I need to be honest here - as a cleaning agency, while there are a few things I did like about Better Choice (responsiveness, straightforward pricing, on-time arrival), I can't say I'll be using them again - and I would not recommend to others. Context: we are in the process of preparing to move. We have most of our belongings boxed in the garage, and at the time the cleaners arrived, there was what I would characterize as a very normal amount of personal belongings. The cleaners said they normally start in the primary bedroom, and when it wasn't available at the start time, they went to the kitchen. So far so good. And I'm working alongside - like I said, we're prepping the house, it's a team sport. But then they'd start to get sidetracked or hyperfocused on non-issue areas like intensely scrubbing the top inside of the oven or wiping each blind over and over. I really don't want to be micromanaging, so I text the HQ and just make sure we're on the same page of the things that were outlined in their inclusions. I say that since we're mostly interested in taking care of stuff that will show in photos, I wonder if we could deprioritize the drawer interior wiping and organizing. And they would respond to that, but then get hung up on something else. What didn't make sense to me was, again, the fact that the house was in a pretty normal condition as far as the stuff that people usually have around the house, but the cleaners were operating like they were only used to doing a rental deposit prep after belongings had been taken out. Fast forward to now, several days later. Every day I'm finding things that were definitely in their cleaning path that were completely ignored. It's unfortunate that I didn't notice them when they were here, but again, who wants to micromanage? And yet I'm taking magic erasers to blinds - the ones that they spent a ton of time on - because there are very obvious but very cleanable (read: one magic eraser swipe) spots on them. I literally picked a dead mosquito out of the window sill shortly after they left. I will say this - together, we got a lot more done in a relatively short amount of time than I would've been able to do on my own. The office staff were quick to respond and communications were prompt and professional. But if you need an extra set or two of hands of people who will work, there are better-priced alternatives, and I'm sure you'll find one or two that will dazzle you with the results. tl;dr: A Better Choice? Great service! Arrived promptly and on time. Carpets look brand new. Recently moved to new home and carpets were pretty dirty and I thought stained. I was going to replace the carpet entirely until a friend said I try to clean carpets first. I bought a Bissell and it did nothing! They made our new home immaculate! There was some cleaning missed by the previous owners and I had some specific requests. We have a 2600 sq foot home and they knocked it out in 3.5 hours. Super fairly priced and so glad I didn't have to scrub those walls, deep clean the bathrooms, fridge or oven, or dust the endless amount of blinds we have. They saved my back and hands. Excellent! Our entire experience with this company was amazing! The lady who answered the phone was so sweet and informative. She answered all of our questions. When the carpet cleaner guy got here (sorry I forgot his name), he was on time, prompt , and courteous. He even text us twenty minutes prior to arrival. The entire process was simple. We only had to move simple things off the floor. All the big stuff stayed in place. The bed, dresser, everything stayed in place. He cleaned everything. I checked under our dresser, bed, night stand...all clean. I don't know how he did it, but he did. We got 3 rooms, hallway, and the stairs cleaned. I thought the carpet was trashed and no way to clean but figured it was worth a shot. The carpet literally looks brand new again! And it smells amazing! Please go with this company.
