Jose recently regrouted and sealed our custom shower area, including the curved glass block wall. He did an amazing job. It looks better than it did originally. The biggest surprise is that he cleaned up all the fine dust afterwards. We used Sir Grout recently to clean the lime calcium buildup on our granite countertops in our kitchen and bathrooms. We tried to clean it ourselves without much success. We also had an issue on one of our bath countertop when we used Lime Out that ended up damaging the granite even more. The guys cleaned the slate with the hose and told me that it's gonna take time for the water to dry out so he hand me the sealant he said I'm leaving and when the water dries out you just easily apply the sealant with a cloth and the job will be done. They left my furniture lying on the grass And he said that the other guy already left and he cant put the furniture back. My mother n law needed her countertops sealed. The initial consultation was with Mark; he came out, seemed great, gave us a quote. Mark told her to give him a call when she wanted to get on the schedule. She called him over and over again, left messages, he never called back. My husband called him, he never returned any of the calls. He even butt dialed my husband, he answered, kept saying hello..... the phone hung up, Mark never called back. My husband called him, it went to voicemail, he left a message, never heard back from him. My mother n law called the office to ask for him and to let them know that Mark would not return her calls. The staff said they'd have him call her.......never happened. My mother n law finally had to make the actual appt through the office by telling the staff that he won't return her call that she needs to make an appt through the office instead. On the actual appt day, (Monday) the time was set for 1pm. At 1:30 pm no one had shown up or called yet. She called the office and asked where the guys were. They said they'd have Mark call her because he was in charge of the guys. Mark of course NEVER called, he never does. Almost an hour later, she called back and said that Mark never called. They said they'd have Mark call her, she said no because he never calls back...,She said she wanted the owner to call her instead. The owner called her and she explained all that had happened. He told her that the worker had an emergency and couldn't make it but he promised her that the job would be completed tomorrow at 2:30 pm (Tuesday). Tuesday rolled around, while my mother n law was in the shower, they showed up at 12pm (2 1/2 hours early), they rang the door bell, she of course couldn't hear it. They called from an unknown number and didn't even leave a message. At 1:30 pm they called her and said that they showed up and she wasn't home. She said that she had never even left the house. She asked them why they came 2 1/2 hours early and why didn't they call her ahead of time to let her know. They said they did call, but it was the worker's phone and they didn't leave a message. She then asked them if they were coming back and the owner told her that they were already on another job (at this time they were on another job during her scheduled appt. the owner who PROMISED it would be done today (Tuesday) said no one could come until the next day. He said he PROMISED it would be done tomorrow (Wednesday). At that point she was fed up for having now WAISTED TWO days waiting for a company to show up that cannot keep a promise from the sales consultant, to the office staff, all the way up to the owner! My husband decided to take time off of work and do her countertops himself. They look wonderful! The simple lack of communication, lack of respect, lack of customer service! read more

Courtney (owner) came out and quoted the job. The day of the work the 2 man crew was an hour late. No uniforms, no shoe bootees. Only one guy could speak any English and he would just shake his head. They were to do two bathrooms. They started in the master. I ask them about the dust from the grout grinding. He had a bag on the grinder and a small vac. I went back in about a half hour and there was white dust covering every thing in the bath, our bed room and living room. I talked to the one guy about sealing the doors with plastic. He when out to the truck and brought some in. But, the damaged was done. I call the office and Courtney's husband call be back. He started arguing with me about the dust. They never had this problem before. He has to see it. The furniture in the bedroom was covered with white dust, but he did believe the bedding had dust. So, he finally agreed to a $200 discount to have our home detailed in the effected rooms. It took them from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM to complete the jobs. Nice work, but now I have a mess. I would not recommend this company. Obviously a lack of training and a owner that is very rude. read more

We really felt the most comfortable with their knowledge and recommendations but the price was a bit too much in comparison to other quotes. Sir Grout did NOT deliver what they promised. The employee came one hour late (appointment was between 8 and ten and he came at 11:15). He spent one hour outside, washing his van making "as if" he was preparing. He did not do a good job.The floors look worse now and besides they did not take good care of preparation and scratched all molding which now need to be re-painted. They promised to come and fix and after a month I'm still waiting. I do NOT recommend this company! read more

We used Sir Grout of Houston today to change our grout color from a very light color to a tobacco brown. We had to fix the work of a poor contractor who let dirt mix with the grout and ended up with uneven grout color. We decided to recolor the grout after Ron the Sir Grout sales representative spent lots of time demonstrated us their unique grout color seal. On our scheduled day, Steve worked from 10 to 7:30! He clean, recolored our kitchen, breakfast room and restroom tile grout which looks great and new now. He also sanded and polished our marble entry floors, did a lot of taping, cleaning for preparing the job, and he even took out the threshold and the storage room door before starting the work. Steve is very detail-oriented and has excellent work ethic. Our marble floor looks like a mirror now, very shining and beautiful! The first time was an ok job and I would not have given even 3 stars, as a spot in the shower was missed, the original manager who had quoted me was no longer with the company (so I had been emailing no one for a good week until I called), and it was a bit sloppy.
