The Sunday buffet delivered great service, food is DELICIOUS, and Ambience is very nice. I sat at the bar so could hear India music. I I highly recommend.

I'm always on the hunt for a good Indian food restaurant and Guru Palace did not disappoint. We sat at the bar and were able to order and get our food quickly. The butter chicken and the aloo gobi were both delicious and had a good spice level to them. The garlic naan was so so good. You could tell it was homemade. Good option for Indian food in Mesa.

Got Guru Palace delivered on my lunch break. The Tandoori Chicken was all I ordered and I was pretty satisfied with it. It came fast and was still piping hot. Chicken was good quality and sauce was seasoned well. Lots of vegetables that were cooked properly. Tasted pretty authentic. Would order from GP again.

This review is based on my Uber Eats orders. I have now ordered twice, and both times were consistently great! The food is packaged very nicely, as to avoid spills. You could even re-use the containers if you wanted to. Now let's get to the food. I ordered the Paneer Tikka Massala, with some garlic Naan for dippin. The Tikka Massala was sooooo creamy and delicious! The naan was buttery and flavorful. I very much look forward to going in person and trying out the buffet they offer.

This restaurant is my next door neighbor and wow is it good. Usually I take my food to go but I brought some friends because they are usually pretty picky with Indian food but both of them loved it. They have lots of great vegetarian options and the service was great. They also have a bar and patio that is nice to sit and eat at in cooler months.

We loved the plates and the serving dishes because of the charm we thought they had. Now they use these more American looking serving dishes that are just a huge bummer and look stale. But the reason why we came was because of the flavor, the seasoning was delicious. Now it tastes watered down. Like there is less cumin and a few other spices? Perhaps. Our favorite dish was the gobi Manchurian, we used to come because of how good it used to be. Now even that has lost its flavor. Even the cauliflower that was used today looked sad and watered down. With the prices that have gone up dramatically, the food losing its flavor, and the charm gone from the serving dishes I'm sad to say we won't come back. We were okay paying even double if it was just the same as before. Now you could NOT even pay me to eat here. I want to add that I think their customer service is great, the staff is always friendly, so it has nothing to do with that. Just the changes someone chose to make. My family and I are really sad because we feel like we've lost our favorite restaurant and now we have to find a new place. I hope everyone else enjoys the changes because we do not.

After my most recent visit, I don't think I'll be back. We went about an hour after they opened, and the buffet was already in bad shape. The chicken tikka masala tray was practically empty, and we had to fish around just to find a few small pieces of chicken. The rice was hard, like it had been sitting for a long time instead of being freshly made. They also got rid of the carrot dessert that used to be on the buffet (one of my favorites), so even the selection isn't the same anymore. The drinks and desserts were just as disappointing. The mango lassi was chunky and weird instead of smooth and creamy, and the rice pudding was so thin and liquidy it was almost like sweet milk. The only good thing was the naan bread, which was still warm and tasted fine. The staff has completely changed too. The younger guy with the beard and turban who used to be there is gone, and now it's a bunch of older guys who don't seem to know what they're doing. They weren't outright rude, but they seemed confused and not very engaged, and the buffet clearly wasn't being watched or refilled properly. This is not the India Oven I remember. Everything from the food to the staff has changed for the worse, and the overall experience felt sloppy and honestly a little gross compared to what it used to be.

I have had a lot of Indian food, and this is still some of my favorite in Arizona. My go-to order here is usually between the malai kofta, shahi paneer, lamb korma (please try this), and the chicken 65. I find medium spice to be the perfect level of heat. The depth of flavor in their curries are incredible. The shahi paneer in particular is a great example of how precise their process must be. You can genuinely taste the combination of every spice used, and it feels like they used the perfect ratio. There are so many different notes of flavor and not a single one seems to be drowning out the other. The same can even be said about the chicken 65, but the curry is where this really shines. Also they've been really good about their rice, it was the perfect texture the last few times we've been. I can't comment on the service in-restaurant since my girlfriend and I are the kind of people to get takeout and watch a movie, but I will say the carryout ordering process has gotten significantly smoother. Ordering on the phone seems to be the way to go, and I have not had any of my orders messed up. I have had a couple times where I was awkwardly waiting for someone to be ready to help me get my order, but the wait time has generally been WAY better (like literal seconds), and staff are friendlier. Overall I would probably give a 4.5. Due to how good it is, and more importantly, how *consistently* good it's been, we've pretty much gone here every time we want Indian.

They have a full bar. On this trip, the $44 steal of a price included 3 courses and a side of rice or naan. We started with the Bhelpuri Avocado which is like a mix of puffed rice and avocado. The contrast of the crispy rice and flavorful and creamy avocado was a server suggestion and I am thrilled she did. The table next to us was also vocally registering their excitement with the dish. My wife went with the Parsi Lamb Keema which is like having the popular street food, Pav Bahji with a fantastically flavorful lamb stew with just the right amount of heat, served with buns like sliders. For the main courses we had the ever popular and best ever Butter Chicken made even more enjoyable with a dip of the Garlic Naan made fresh in house to order. Super tender naan. I went with the other server suggestion of Fish Curry which was an incredible mix of very crisp exterior yet moist interior sea bass swimming in a delicious curry. Never ordered before but again, thank you Angelica. Finally desert was the Gulab Jamon Cheesecake. Unique and very tasty ending to a fantastic meal. The interior is pretty spacious and has a nice waiting area. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the following: Paneer Tikka Masala $14.99 Garlic Naan $3.99 The paneer tikka masala came with grilled paneer cubes in a creamy tomato-based sauce. It was rich and flavorful. It also came with a side of rice which was nice. The garlic naan was soft, fluffy, and the perfect accompaniment to the tikka masala. It had plenty of garlic which I love. Prices were reasonable. I would order from Panchakattu again if I'm back in the area!
