I couldn't be more pleased with the work and service I experienced with Larry's team. I was refinancing my home and had an incomplete construction project that needed to be completed immediately and they came to my rescue (the project was adding 2 types of flashing and shingles to a new awning). I was surprised by how expensive another bid was, but because I was notified over the weekend of the need to do this project (and I was closing on Monday), I thought I was going to be stuck going with the other company. Larry responded immediately and was incredibly responsive. He was able to give me a quick bid based on photos and came out Monday morning to complete the project at a very reasonable cost. He also took the time to explain to me everything that needed to be done and why it costed what it did. The other companies I reached out to either never responded to me or needed to come out and visit to provide a bid and then would have taken several more days to complete the project, which I didn't have. The results turned out fantastic and match my existing shingles very well- my only regret is that we replaced our roof in 2019 and didn't get him to do it! read more

There's a Hawaii and a mainland outfit with the same name...I used the Hawaii guys based on a referral from my neighbor who also did her commercial property and her home. The owner misquoted the job based on his drive by but stuck with it regardless although you could see that his sons (the workers) were not real happy. I need to get them back on the roof because although they used 1" shingles, the insurance company wants the shingles treated and they want pictures. read more

Highly recommended. I called three roofing contractors. One gave me an estimate to replace the roof over the phone. Another came out to see it, but didn't bring a ladder so he couldn't see the roof. He promised a quote to replace the roof within 2 days, but never sent it. Larry came out, with a ladder, inspected the roof, and said it still has a few years of life in it and just needs maintenance in the form of re-painting and re-sealing all the vents. He saved me a lot of money, and using things until they're unusable is better for the environment. I really appreciated Larry's advice and his work. read more

I moved into a 3 story house over a year ago and was having difficulty getting someone to inspect the roof. Also I was suspicious of a duct tape contraption in the attic that was supposed to be a fix for an issue with the dryer vent, which was vented through the roof. Larry and his team were able to come out and diagnose the issue immediately and reroute the dryer vent out the wall instead. The roof had beginning stages of rot from the moisture that had slowly been leaking over the years. The duct was clogged at the roofline and was a fire hazard as well as being a general mess. Absolutely the best leak detective in Texas. My house was built 4 years ago. In that time, the roof has leaked in various places throughout the house. My house is under warranty and the leaks were driving me and my builders crazy trying to solve them. After almost 4 years, I finally gave up on the builders being able to solve the leaks and tried Edwards based on the reviews. In the first 5 minutes of inspecting the roof, he knew what was wrong. He told me exactly what the problem was, made a quote and guaranteed the roof to not leak for the next two years. Not only was he inexpensive, he was fast and very flexible with my weird schedule. He took photos of everything to show me his work since he knew I wasn't going to climb up there myself. He also corrected a siding issue I had FREE while he was working on the roof. He didn't have to do that, but he did. He said the siding issue may have eventually caused a leak, so he just wanted to prevent that! It was a problem I already knew about but didn't mention to him and he just fixed for me for free while he was fixing the roof! I didn't even know they did siding, so I would never have brought it up. These guys have won me over forever. This house has been leak free for months now. A father- son duo showed up a little early (not from Houston originally, so they care about service) to fix my leaking roof. Showed the son where the leaks were showing up in my ceiling, and he took measurements so he could pin point where on the roof to look. He also searched in my attic, too. To repair water leak from the roof at my 3-story house, I contacted several roofers and get multiple estimates. After looking into the options, I decided to hire Edwards Roofing company, and I am glad I did so. Here is the reasons I picked them. 1. Larry (Edward) was the only one who went up to the 3-story tall roof to accurately diagnose the problem when he came by for estimate. (Some roofers used a drone to see it and other didn't even bother to see it- and I couldn't trust them). Most roofers concerned about reaching to the roof because the front side is 4-story height (it requires a 4-story ladder) and the backyard is too small to set a 3-story ladders. But Larry didn't raise any if those concerns just set up the ladder and went up. He is a pro. 2. He allowed me to make an informed decision. He explained the problem in detail. Also, his written estimate was very well-itemized. With this verbal & written communication, a lay person like me could understand the cause of the issue and the required actions. 3. Bought our house new and it's now only 3 years old, but developed a small leak via one of the roof vents. We had a couple of companies come to quote for the work to repair the leak and we were especially happy with the honest, straightforward manner that Larry investigated the problem and his quote to carry out the repair was fair. Edwards were not the first to arrive as they were already busy, but when they did come, they had a van with a ladder to get onto the roof and check it over properly and he had a team with him so they were able to do the job there and then. The first company to visit sent just one guy in a car with a drone to fly over the roof and take a look (not necessarily the best way to check), couldn't work on the roof for over a week and wanted to up-sell new "accessories" for the roof. Thankfully, Larry tells it as it is, with no sales department following up for extras and he just quotes for the work that actually needs doing. His team checked over my whole roof and made sure we are water tight again. They did the job quickly with no mess, no fuss, no problems and no nonsense. When all was done, it cost us less than a quarter of what the first company had quoted! Fantastic experience. I recently purchased a townhouse with a roof that was more than halfway through its life, and the inspection report noted several problems with it. These guys have been in the roofing business for a long time; they're a father and son pair that know what they're doing. They're also very honest, because the other quotes I got just said I need a new roof while Larry took a quick look and said he could patch it up no problem. I had a weird leak that was going from the roof all the way down to the first floor bathroom (I live in a 3 story townhome). Turns out there was vent that goes all the way up to the roof that was damaged during one of the severe rainstorms that Houston's known for. Although it did take a while for them to come out to inspect the leak because they were in the hospital due to an accident, it was every bit worth the wait since the alternative would have been to replace the roof with another company. After the initial inspection Larry was out again to do the work within 5 days and got the job done in about 3-4 hours.
