Junk King Houston North - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Houston, Texas

I saw all of the good reviews and had high hopes for Junk King. I scheduled a time for an estimate and got confirmation texts and emails. However, no one ever called or showed up. We tried to give Junk King a chance to explain themselves and make things right. They didn't know what happened or why we were stood up, but they apologized and scheduled us for another estimate today. Again, no one called or showed up :( so we got stood up twice - Lexi B. Update: the next day I finally got a call from Junk King and the guy (Ryan?) was not very sorry and pretty rude. He said he was busy. He started acting disparaging when we said we decided to work with someone else. Even though we are still figuring out who we will work with, we know it won't be Junk King. read more

Whenever I moved the guys made sure everything was safely wrapped up and good to go. They took care of it all and I didn't have to lift a finger! read more

Great work. Fair price. Showed up on time. Ryan did a great job resolving a small issue quickly. Will use them again!

I just had some junk hauled away that's been sitting in my garage forever. It was easy to make an online appointment, they sent text reminders and they called when they were on their way. They usually don't give a quote until arrival and there's no pressure to have your stuff hauled away either. But FYI they base on how many pick ups it would take...and for me it was one full pickup. And the price was significantly reasonable!! Jeffrey Snider and his young associate were 100% professional, courteous and their personalities were just awesome! This company is highly recommended and I plan on using them again in the future! read more

Fast great service. Very professional and quick response and fair price. Will you then in the future

Many businesses either lack delivery of performance or customer service. I'm here to tell you that Junk King North excels on both. I texted employee, Candy, a photo of my hot tub to be removed and within 3 minutes, I received a response to set up an appointment for a free quote. I received a text and call the night prior to confirm my appointment. Mike arrived earlier than our scheduled appointment (first calling to make sure it would be alright with me to show up soon, which was very considerate and actually worked out better for my schedule). He took a look at my hot tub and gave me a quote that I was comfortable with. I was told that big jobs such as hot tub removals will often require them to return another day to start the process. However within an hour or so, their General Manager, Jeff, along with 2 other gentlemen promptly showed up to begin the job. Each and every individual whom I encountered was polite and accommodating. I was especially impressed by Jeff's punctuality, interpersonal skills, and professionalism. Moreover, finishing the removal quickly (within 2 hours or so) and cleaning up the site wonderfully. They also took care of these old worn flower pots I no longer wanted, without fuss. I had one of the best experiences when it comes to services related to my home. I have no doubt that I would consider using Junk King North again in the future, as well as referring them to my family and friends. read more

WONDERFUL AND FAIR! The guys showed up today and were timely and professional! Would hire them again in the future.

Hiring the Junk King to clean out my attic and haul junk away from my house before we move and sell will probably go down as the best decision we've made during this move. From the moment Sean come out to quote us (absolutely a fair price) to the next day....they were here early and the entire crew, especially JJ and Will, was professional, courteous and helpful. They pulled down everything in our attic (a full truck load) and gave us time to go through and keep what was important and haul off what we didn't want. They hauled off another truck load from side of house from my house andorganizing. Quick and easy! Look no further.....the Junk King has you covered :) Update!!!! We have used Junk King two additional times and each time was fast, friendly and affordable! #nomorejunk read more

I found them on Yelp today and asked for an estimate. They texted within 5 mins. Asked a few questions and offered to show up the next day, provide an estimate and if we we're good with it, they'd get it done right then and there. We scheduled but later learned the buyer of the home was ok leaving it all there. So, we called and cancelled. No problem. Very professional and courteous. Lupe was responsive, professional and helpful. If we need services again we're going straight to them. Highly recommend them and all other great reviews indicate they do awesome work fast. read more

Jeff was late the day he came to give us the estimate but discounted us for our wait, which was a nice gesture of customer service that is so rare these days. But what surprised me was the quality of work they did. After removing the stuff, a lot of it pretty smelly due to the animals, Jeff and his crew swept the garage out and sent me pictures of it. I couldn't believe how immaculate they left it. I'll definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone who needs a junk hauler. They're reasonable, both courteous and friendly, and, most of all, professional. Thank you, Jeff! read more

Excellent service. I like that they try to repurpose what they can so it all doesn't need to go in a land fill. They actually stayed late a swept out my garage. read more

I messaged them on Yelp and the provided me with a quote within 10-20 minutes that beat all of the other quotes I received later on that day. They gave me a courtesy call the next day to confirm my appointment and also called once they were on the way. Staff was prompt and curtious and I would use them again if needed. read more

Excellent service!!! I called a couple days ago they confirmed appointment. Moved items quickly with a great rate!!!

Selected these guys based on their reviews, and I'm so glad I did. We're getting ready to move and I had quite a bit of junk from my garage. Jeff (General Manager) called me multiple times before they arrived to give me updates on when they would be there, and then the entire process was amazingly smooth and professional. The price was great, they worked hard, cleaned up, and made sure that I was completely happy before I left. Would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs any type of junk hauled away. read more

Exceptionally great service. Received a quote on the spot and came to an agreement. The job performance was above and beyond what I'd expected to be done. Can't say enough good things about Junk King. The crew was on time, polite, professional and most important careful. They took the time to disassemble a piece of furniture to keep from damaging my home when removing it. That goes a long way in my book. I will continue to use Junk King for any projects in the future. If you book online you save $30. read more

Do not use this service. I booked an appointment for a pick up between 2pm and 4pm today which was confirmed. At 330pm, I received a call claiming they had a big job to do and they had a truck break down and thus they could not do the pickup today. They offered a $20 discount which was the discount already offered if the job was booked online. There are many other mattress disposal services in Houston that will do the job for $60-$80. The only reason why I was willing to pay more was because they claimed they could do the job today. Misleading and false advertising. read more

Efficient and excellent service--Trey and Javis were available 2 hrs before than my appointment time and coordinated with us to drop by early. They were super fast, loading nearly a full truck with old furniture and miscellaneous items in just over 30 min. Also, the online estimator was spot on. I entered the items I needed picked up and the estimate shown matched the final estimate by the team the next day. There was a problem with their handheld credit card machine and I needed to make payment via phone. Their manager, Jeff, explained their safety procedures to assure they take credit card safety seriously. Overall, this was a great team to work with and a super experience. read more

Reasonable price with courteous service was much appreciated.

Very nice guys came to pick up my junk. Love this place. The guys were even going to unroll my rug for me that I had moved out of the way, but I had already done it when they were outside. So sweet! Very reasonable also. read more

I'm totally in AWE. Used Thumbtack to submit a request today not expecting to get a call just 1 day after Thanksgiving. Not only did I get a response - Jim Schneider arrived in less than 30 minutes with a great price. Company doe a great job in pricing add-on requests within close proximity of areas served that day. Jim Snider is the GM - outstanding service and professional - class act - A+ service. This is by far the best service I have ever received for this type of service. The other team member arriving with Jeff was professional, well-spoken, and customer focused at getting the task completed. Definitely deserve 5 Star rating and my recommendation! Phenomenal company. I talked with the owner to set up my pick up. He called me right after I requested a quote online, as in an hour, not days. The price was super reasonable. The pick up crew called me the night before to confirm. They called again an hour before scheduled pick up and gave me a precise arrival time. The two gentlemen who arrived were courteous to myself and my curious children and took care not to damage my home or item being picked up. I will be recommending this company to my neighbors. This is the company you should choose to help with junk removal. read more
