I needed two rooms and a living room steam cleaned that did not been cleaned in probably 10 years. Also, my stairs had not been cleaned since 2005 and it's had 15 grandbabies and five kids and two dogs going up and down and spilling on them and they were just disgusting. So I called Steam Master and they sent Michael and Jacob over, and oh my gosh my stairs look like new again. They did such a great job. I've asked for them to stop calling me and I will call them for my next service. The initial carpet clean was fine. I got this service done about 2 or so years ago. When this service was done, I didn't want to pay extra for the steaming of the walls and the guy who was there said "Don't worry, I've got you covered" as if I wouldn't have to pay but I had to pay anyways. That's not the reason for the review. I think the service done was expensive but great. The 1 star is because for the entire 2 years I get calls, I get letters in the mail, etc. - I have requested them to please stop contacting me so often or at least stick to just one form of contact and yet they won't stop. Yes, their service is good, expensive, but good, but my goodness, please give me a break man. The only reason I'm not using them again is because they won't stop. Yes I've blocked them but their mail is still getting in and so are the voicemails. At this point I'm annoyed and would like the company to respect how I feel and stop contacting me on all these platforms, please and thank you. They should stick to cleaning.... They sold us on wood sealant and strip old sealant because it would last longer and look better. Guaranteed we wouldn't need to touch it for 5 years for another cleaning. 6 months later we notice discoloration, fading, and splintering when we had no issues with previous coating. Asked for help when we keep noticing more failures as the months passed and solution and all they offered was discount to do it all over again and claimed warranty is only 30 days when told otherwise by their techs. They sent a tech with no experience followed by the original installer which sympathized but said hands were tied. Finally were offered a "credit" for future service for $150 when we were charged close to $2,000. Horrible service and the obviously don't care about helping their customers. Happy to sell you but not committed to answering complaints. Found two other service companies that both informed us of shotty work that was done. read more
