I had 2 couches steam cleaned. They did a great job!!! On time and were neat and professional.

Great job at an affordable price. Cleaner showed up on time and the quality of work was superb. I will hire them again.

I did not end up using them because I need an actual price estimate because I have a budget. Instead they wanted me to just accept that they might raise the price as they saw fit once they were in the middle of the job. Um, nope. read more

Reply to Brenda: You wrote: "As you know, the extra time was due to your request for the crew to clean the back apartment after they had completed your home." What you just said is a complete Lie! First of all there is no back apartment! There is only a home period that your crew took 6 hours to "clean". We asked them to not clean 2 rooms so it is even more ridiculous that is took 6 hours to "clean" 1700 sq ft of a 2000 sq ft home! Yes I was there and texting you about it so this is Not the first time this has been brought up. You wrote: "We offered to send a technician to assess the situation and determine if a fix was possible, but you declined." You are talking about the InSinkerator which I declined to have you look at it since I already knew it had been destroyed! So no fix was possible! You said: "We value our customers and strive to ensure their complete satisfaction, and we made every effort to do so in this instance." Total BS you literally ghosted me when I pointed out that an initial quote of 3 hours then turned into 4 hours, to which I agreed, but then it turned into 6 hours because of incompetence. I insisted that was too long and required that you refund me 1 hour, and still 5 hours is way too long, but that was when you decided that ghosting the customer was your ace up your sleeve! Original review: They apologized repeatedly that the crew was taking way too long, so they admit it was not going well and I have the texts, but then charged us for the total time of 6 hours, was supposed to be 3 hours then we agreed to pay for 4 hours, for 2 people to "clean" 1700 square feet of a 2000 ft home! They both spent over 2 hours in the kitchen alone! The cost for the poor service was over 400 dollars! We gave a generous cash tip to both workers because at first look they seemed to do a great job, the refrigerators looked great, but after more inspection we saw that they completely missed several closets and drawers throughout the house that were built into the house so not personal property. My wife and I spent a couple of hours finishing the work. This was supposed to be a total home move out cleaning. It was also a hell of a coincidence that our relatively new Badger InSinkerator was broken when they were in the kitchen. Never had a issue with it before and they did offer 75 dollars for it which I declined because a coincidence is not proof that they actually caused it. So I had to pay 150 to buy a new one and install it for the new owners. I did insist on a lousy 1 hour reduction on cost because that was a fair compromise for the ridiculous amount of time it took and they ghosted me to show how professional they are! You would think that when I don't accept the 75 dollars for the broken InSinkErator but I still insist on the 60 dollar reduction, 1 hour of "cleaning", that this is about the principal. After reviewing the other reviews you can see a pattern where several others have had the same experience as we did. Do not use these people because you could easily be next on their crap experience list! read more

Better Choice did an incredible job cleaning my home. They were responsive and thorough. Highly recommend them!

The last two times Better Choice cleaned for me (same girl every time) I pointed out some things they missed such as the drawer under the oven & it still wasn't cleaned. Just a quick swipe (I not only saw what she did but also could see that swipe mark in the grime the previous tenant left) & a bad attitude about me asking for it to be done. I gave Better Choice 2 chances to make sure it wasn't just 1 bad day, but for that much money, I'm not going to waste it again. I spent three hours myself cleaning after she left. There was a haze from the cleaning solution on the counters & floors, dust on the closet shelves, & the shower looked like it had never been cleaned (soap scum on the tile & mildew on grout). Like I mentioned in my previous reviews, I have 4 units that I have called on Better Choice to clean before a new renter moves in. They served me with two good cleanings. Not happy with the last few cleanings. I wish I could say I've found an alternative company to do high quality work, but still seeking someone who has a check list and actually does thorough work. read more

Good cleaning service! The staff were really nice and quick and thoroughly cleaned my apartment! The price was just right as well! I will be hiring them again! read more

I loved the cleaning bit when I asked to set up cleanings every two weeks, my request was received then totally forgotten. I don't get it. I guess they don't need any business. read more

I signed up for Better Choice Cleaning after a horrible cleaning experience with another company and was very pleased overall with their work! The cleaners moved quickly and did a great job overall. They overlooked the base boards and didn't vacuum the stairs, but when I reached out to the customer service rep she sent them back to finish the cleaning thoroughly. The price is not cheap though...my house is less than 3k sq. feet, 3 floors, 3 beds, 3.5 baths and the cleaning total for a deep clean was $356.95. You get what you pay for though, especially after my experience with the other company! Great communication and follow through with the customer service assistant as well with scheduling through to end. Would love if they offered cash discounts...will use them again in the future! read more

Brenda was easy to schedule with and a great communicator. The carpet/upholstery cleaning was scheduled quickly. I did have to call Brenda during the cleaning because I do not speak Spanish. The issue was handled promptly. Thank you! read more

I had originally scheduled KIWI carpet cleaners, but after seeing that Better Cleaning had superior reviews I decided to go with them. They showed up in time, worked faster than I expected, and got my carpets cleaner than I thought was possible!! I wish they would have reminded me to keep the a/c circulating for 24+ hours, but everything ended up ok. Call these people! read more

Overpriced and very poor job with cleaning. I got pre-move in cleaning and they did a very sloppy job in bathrooms and with window cleaning. Also they did not clean inside any cabinets and drawers, which should be normal for a vacant move-in clean. Looks like I wasted over $350 dollars since I will hire somewhere else to property clean the bathroom, windows, and inside cabinets. They really scam you with their hourly rate and better to hire someone with full upfront change (lesson learned). I had many other quotes for flat charge rate which I was lower than what they charged and the fact that the cleaning Job was very poor was many areas left untouched and they didn't even dust the ceiling fans. read more

I was not happy with the service i was given. The cost was about $470 for a move in/move out cleaning, there was no furniture in the home. One room was not even touched and as i wiped my hand on the built in desk it was covered in dust. There were crumbs left in the microwave, handprints on glass on the doors, it was as if the cleaners came to do a quick routine cleaning but charged us for a 5 hour deep clean. The carpet looked good but otherwise I wouldn't recommend this cleaning service. After expressing our concerns, the owner wasn't willing to do more than give a 15% discount only on the hourly clean and not the total cost. I have used too many good services to be satisfied with this level of service. read more

Cristina was awesome! I hired them last min for a deep cleaning and was very impressed. Great pricing too

They were great! They worked around my very specific schedule requests and did a great job!

Very happy with the cleaning. Booked an appointment to prep my property for a real estate open house. Christina was on time and did a great job cleaning the entire space. We did a walkthrough and discussed the important areas and she did an excellent job focusing on the scope we talked about. Pricing was reasonable for the quality received. Will definitely use them in the future. read more

We hired BCC for a Deep Cleaning to prep our house to sell. Sadly, we had a terrible experience. We spent the evening recleaning the house. We couldn't figure out what they did in the time they were at our house - the fans, headboards, kitchen appliances, chairs were not even dusted. We honestly have never had such poor service with any of our previous cleaners. On a positive note, they did a nice job on the master bath shower. I wish they had carried that through the rest of the house. Not worth the $300+ we paid. Updated to add: I did contact the business and have the emails of our conversations. read more

Be aware deep cleaning does not include deep Cleaning of carpet or floors. They did a general good job in all other areas execep the refrigerator The quote was for deep cleaning not only swipe an mop, you should specified the floors or carpet are not included in the deep cleaning or charge more for the task. The refrigerator was all empty. I did contact you and you texted me your staff will be there to fix the refrigerator cleaning and never showed up. For $300+ and the excellent reviews I expected better. read more

I saw in other reviews that service was inconsistent but gave it a shot anyway. I should've listened. Communication was a struggle. I gave clear parking instructions when I made the appointment. Luckily I was home for the cleaning and was able to direct the cleaner to move her car before it was towed, but it was a struggle as we didn't speak the same language. They did a deep cleaning in a 1,000 sq ft one-bedroom apartment in about 4 hours. I'm not sure what cleaners were used but they lingered for several hours and gave me a headache. I did my best to shelter my car from it. The cleaning was strangely inconsistent - the oven and shower were cleaned extremely thoroughly, but several surfaces were not dusted and you could see where only the front, obviously parts of fixtures were cleaned. It felt a bit lazy to me and the cleaner's attitude was just off. I also had to ask for the furniture to be cleaned, again super difficult to the language barrier but I was surprised that at least vacuuming it wasn't a given with a deep clean. I told the contact on Yelp about the issues and they didn't comment at all. I expected them to at least offer to send someone to fix it like they did on other reviews, but I'm guessing that's because I didn't leave a review and they knew I was interested in future service. We wanted biweekly cleanings after so I asked for someone else. They said it was no problem, but then cancelled the day before and said after that only the original person was available going forward so we switched to another company. read more

I wish I had not hired them. While they did clean my carpet after a bad water spill on it, I told them ahead of time my main concern was getting the carpet dry before permanent damage was done. Instead, when I came home it was sopping wet. I told them this the next day and they claimed to do more drying on it "and that it should be totally dry in about 3 hours." When I got home it was still wet to the touch, and after four days of having fans constantly pointed at it, it was still wet. After that I rented a big Bissell carpet cleaner from petsmart and dried it myself for 2 hours, and I'm glad I did because it extracted well over a gallon of water they left behind. I learned a hard and expensive lesson that I would have been better off doing the cleaning myself. I can only hope they did not ruin my carpet permanently. read more

Better Choice Cleaning emailed me a quote for a deep clean plus a price per hour after the first 4 hours. Once they completed the cleaning they changed the price and charged me more. It's a bait and switch!!!! I do not recomand using this company due to the dishonest and incompetent office staf. The cleaning crew did a fair job. It was a post construction deep clean I had to go back and remove some glue residue from the wood floor application. I was giving a small refund for one hour of service But was charged twice the amount originally quoted read more

I found Better Choice through Yelp and put in a request on their website, would've preferred to book and pay online but that's where all my complaints begin an end. Next business day I got a call from Kathy who was super accomodating amd helpful, she helped me schedule for a Saturday clean, and even helped me reschedule when I called back about 4 hours later. On cleaning day, I got a text 30 minutes before my assigned cleaning crew (two very efficient ladies) arrived, they looked around and then told me I would get a call when they were done. I got a text not 30 minutes later informing me of an estimated 4 hours clean time which was one hour less than I was quoted. 3:30 hours later I got a call telling me they'd be ready in 20 minutes. I drove down and the house was sparkling clean on the inside! Paid with my credit card and got a receipt through the email. Overall I would 100% recommend Better Choice Cleaning. If you can, ask for Alma, she did a phenomenal job. read more

A cleaning service that doesn't do a in home consultation ? A little sus if you ask me. Maybe there's other companies that don't either but anyone we used previously has always came to our home and listened to our expectations. So my rating isn't based on their actually cleaning provided. It's based on the lack of customer service provided from the beginning. Sad. Edit. As I'm looking For another cleaning service via yelp, here's the response I got from this company because they received an automated inquiry from me. Good luck to those who choose this company. Wow. read more

So it's been over a year now and my property was once again in need of a good cleaning. The last time it was to get it ready for a new tenant. Well this time I needed a more thorough, detailed cleaning. So I asked them for their extra detailing services. I needed windows inside and outside cleaned, along with oven and all of my cabinets. As this time I am trying to sell my property. I am getting ready for an open house and needed it in tip top condition. These guys did not let me down! They did a great job, and paid very close attention to detail. All of fans got the extra treatment. The carpet was covered in stains and they were able to get them all out. My shower had so much soap scum I forgot it was supposed to be clear! In the end, these guys delivered! If you need a cleaning service in Houston, call them up and you will not be disappointed. read more

Showed up on time, made my floors shine for the first time in a while, very efficient. The two tag-teamed and were great.

Needed my apartment deep clean after a move out and they were the first to respond and did the job well. It slipped my mind they were going that specific day and they made sure to call multiple times to get ahold of me. It felt nice to move out and not worry about that extra step. read more

When we hire people to work in our homes - and we are paying several hundred dollars for the service -- The owners should be able to dictate what "chores" need to be done. Picking and choosing what you will and wont do - IE: "we don't make beds" - will cost you customers -- It did this one. read more

I had a rental home deep cleaned and the carpets steamed. I was thrilled to find one company that could provide both services. They were super responsive, and they were incredibly nice to me when I rescheduled very last minute. It meant the world to me, because my move was delayed (complicated), and I was mortified to have ask to reschedule one day before the planned cleaning. Wow, they accommodated me, and they did a fantastic job on a really dirty house and carpets that I would've ripped out and thrown away long ago if it had been my home. Entire place looked and smelled great and looked CLEAN! I'm impressed by their work, and I'm thankful that they helped ease some of my stress during a chaotic move that didn't go as planned at nearly every turn. I definitely recommend them. Thank you, Better Choice Cleaning! read more

The service was only ok but not worth the $150 I spent. I live in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment that's a little over 1000 sq ft. The price doesn't even include carpet cleaning. The sinks weren't well cleaned around the faucets. I'm not sure if the bathtubs were even cleaned. The inside of the fridge was well cleaned and even organized, but the outside of the fridge and inside of my cabinets weren't cleaned at all even though thy were empty (I had just moved back in after spending the summer out of state). Additionally, my wax melter was broken. It was nice of her to organize my desk and remake my bed, but I wish a better job had been performed. Would not use this company again. read more

I originally booked Better Choice Cleaning for carpet cleaning, but after looking for a company to come out and do a move-out clean for us, they popped up and we booked for both services. Move-Out Cleaning- the girls were punctual, and professional. They let me know when they were done with each room. They were incredibly thorough. My husband is very picky about cleaning and was very impressed with their attention to detail. Carpet cleaning: again, very punctual. He walked us through what to expect and got after it! The carpets were in bad shape, but they restored them to a much better state! Pricing: truly hard to beat their pricing. They were competitive and quick to respond to all of my questions! We are now landlords, and will absolutely be using Better Choice Cleaning for future needs! read more

I have used many cleaning services within the last 17 years and I am please to say that Better Choice Cleaning Services is far better than any. In my line of field, cleaning residential properties is a high priority. I personally take cleaning and customer service very seriously. First to start with is Cathy, who does all of the booking, organizing appointments and first impressions for the company. She has excellent customer service and has went out of her way repeatedly to make sure I was taken care of. The cleaners will show up on time and will send you a tracker via text letting you know when they arrive and when they are leaving. They are very detailed with cleaning from top to bottom. They also clean quickly as possible without sacrificing the quality of cleaning. I personally had a difficult (high maintenance) client that was ready to nitpick the cleaning on one of my properties. They have been in the property for almost 4 months and after moving in, they have been very pleased with Better Choice Cleaning Services WITH NO COMPLAINTS!! The tenants actually raved how good of a job the cleaners are doing... Wow! That was priceless. If you are considering hiring Better Choice Cleaning Services definitely hire them and thank me later.... read more

The two women who came to clean my home were nice but they did a very mediocre job! Definitely not worth the $230 price. In the bathrooms, countertops weren't cleaned well, I found soap marks left that I easily removed after going behind them. I could tell they just ran a cloth over it and kept moving. The baseboards looked untouched all throughout the house. Again, cloth ran across it but wasn't actually cleaned. I was also expecting things to be put away / trash thrown away. For example, the office had an empty coffee cup and juice bottle from working very late the night before. They were still sitting on the desk after the room was cleaned. Same for other items around the house. The tile floors were vacuumed, so there were small things left, and I had to sweep after. It also seemed like the last 30-45mins was a lot of standing and looking for things to "touch". I got the feeling they were trying to hit the 4-hour estimate. read more
