Again, they were on time, the same lead was just as dedicated to doing a great job, and they made the logistics so easy. So yesterday, I hired them to do a one time deep clean of my own home. They missed absolutely nothing - fans, baseboards, picture frames, not a speck of dust or dog hair to be found. Different crew but just as efficient and professional. They both spent over 2 hours in the kitchen alone! The cost for the poor service was over 400 dollars! We gave a generous cash tip to both workers because at first look they seemed to do a great job, the refrigerators looked great, but after more inspection we saw that they completely missed several closets and drawers throughout the house that were built into the house so not personal property. My wife and I spent a couple of hours finishing the work. This was supposed to be a total home move out cleaning. It was also a hell of a coincidence that our relatively new Badger InSinkerator was broken when they were in the kitchen. Never had a issue with it before and they did offer 75 dollars for it which I declined because a coincidence is not proof that they actually caused it. So I had to pay 150 to buy a new one and install it for the new owners. I did insist on a lousy 1 hour reduction on cost because that was a fair compromise for the ridiculous amount of time it took and they ghosted me to show how professional they are! You would think that when I don't accept the 75 dollars for the broken InSinkErator but I still insist on the 60 dollar reduction, 1 hour of "cleaning", that this is about the principal. After reviewing the other reviews you can see a pattern where several others have had the same experience as we did. The last two times Better Choice cleaned for me (same girl every time) I pointed out some things they missed such as the drawer under the oven & it still wasn't cleaned. Just a quick swipe (I not only saw what she did but also could see that swipe mark in the grime the previous tenant left) & a bad attitude about me asking for it to be done. I gave Better Choice 2 chances to make sure it wasn't just 1 bad day, but for that much money, I'm not going to waste it again. I spent three hours myself cleaning after she left. There was a haze from the cleaning solution on the counters & floors, dust on the closet shelves, & the shower looked like it had never been cleaned (soap scum on the tile & mildew on grout). Like I mentioned in my previous reviews, I have 4 units that I have called on Better Choice to clean before a new renter moves in. They served me with two good cleanings. Not happy with the last few cleanings. I signed up for Better Choice Cleaning after a horrible cleaning experience with another company and was very pleased overall with their work! The cleaners moved quickly and did a great job overall. They overlooked the base boards and didn't vacuum the stairs, but when I reached out to the customer service rep she sent them back to finish the cleaning thoroughly. The price is not cheap though...my house is less than 3k sq. feet, 3 floors, 3 beds, 3.5 baths and the cleaning total for a deep clean was $356.95. You get what you pay for though, especially after my experience with the other company! Great communication and follow through with the customer service assistant as well with scheduling through to end. Overpriced and very poor job with cleaning. I got pre-move in cleaning and they did a very sloppy job in bathrooms and with window cleaning. Also they did not clean inside any cabinets and drawers, which should be normal for a vacant move-in clean. Looks like I wasted over $350 dollars since I will hire somewhere else to property clean the bathroom, windows, and inside cabinets. They really scam you with their hourly rate and better to hire someone with full upfront change (lesson learned). I had many other quotes for flat charge rate which I was lower than what they charged and the fact that the cleaning Job was very poor was many areas left untouched and they didn't even dust the ceiling fans. read more

I was not happy with the service i was given. The cost was about $470 for a move in/move out cleaning, there was no furniture in the home. One room was not even touched and as i wiped my hand on the built in desk it was covered in dust. There were crumbs left in the microwave, handprints on glass on the doors, it was as if the cleaners came to do a quick routine cleaning but charged us for a 5 hour deep clean. The carpet looked good but otherwise I wouldn't recommend this cleaning service. After expressing our concerns, the owner wasn't willing to do more than give a 15% discount only on the hourly clean and not the total cost. I saw in other reviews that service was inconsistent but gave it a shot anyway. I should've listened. Communication was a struggle. I gave clear parking instructions when I made the appointment. Luckily I was home for the cleaning and was able to direct the cleaner to move her car before it was towed, but it was a struggle as we didn't speak the same language. They did a deep cleaning in a 1,000 sq ft one-bedroom apartment in about 4 hours. I'm not sure what cleaners were used but they lingered for several hours and gave me a headache. I did my best to shelter my car from it. The cleaning was strangely inconsistent - the oven and shower were cleaned extremely thoroughly, but several surfaces were not dusted and you could see where only the front, obviously parts of fixtures were cleaned. It felt a bit lazy to me and the cleaner's attitude was just off. I also had to ask for the furniture to be cleaned, again super difficult to the language barrier but I was surprised that at least vacuuming it wasn't a given with a deep clean. I told the contact on Yelp about the issues and they didn't comment at all. I expected them to at least offer to send someone to fix it like they did on other reviews, but I'm guessing that's because I didn't leave a review and they knew I was interested in future service. We wanted biweekly cleanings after so I asked for someone else. They said it was no problem, but then cancelled the day before and said after that only the original person was available going forward so we switched to another company. read more

I wish I had not hired them. While they did clean my carpet after a bad water spill on it, I told them ahead of time my main concern was getting the carpet dry before permanent damage was done. Instead, when I came home it was sopping wet. I told them this the next day and they claimed to do more drying on it "and that it should be totally dry in about 3 hours." When I got home it was still wet to the touch, and after four days of having fans constantly pointed at it, it was still wet. After that I rented a big Bissell carpet cleaner from petsmart and dried it myself for 2 hours, and I'm glad I did because it extracted well over a gallon of water they left behind. I learned a hard and expensive lesson that I would have been better off doing the cleaning myself. I can only hope they did not ruin my carpet permanently. read more

We hired BCC for a Deep Cleaning to prep our house to sell. Sadly, we had a terrible experience. We spent the evening recleaning the house. We couldn't figure out what they did in the time they were at our house - the fans, headboards, kitchen appliances, chairs were not even dusted. We honestly have never had such poor service with any of our previous cleaners. On a positive note, they did a nice job on the master bath shower. Next business day I got a call from Kathy who was super accomodating amd helpful, she helped me schedule for a Saturday clean, and even helped me reschedule when I called back about 4 hours later. On cleaning day, I got a text 30 minutes before my assigned cleaning crew (two very efficient ladies) arrived, they looked around and then told me I would get a call when they were done. I got a text not 30 minutes later informing me of an estimated 4 hours clean time which was one hour less than I was quoted. 3:30 hours later I got a call telling me they'd be ready in 20 minutes. I drove down and the house was sparkling clean on the inside! Paid with my credit card and got a receipt through the email. Overall I would 100% recommend Better Choice Cleaning. The service was only ok but not worth the $150 I spent. I live in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment that's a little over 1000 sq ft. The price doesn't even include carpet cleaning. The sinks weren't well cleaned around the faucets. I'm not sure if the bathtubs were even cleaned. The inside of the fridge was well cleaned and even organized, but the outside of the fridge and inside of my cabinets weren't cleaned at all even though thy were empty (I had just moved back in after spending the summer out of state). Additionally, my wax melter was broken. It was nice of her to organize my desk and remake my bed, but I wish a better job had been performed. Would not use this company again. read more

Move-Out Cleaning- the girls were punctual, and professional. They let me know when they were done with each room. They were incredibly thorough. My husband is very picky about cleaning and was very impressed with their attention to detail. Carpet cleaning: again, very punctual. He walked us through what to expect and got after it! In my line of field, cleaning residential properties is a high priority. I personally take cleaning and customer service very seriously. First to start with is Cathy, who does all of the booking, organizing appointments and first impressions for the company. She has excellent customer service and has went out of her way repeatedly to make sure I was taken care of. The cleaners will show up on time and will send you a tracker via text letting you know when they arrive and when they are leaving. They are very detailed with cleaning from top to bottom. They also clean quickly as possible without sacrificing the quality of cleaning. I personally had a difficult (high maintenance) client that was ready to nitpick the cleaning on one of my properties. They have been in the property for almost 4 months and after moving in, they have been very pleased with Better Choice Cleaning Services WITH NO COMPLAINTS!!
