Larry previously 'repaired' a place on my roof. My painter then repainted inside. A few months later, I discovered more water stain on a bathroom ceiling we seldom use. Larry came back out, did something, and charged me again. I had to pay my painter to fix this area and it wasn't cheap - and I complained to Larry. Since it's all related. He balked. Now I have discovered a water stain in the corner of my garage ceil - again same roof area. Larry made 3(!) appts but failed to show. And now he has walked. Long story short - skip this company! They say they warranty their work...but they don't! And they are NOT cheap!!! read more

I am updating my original review from 2022 now four years later. Larry is still the best! He got out to us quickly to address a leak in our roof - beating an incoming rain storm. He was very thorough and provided me with tons of photos of the work he did on the roof. He was also great at communicating and keeping me up to date leading up to and during the repairs. I can't recommend him enough! read more

First time using these guys but will definitely call them first with any other project I need. I'm actually having them come back to do preventative maintenance work just because I had such a good experience. I had a leak coming from my rooftop patio and thought it might be the roofing but they helped me find the problem (broken down siding) and it was a much easier fix than I thought. Honesty seems to be important to them and that's really important to me when finding a contractor. Thanks guys, looking forward to working with you again. read more

I'm in the process of selling my 4-story townhouse, and right after an open house and receiving an offer, I noticed an old water stain in my kids' closet while clearing out clothes. I hadn't been in there in years, so it was a bit of a shock, and I was worried it might derail the sale. I posted a roofing project on Yelp, and Larry responded first, which was a huge relief. He came by the next day with his team, who have an impressive 71 years of combined experience. They quickly found the issue--a loose dryer vent--and fixed it on the spot. They also resealed all 15 vents and flashing across the roof to prevent future problems. The team worked efficiently, and the price was fair, which I really appreciated given the tight timeline. According to Larry's website, he's the expert other pros call when they can't track down a leak, and I can see why--his team nailed it. He even provided a transferable warranty, which gave me peace of mind and ensured the home sale went smoothly. Thanks to Larry and his crew, what could've been a major hassle was handled with ease. I'd definitely recommend him for any roofing needs! read more

This is the second time I have dealt with Larry Edwards and I must echo the previous reviews, in that he is a man of integrity who stands behind his work. You will not go wrong when dealing with Larry. Quality work at a fair price, a (rare) roofer you can trust. read more

Fast response. Excellent service. So happy to have found a reliable and trustworthy roofer with experience. Thank you Larry!

This is the 2nd time I've hired Edwards to repair a leaky spot on my roof. Each time they have been good at communication, arrive when promised and deliver the work they proposed. This is a great way to do business! read more

I couldn't be more pleased with the work and service I experienced with Larry's team. I was refinancing my home and had an incomplete construction project that needed to be completed immediately and they came to my rescue (the project was adding 2 types of flashing and shingles to a new awning). I was surprised by how expensive another bid was, but because I was notified over the weekend of the need to do this project (and I was closing on Monday), I thought I was going to be stuck going with the other company. Larry responded immediately and was incredibly responsive. He was able to give me a quick bid based on photos and came out Monday morning to complete the project at a very reasonable cost. He also took the time to explain to me everything that needed to be done and why it costed what it did. The other companies I reached out to either never responded to me or needed to come out and visit to provide a bid and then would have taken several more days to complete the project, which I didn't have. The results turned out fantastic and match my existing shingles very well- my only regret is that we replaced our roof in 2019 and didn't get him to do it! read more

Absolutely love Larry, he's been working on our roof for years. We had recently had about 30 shingles be blown off from the storms. He not only came right over to look at it but fixed it same day for an amazing price. Can't recommend enough! read more

We had Larry Edwards come out to install 4= 14inch turbine vents and reseal our chimney. He was the first roofer that actually contacted us after we called him. I never even received call backs from multiple roofing companies! We were pleased with his ability to communicate and schedule within a reasonable time even though they were super busy! We appreciated their thoroughness and ability to complete the work in a reasonable time frame. We will definitely use them again for any additional roof issues. Definitely give them a call! read more

Very responsive, efficient, and cost-effective. I will definitely use Edwards Roofing in the future.

There's a Hawaii and a mainland outfit with the same name...I used the Hawaii guys based on a referral from my neighbor who also did her commercial property and her home. The owner misquoted the job based on his drive by but stuck with it regardless although you could see that his sons (the workers) were not real happy. I need to get them back on the roof because although they used 1" shingles, the insurance company wants the shingles treated and they want pictures. read more

Larry was/is everything I want in a contractor. Polite, professional, honors my time, explains thoroughly, very fair priced, and I will be using them again and recommending. My tenant at my rent house reported a leak and after being jerked around by another company I reached out to Larry. Great decision. Arrived on time, followed instructions, made the repair and sent before, during and after pics as requested. All done in under an hour. read more

Great service and work from Larry fixing a couple of leaks in my roof and weatherproofing the pipes and vents. Thank you

I had a leak in my roof, so contacted Edwards for a quote. They came out the next day and quickly diagnosed the issue with a couple of vents. They were back out a few days later to complete the repairs and did an excellent job. He showed me pictures of the work and it looks great. But most importantly, our roof is now leak free! And the price was very reasonable. I definitely recommend Edwards Roofing for any roof issues! read more

I moved into a 3 story house over a year ago and was having difficulty getting someone to inspect the roof. Also I was suspicious of a duct tape contraption in the attic that was supposed to be a fix for an issue with the dryer vent, which was vented through the roof. Larry and his team were able to come out and diagnose the issue immediately and reroute the dryer vent out the wall instead. The roof had beginning stages of rot from the moisture that had slowly been leaking over the years. The duct was clogged at the roofline and was a fire hazard as well as being a general mess. Larry documented the entire process from start to finish at my request so that I would have peace of mind and coii hi Le explain to a future homeowner if needed. The team was efficient, and I am completely confident in the end result. read more

Highly recommended. I called three roofing contractors. One gave me an estimate to replace the roof over the phone. Another came out to see it, but didn't bring a ladder so he couldn't see the roof. He promised a quote to replace the roof within 2 days, but never sent it. Larry came out, with a ladder, inspected the roof, and said it still has a few years of life in it and just needs maintenance in the form of re-painting and re-sealing all the vents. He saved me a lot of money, and using things until they're unusable is better for the environment. I really appreciated Larry's advice and his work. read more

I had such a a great experience with Edwards. He was very prompt with providing a quote and proposal. The proposal was also very competitive compared to others. When I accepted the proposal, he was able to start work the very next day, and they finished the roofing repairs before the rain came in that afternoon. Quality work and awesome service! read more

I've talked with about 10 different roofing companies in the last 2-3 years, and done business with 3-4 of them. Edwards is the only one I'll be working with going forward. Communication was excellent. Service was perfect. Price was very competitive. I'm still in shock of how well our transaction went. read more

I give Edwards Roofing Contractors the owner Larry Edwards the highest recommendation! I found Edwards Roofing Contractors through his outstanding reviews on Yelp as well as referred by another roofing company due to my high roof. The owner Larry Edwards does excellent work, highly experienced and a roofing specialist with integrity. He treats his customers as well as his employees like family with great care and respect, which is rare to see. Larry is very honest with his professional opinions. His prices are absolutely affordable. He also provides lots of before and after pictures for roof repairs. Larry even went the extra mile to remove a poor little dead bird for me in my front yard after roof repair work was done. He is my go-to roof repair specialist from now on. I am grateful for Larry! read more

Had water sipping out on the top of side wall. Contacted five roofing repair company for inspection and estimate. Edwards roofing contractor was the chosen one. The leader of the company, Larry, gave us a thorough explanation on the inspection and fair cost estimate. Their works were prompt and precise, as well as good quality. Besides, Larry was easy to work with and flexible in dealing with customer's need. I had plenty of contractors on line to choose from, but I am glad Larry was the one! read more

Highest recommendation for Edwards Roofing! When selecting a contractor, you want someone who will do good work at a reasonable price. Edwards Roofing gets high marks on both of these. In addition to that, it is great to work with a contractor with integrity! Edwards Roofing stands by their work and are pleasant to deal with. 10 stars! read more

I have a very tall townhome that caused issues for the three different roofing companies I contacted before Edwards Roofing. After being stood up by another roofing company I called Edwards roofing and clearly there is a reason they have 5 stars? 100% professional, courteous, did what he said he would do, texted me pictures of completed work. Larry & his team came first thing the morning to evaluate a hole on my roof. They arrived on time & quickly completed the evaluation. I really appreciated his efficiency & all the photos he provided both before & after the repair. I would highly recommend working with Larry & his team! read more

Absolutely the best leak detective in Texas. My house was built 4 years ago. In that time, the roof has leaked in various places throughout the house. My house is under warranty and the leaks were driving me and my builders crazy trying to solve them. After almost 4 years, I finally gave up on the builders being able to solve the leaks and tried Edwards based on the reviews. In the first 5 minutes of inspecting the roof, he knew what was wrong. He told me exactly what the problem was, made a quote and guaranteed the roof to not leak for the next two years. Not only was he inexpensive, he was fast and very flexible with my weird schedule. He took photos of everything to show me his work since he knew I wasn't going to climb up there myself. He also corrected a siding issue I had FREE while he was working on the roof. He didn't have to do that, but he did. He said the siding issue may have eventually caused a leak, so he just wanted to prevent that! It was a problem I already knew about but didn't mention to him and he just fixed for me for free while he was fixing the roof! I didn't even know they did siding, so I would never have brought it up. These guys have won me over forever. This house has been leak free for months now. I know he solved it and I am finally able to calm down and not worry when it rains. The reviews were right. Edwards is the absolute best! read more

A father- son duo showed up a little early (not from Houston originally, so they care about service) to fix my leaking roof. Showed the son where the leaks were showing up in my ceiling, and he took measurements so he could pin point where on the roof to look. He also searched in my attic, too. Larry, the son, climbed my roof, took his time looking and found two defects from the original installation. We agreed on a price, and both repairs were made. These guys are prompt, professional, and they garantee their works. And the best part is NO leaks. I would crap on my builder (Tricon), but those con artists are already bankrupt. read more

To repair water leak from the roof at my 3-story house, I contacted several roofers and get multiple estimates. After looking into the options, I decided to hire Edwards Roofing company, and I am glad I did so. Here is the reasons I picked them. 1. Larry (Edward) was the only one who went up to the 3-story tall roof to accurately diagnose the problem when he came by for estimate. (Some roofers used a drone to see it and other didn't even bother to see it- and I couldn't trust them). Most roofers concerned about reaching to the roof because the front side is 4-story height (it requires a 4-story ladder) and the backyard is too small to set a 3-story ladders. But Larry didn't raise any if those concerns just set up the ladder and went up. He is a pro. 2. He allowed me to make an informed decision. He explained the problem in detail. Also, his written estimate was very well-itemized. With this verbal & written communication, a lay person like me could understand the cause of the issue and the required actions. 3. Last but not least, pricing was reasonable. Also, they provide 2-year warranty for their service. If you are looking for a trustworthy roofer for 3/4 story house, contact Larry. read more

I echo the sentiments of other 5 star reviewers! Larry came right out when we called. He diagnosed the problem quickly gave us an estimate. I am a visual person, so I appreciate that he took pictures every step of the way. From the pictures, I was able to see what the problem was, and also how nice it looked after the repair. I don't believe many roofing contractors work on 3 story houses. I'm so glad Larry does, and that he is the one we chose to do business with. I highly recommend Edwards Roofing! read more

Out 3 companies I contacted, they were the only one to get back with me. On top of that they were prompt showing up. I was reaching out ti see if I am in need of a new roof, they could have easily just told me I need a new roof, but instead they were honest and told me the roof looks good and just needed some maintenance. Anyone willing to put long term relationships before profits, I will be doing business with them whenever possible. read more

I can't say enough great things about my experience with Edwards Roofing. Ditto to many of the comments others have made. After countless issues with other roofers not fixing the issue correctly, I found Edwards Roofing through their great reviews on yelp. Larry and his team came out and quickly found the root of the problem. They completed the work that same day and gave me an honest fair price. Also a two year warranty on that same leak. I highly recommend them for any of your roofing needs! read more

Bought our house new and it's now only 3 years old, but developed a small leak via one of the roof vents. We had a couple of companies come to quote for the work to repair the leak and we were especially happy with the honest, straightforward manner that Larry investigated the problem and his quote to carry out the repair was fair. Edwards were not the first to arrive as they were already busy, but when they did come, they had a van with a ladder to get onto the roof and check it over properly and he had a team with him so they were able to do the job there and then. The first company to visit sent just one guy in a car with a drone to fly over the roof and take a look (not necessarily the best way to check), couldn't work on the roof for over a week and wanted to up-sell new "accessories" for the roof. Thankfully, Larry tells it as it is, with no sales department following up for extras and he just quotes for the work that actually needs doing. His team checked over my whole roof and made sure we are water tight again. They did the job quickly with no mess, no fuss, no problems and no nonsense. When all was done, it cost us less than a quarter of what the first company had quoted! We will definitely continue using Edwards for all our roofing needs and highly recommend them to anyone needing an honest, hard working tradesman. read more

Fantastic experience. I recently purchased a townhouse with a roof that was more than halfway through its life, and the inspection report noted several problems with it. I emailed Larry for a quote, and he responded with a detailed breakdown of the fixes he recommended (and ones he did not recommend at this time). He and his crew arrived right on time, provided before and after photos of all portions of the roof, and their work was meticulous and detailed. I will definitely be contacting them when the entire roof needs to be replaced down the road-- highly recommended! read more

I had a number of issues with my roof including a leak. Larry and his crew did an excellent job with repairs and maintenance. You would normally expect to get 2 out of quality, quick, reasonably priced contractors. However, Edwards Roofing excelled at all 3 of those which is a very rare combination these days. I was very pleased with the service and decided to hire them for my rental place roof repairs where they did equally as great. read more

These guys have been in the roofing business for a long time; they're a father and son pair that know what they're doing. They're also very honest, because the other quotes I got just said I need a new roof while Larry took a quick look and said he could patch it up no problem. I had a weird leak that was going from the roof all the way down to the first floor bathroom (I live in a 3 story townhome). Turns out there was vent that goes all the way up to the roof that was damaged during one of the severe rainstorms that Houston's known for. Although it did take a while for them to come out to inspect the leak because they were in the hospital due to an accident, it was every bit worth the wait since the alternative would have been to replace the roof with another company. After the initial inspection Larry was out again to do the work within 5 days and got the job done in about 3-4 hours. I would absolutely recommend this company due to their honesty, experience, and professionalism, things that are pretty hard to find nowadays. read more
