I thought I was looking at a lot to clean up the mess and then even more to take care of the whole canopy of my beloved 85 year old American elm, so this wouldn't be so extreme, next time. Rubi Castillo, the estimator showed up and, WOW! I could not believe how reasonable the estimate was. They shared the same concern for the possibility of other limbs falling and hurting someone. Beny's really care about people and the trees. If I could give 1million stars and especially to Rubi, I would! Thanks.

Horrible business. False advertisement. I requested appointment 3 weeks ahead of time. The…read moreadvertised service was $250 for any size tree and gutter cleaning included. On the day of the appointment, a young guy was sent out no work truck and no workers with him. He quoted $900. When i told him about the ad, he said, "ugh, i guess we will have to get back with you later" no call. And nobody showed up and when tried to contact them by phone it went to voice mail with no calls returned. The scam video showing the huge tree being cut almost to the ground has since been taken down i assume. It was highly advertised on Facebook and Instagram. But apparently its just to get your attention so when they come out they pretend it was just "someone" that offered to do an ad for them. They refuse to honor their advertised price and won't return calls. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Joshua sent me a copy of his liability insurance, and I called the insurer and they confirmed that it's current. I asked for Worker's Compensation insurance and he said he doesn't have it, but he'd be willing to sign a waiver. I wrote one up and he signed it. When I hired him on Friday he said they'd be there next week. On Wednesday he called and said they'd be there the next morning. The arrived at 7:45, but didn't start chainsaws until 8:00, respectful of the noise ordinance. The tree they removed was hanging over my house. I was worried about big chunks falling onto the roof, but that never happened. I watched the crew of five work for a while, they were clearly skilled, and tied the parts they were cutting with a rope so that they couldn't fall on the roof. Two hours to cut down a large tree with a double trunk, then another hour to get all the pieces loaded in the trailer. They then ran a leaf blower to clean up. Done by 11:15. I tipped each of the crew $20.

My wife pointed out that applied only to work actually performed and that no one had shown up to do it. A supervisor had to authorize the refund.
