Sorry I didn't do a before. But trees look good and they are off the roof and not over the drive.

They always do right by us. Their prices are more than fair and they always clean up after themselves as part of their service. We've had them do work for us twice over the last 5 years. Could not be happier with the results. They seasoned, well trained folk.

The Austin team came by this afternoon and cleaned up/lifted my Grand Oak in my front yard and another oak and ornamental pear in the backyard. They did an excellent job and I appreciate the extra care they took in picking up the branches and blowing the leaves before they wrapped up. They were very knowledgeable and shared their plans with me before for they started working. Stellar job guys!

I had several quotes to remove an old Arizona Ash and HOW was by far the most inexpensive. I read mixed reviews but my experience was fantastic. They called several times when I first made the appointment and then called to confirm a few days before the appointment. The crew of four made quick work so the tree and did everything according to the contract.

Brandan on left and the Team - 8 May 2024

Brandan and his team were professional, skillful, thorough, and dedicated. Brandon (on the left in the photo) explained the science behind the suckers, and trimmed them to improve the look of the yard. The other three team members were cheerful and hard working. We are very satisfied with their work. Peter and Dorothy

We had a great experience the first time, but the second time was a different matter. Upon completion of the job, we were happy, but did not do an inspection of our roof. A couple months later, we realized that a tree branch had punctured our roof causing major leaking. We called our roofer to come take a look and they confirmed that it wasn't from a branch just falling as there are no trees around the area of the hole and there was no branch on the roof, but there were fresh cuts on a nearby tree. I realized that we'd had our trees trimmed a couple of months before. The roofer took pictures and repaired the roof. We have a tile roof and it had broken over 20 tiles and left a 10'' hole in the roof, but all that was left was a cut off portion of a branch. Upon contacting the owner of Austin Tree Surgeons, his response was that we had an old roof (which is not true - it's a tile roof that lasts a lifetime) and responded rudely through email basically saying you can't prove it! No phone call or site visit was made. I truly believe that a branch was dropped when they were removing it from the near by tree causing the damage......and then they just cleaned up their mishap. Obviously I can't prove that, but other professionals agreed that it didn't happen naturally. True - they trimmed our trees well, but if anything happens during that time, I wouldn't expect them to even make an attempt to make things right. I'm sure many people say this, but we have NEVER written a bad review for any service provider, but we felt it was necessary to let people know what they may be getting into when they hire Austin Tree Surgeons. They have definitely lost a customer with REALLY big trees.....

I thought we'd made it through the…read moreworst of the thunderstorms and microbursts, but a tiny spat of rain took a huge branch off the hackberry tree in between my and my neighbor's yard. In a certified Sunday miracle, it barely clipped my gutter (which hung on!) and landed square in between our houses, roofs no worse for the wear. I still found myself feeling a bit uneasy with the tree so close though, so reached out on Yelp to Texas Tree Doctors to take a look. Nicholas responded immediately and was able to come out just a couple hours later. Nicholas is a wealth of knowledge and was kind to answer basically every question I had in my free consult. He offered some really practical remediation in the form of a nutrient treatment that would help get the tree healthier and more supple so it'd be less likely to break in the future. For hardly any extra he offered to haul away the big branch as well. He also ballparked a cost for removing the tree entirely - all quotes seemed really fair. Ultimately, the tree is on the other side of the property line so removal is up to my neighbor, but I appreciate how straightforward it was to get someone with Nicholas's experience to take a look. If we decide to give some love (or destruction) to the tree he'll be the first guy I call.

Nicholas came out on incredibly short notice and did exactly what we needed at a price that didn't break the bank. I highly recommend Texas Tree Doctors.
