They came out ASAP since it was one of those situations that can't wait for long. They came out on time and were super friendly. They worked hard to get the cushions clean. We just had our carpets, sofa and outdoor pool furniture cleaned by H Town Steam. The sofa and outdoor furniture look brand new. The carpets look great too. The young man who did our job was polite, professional and did such great work. We will definitely use them again. The only suggestion I make is to make sure you are clear with them what you want done. They asked for a picture of my sofa. They gave me a quote and then charged me extra for the pillows on the sofa once they got here. They also upped the price for "enzyme treatments" in the steam cleaner which I hope they actually used. In the beginning I thought technician did a good job; however because I am having other work done on my house I was able to do better inspection. With some furniture and appliances being moved, I have found several problems: Old rusted vent covers were reinstalled. a couple of the covers not screwed properly so ones on ceiling look like they will fall. the dryer vent cleaning was a joke. Once dryer was pulled out there was an abundance of lint on the vents. Thank you. read more

This is not a review to tell you not to use H-Town Steam but this is how things turned out on our 1985 sq ft of tile. They use some sort of product to help with the cleaning of the tile/grout.  It was mixed in a bottle with water.  The contents were just dumped/splashed on the floor to be gone over with a scrubbing apparatus that laid down water as well. The water was then supposed to be sucked back up into their truck. Cleaning appeared to go well. And then the floors started to dry. Later in the evening and into the next day we continued to find a white residue in many areas of the house. There were places throughout the house where the water was not vacuumed up, which would appear to be a problem with their system. When the cleaning mixture was dumped on the floor, it splashed up on the lower kitchen cabinets as well as the cabinets in two bathrooms. And it doesn't wipe off easily. Why not use a garden type sprayer to have more control where the mixture is going? We had to clean the floors twice as we kept finding more residue. For the money spent, we should not have had to clean floors again for a week. There was some dirty grout in high traffic areas that did not come clean. We mentioned this issue when they came out to the house to do the original estimate and we came away with the impression there would be improvement.  Not so much. I think the company means well, but the process is a little out of whack or the equipment was just not able to do the job. read more

H-Town cleaned a chair that was my late fathers. It had beyond normal wear. It's had more surface stains than clean fabric. They called ahead of time. They showed up earlier and waited. They cleaned the chair, put an air dryer out while cleaning up. They inspected the chair inch by inch with my wife. Bottom line they did a great job of restoring my dads chair. For the most part the stains came out. But my technician Eddie had a bad attitude and said I had cat urine when my cat doesn't pee on the stairs. There was a soda stain that didn't come out fully, and I've worked with another company that got a soda stain out. Called and left message, they quickly returned my call. Asked price to clean 38' 5th wheel carpets less than 200 sq feet. Said they do these all the time and price would be $100. They spot clean and steam clean carpets. Made appointment and when Tech arrived said needed a heavy cleaning and enzyme treatment for an additional $100. Said quote was $100 and they pretreat. Total would be $200. Was not happy with the additional fee but being they were here, said go ahead. He pretreated carpet and said needed to wait 15 minutes for enzymes to kill bacteria, then raked all the carpet. Spent about 30 minutes steam cleaning. Asked if happy and said meet pads to put under the furniture. He gave me about 20 pads, as aid not enough as table and 4 chairs was 20 he said all he had. I do have to admit the carpets looked great when he was finished. When they called and asked if happy with service said great job cleaning but upset about up charges. She said thatI should have called and she would of have made adjustment but being I paid could not adjust, I think that $1 per square foot for cleaning is really expensive but that they did an excellent job of cleaning the carpets. read more
