only about half of the home. The areas they claimed to have cleaned were not done thoroughly or professionally. Despite this, I was told I still needed to pay the remaining balance because the workers "showed up and worked," even though the job was incomplete and poorly done. What was most concerning was the lack of communication and accountability: The team became "overwhelmed," yet I was never informed while they were on-site, even though I was present the entire time The owner later admitted she received updates and photos from her supervisor but still did not notify me Instead of correcting the issue, I was offered the option to pay additional hourly fees ($50-$90/hour) for someone else to finish the job that should have been completed initially I expressed my dissatisfaction and even provided photo evidence of the incomplete and poorly cleaned areas. Despite this, I felt pressured to pay the remaining balance to avoid potential conflict after just closing on my home. This experience was unprofessional, poorly managed, and not worth the cost. A deep cleaning service should be thorough, organized, and communicative--this was none of those. I never felt like I was left hanging by her. She answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of questions) in a very timely manner. When she arrived, I explained my situation to her. I deal with a lot of depression, ADHD, and anxiety. This makes things like keeping a tidy home completely overwhelming. So, instead of taking care of the problem, I let it get worse. The worse it got, the more depressed I became. I explained all of this to her, and she listened like a friend instead of someone I had hired to clean my apartment. She was completely empathetic and non-judgmental. She was also very straightforward yet tactful about what needed to get done. At one point, I thought I had to reschedule because I had an appointment and I didn't know what to do about my dog. Brea told me not to worry, she was very good with pets, and she had experience because she had a boxer at home. Penelope approved of her right away, and Brea's energy made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with her. She worked for hours and it showed. My apartment was sparkling and it smelled incredible! I love my dog, but she has some aromas that I absolutely do not love. I had asked Brea to add floor polishing and sofa cleaning to my package which I already felt was well priced for everything she was planning to do. I don't know how she did it, but she managed to remove all of Penelope's fur, and my floors were absolutely gleaming. Not only that, she had cleaned every single baseboard and my ceiling fans until they were unrecognizable. Brea left me with more than just a clean home. She left me with a fresh slate. It's much easier to maintain a clean home than it is to clean a messy one. I find myself fastidiously, wiping every surface the moment a crumb falls. I plan to hire her to help me maintain the level of clean she achieved. I figure that the cost of the cleaning will be worth the peace of mind it gives me.
