This is a long overdue review. I used their services back in spring of 2023. This was after I had…read morecalled several other companies which didn't call me back and one sent someone but they just looked at it and never contacted us again, and another never showed up. I read lots of amazing reviews on Mundae and requested a service. They were so responsive and talked me through the process. It wasn't long before someone came out to take several tests that consist of an air sample outside and inside and an actual sample of the mold, and a walk around to see if they spot more mold anywhere else. The report came back quick and scheduling of the mold remediation was quick. 3 workers were sent and it took half a day total since it was just our upstairs that needed it. Everyone we encountered was friendly, kind, and informative. Responsive whether it was text, phone call, or email. Appreciate the speediness in which the issue was resolved and felt very pleased with the service. Also I can report back that since then no more mold has appeared. I highly recommend them and have their info saved in case I need them in the future but honestly I hope I really don't.

It gave me 2 additional contractors since primary one failed to respond. Within minutes, I started chatting with Jay F from A+fforable on Yelp app. It took a little effort but really efficient to get it done. I guess it's called "Virtual Consultation" during Covid-19 pandemic. Within 2 hours, I got a quote and secured an appointment. I immediately contacted my insurance agent to start a claim. On my first day meeting Austin for damage assessment, he brought Wilmer to start water mitigation. Austin is the supervisor, as you already know from other reviews. He quickly setup dehumidifier, fan and heavy-duty HEPA air purifier. In the same week, they came back with another helper Juan to perform tear out and sprayed fungicide to kill molds and checking for additional damage. I want to share my experience based on my initial connection before this review gets too long. Next thing is to rebuild my room. Having to wait on my insurance claim approval. In this modern age, hard to find a reliable contractor and someone easy to get alone. I will use A+fforable to help me to get my life back to completion.

I called a plumber who was excellent--thorough, professional, and informative. After about 1.5 hours, he determined it was likely a "sweating" air duct and suggested I contact a specialist. I called Air Quality Express, and a technician named David arrived on 8-21-26. He was here for a total of five minutes, no joke. He went into the attic, I heard some movement, and two minutes later he came back. When I asked if he found anything, he said, "No, can't see anything, have to cut the wall (sheetrock)." I asked about the air ducts in that area, and he replied, "I can't see behind the walls." He used a moisture detector, which left two holes in my wall. He was very quiet, hard to understand, explained nothing to me and gone in minutes. Worst service experience I've ever had--they really live up to the "Express" part of their name. Five minutes, no answers, no solutions, and gone. Won't be calling them again. Why do I feel like he might have sabotaged something in the attic?

They gave me the best price to install my new roof and I very happy with the job they did. I have hired them to remodel my kitchen, install new lights, ceiling fans, replace damage hardiplank, trim and paint the outside of my home and do some inside painting. Also to install a new front and back door. They have given me the best pricing and will be using them for several other jobs I am planning. Entire wood floor and stair steps repaired and completely stained a new color. Gutters cleaned. Outside wood paneling painted. We traded messages about what I was looking for and set up a time for him to come out and give me an estimate. The estimate seemed fair and, more importantly, Luis had done projects like this before. So I decided to move forward. In the meantime, I was getting new carpeting in the room and at the last minute I decided the room should get painted before the installation date. Luis was able to move somethings around to accommodate me. He also took great care of protecting my furniture and the new carpet from paint and dust. The end result of this project completely exceeded my expectations! I literally handed Luis a sketch I made on ChatGPT and he and Carlos executed it beautifully. They even left the inside edges uncaulked because I'm 50% sure I'll install wallpaper panels at some point. Throughout the project, Luis made it clear that he wanted me to be completely satisfied. There was a small issue that he could have easily covered up but he brought it to my attention and discussed how it should be fixed. There's the lazy way to do something and the right way - Luis and Carlos definitely did it the right way! One more thing I want to add is that Luis is an excellent communicator!
