If I could give this company negative stars I would. They started off doing awesome work caring about their customers and getting the appointment scheduled and showing up I was such a fan of their work. I wouldn't dare look at any of their competitors and use them for everything. But as they have grown, they have forgotten what customer service means They could care less, whether you are a customer have been a customer and cannot get an appointment Now it is hell on earth to schedule an appointment of any kind. Trash - does not even come to your house to pick up the trash. They send some external company that they hire to do contract work They don't call you back and they ignore you when they finally talk to you It takes about 10 calls to finally talk to a human being to only have them talk down to you like you're an idiot and ignore you I have proof because I have a recorded call showing how they treated me The website does not work to schedule appointments don't waste your time. Or if you have all the time in the world to waste on these people trying to get an appointment by all means waste your entire day on them to get absolutely no where. Worst trash company I've ever dealt with. I deal with hundreds of dumpster rentals a year, once I pay I usually get them the next morning. Not only did they get my order wrong, I ordered a 40 yard and they are bringing me a 30 yard. They couldn't offer me any discounts for the inconvenience, on top of that they said if I wanted to know when it was in route that I had to pay a $30 fee. I waited since 8 am all day today and their "window" is 8am-6pm then close to 540 ish I called and they lied saying there was a dead stop on the freeway, that it'll be delivered after 6, still no discount or delivery. I got stood up by this company today after wasting hours waiting. I chose them because I wanted to use a local company rather than 1-800-got junk. I scheduled the pick up online for between 12 and 2. Called the morning of the scheduled pick-up to confirm the appointment and provide parking information. Left for my sister's apartment (she has been hospitalized 4 times this year and had to move into assisted living) and arrived 30 minutes early to make sure the guys would not have to wait. At 1 pm, I got a call but was hung up on. I called the office to make sure it was not Trash n Dash. Was told the driver would be called to make sure they knew I was waiting. At 2, I call to check on the arrival time. Woman at the office tells me I was definitely still on the schedule and she would call and check on the status. Ten minutes later, I receive a form text telling me my appointment was canceled-- no explanation. I call back and am again told that I was scheduled and she would check with the driver. Office staff calls back to say the pick up is cancelled allegedly because they couldn't reach me! WTF?? Only offer was to reschedule for tomorrow. Why would I trust them again? You know the old saying ... Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. We'll see if Got Junk is more professional. So disappointing. read more

VERY IMPRESSED! Called Trash n Dash to clean out an Apartment. Setting the appointment was easy and the girl on phone was professional and helpful. ( Anastasia I think was her name. ) Instantly I got an email confirmation. As promised the driver called 20 min ahead and was even available sooner. Keon and James was great and friendly. I got a Reminder email again that morning. Appreciate the use of digital marketing. They worked at a good pace and clean out the apartment in no time. They even swept the floor near the end and was done! Trash and Dash even came out during the weekend rain. Price was reasonable at $150. I didn't get to use the Yelp coupon $75 for 90 value. I called on Wednesday, got an estimate start price for load. Scheduled for next morning pick up. I didn't get a phone call upon arrival. Luckily was morning and I was up/home. The guys came looked at junk, gave final price, I approved it. The guys got to work. I say within an hour they were done. Fast and no labor for me needed! THE "STUFF " BUSTERS These guys are wonderful! They are very efficient AND fast! I had no idea I had so much "stuff" that was just "stuff". We put blue tape on everything that stays (after packing some boxes). Everything else on the floor? BOOM! it was gone! I still have more "stuff" I can get rid of in those boxes. I didn't realize that some of that really is just "stuff". I have a new lease on life. It's amazing how different a life and mind can be when there is so much clutter around. I think we don't realize how much "stuff" we really have. (And the renters that left their "stuff" too). Try it! OMG, my life and mind are so very... organized now that I'm "stuff-less". They are not even close to a posted rate. They are using an up selling script over the phone. I stated a simple job of 2 mattresses and would be picked up on the street. Response was blah blah blah, our rates start at $125 and are based on how much space is taken up. Nothing about $75-90. Then she begins sharing they handle all of the labor etc. As I shared, we would have 2 mattresses on the street for pick up. No quotes given over the phone, even for simple job. They will provide custom quote once they arrive. Talk about up selling and hide the ball. read more

Do not use this service!!! We hired them to remove a desk and two bookshelves when we were moving out of our apartment. When we went into the backyard for a moment to grab something, we returned in the house to find they had thrown out four antique chairs belonging to our landlord which they were explicitly told not to take. On top of that, they broke the chairs immediately to throw in the truck so they were completely unsalvageable. When we talked to the managers about it, their stated policy is that they will only reimburse items they destroy by mistake if you are standing there watching them do it, you tell them not to destroy the item, and they refuse to stop. They also insisted we were lying about telling them to not take the chairs, and because Trash N Dash does not give you any paperwork or contract we apparently have no recourse. Not only are we now being charged hundreds of dollars for these antique chairs by our landlord but Trash N Dash left broken glass and sharp screws in our driveway when they left that we had to clean up. Ultimately, Trash N Dash is extremely unprofessional and has cost us a lot of money. read more

From my initial contact with the company, I received nothing but professional service and kindness as I spoke to staff about needing a pickup of junk as I moved from my apartment. I told the staff what I had and they gave me a reasonable estimate of how much it would cost to do a pickup. Pickup day arrived and I received a courtesy call from two gentlemen asking if I would like for them to come a little early since they had already completed a job that came before mine. I didn't mind and the gentleman came right over. The gentleman were awfully professional and friendly. They came in quickly collected all my junk and went about their way. I called Trash N Dash for help during my recent move. I was downsizing from a 3-bedroom house to an apartment after a divorce, and had a lot of old furniture I needed to get rid of. The two Trash N Dash employees arrived in a timely manner, measured the size of the items I needed removed, and then gave me a quote. Once I gave the go- ahead, they got right to work, loading everything on their truck efficiently. The workers were polite and respectful. The service was not cheap (over $400), but I did have a lot of larger size items, so I thought the price was reasonable. It was definitely worth it to me. When I initially selected this company, I thought I was making a good selection! I was wrong! After doing my research to see the things they could pick up, I set up an appointment for 3 pm. I received a phone call about 1 saying they would be a bit late. I thought nothing of it until it was almost 7 pm! And I had to call to see what was going on. I was told another 20 min! I finally get another call from the workers in which they told me they don't take refrigerators which is pretty much the main thing I needed taken, after all on the website it says they take refrigerators! My heart is full. I LOVE BRENT & KEON at TRASHNDASH. My kitchen is being remodeled, so almost a story tall trash pile was to be carried off. It was a very hot afternoon to be doing anything. The day before I was having a blast knocking the tar out of my awful, countertops I've hated for 10 long years. While I banged away, (My contractor warned me not to get hurt.) I banged up my beautiful, heart diamond ring. Brent & Keon were there (My contractor was paying them - not me.) just to take away this massive pile of trash. Swallowing my pride I informed them there was a heart diamond in that pile & if they found it I would pay them $500.00. Immediately, they both said, "No ma'am, you can have the diamond if I find it." "Ma'am, I will just give you your diamond." Two hours later, after a thorough search of every single piece of trash, we didn't find the diamond, but it wasn't from a lack of trying. I cried just a little & hugged them too (Keon said, "You can never have enough hugs.") when I thanked them for going 'over & above duty'. I assured them the tears were not because of the heart diamond (Believe me, there are a whole lot worse things...) but because, "This is the good GOD Promises that comes out of bad." - the kindness of strangers. Finishing up, they swept my driveway until even the little pieces were cleaned up. I kept saying, "That's good enough. That's good enough." I don't usually post negative reviews, but they are a horrible service. I scheduled the day before for the opening of 8-10am. The e-mail came through and confirmed my appointment. When I didn't receive correspondence the next day at 8, I called and they didn't even have me scheduled. So they set me up for the next time slot offered from 10-12. This was an inconvenience, but I needed the junk removed from my commercial space. They didn't show up until after the 10-12 window, and showed up with a half full truck. This meant that they were going to have to dump and come back not completing the job until 2-3 pm. A long way away from my 8-10am schedule. Horrible business practices. Don't use if you value your time. Not discount was offered after my inconvenience, either. Horrible company. read more
