The crew showed up on time, worked quickly, and left a clean front yard. The new sod has looked fine --- continually for 30 days now. BUT --- since I ordered sod and a lot of dillo dirt, I assumed the dirt would be used to blend the elevated height to the non-sodded areas. SCAM ARTIST! I paid him over 6k to install a new sprinkler system. Everything was fine for the first few months until water bill was elevated. He came out to inspect the system and said pretty much every irrigation valve that was installed was leaking. He gave me 4 different days and times that he said he would come and replace them as part of his one year warranty. He did not show up or even call for any of them. Afterward he always had a different excuse as to why he no one could come that day. He will no longer answer my calls and I will be forced to sue him to get any of my money back. This man is a thief. I would not recommend Warriors Tree Service or David Salgado. First no one supervised sod installation in back yard so there was a shortage which I got stuck paying for. Then the sod installed has grub worms. David was to return and remove the "dead" grass so we could have the yard treated. On several occasions he "promised" to be here at 8am but never showed or called. When he learned he would have to replace the sod from his budget, he completely bailed. Giving Warrior 1 star for now; if they will fix the things they said they would then I'll be happy to increase the number of stars. We had David give us two estimates for addressing some issues with our side and front yards. The first job they did well and we are happy with the results. For the second job we had them put in a front patio to keep the oak tree roots at bay. We asked David if they would use rebar and tie it into the house; he said they used a mesh. We agreed to the project. The crew came out and when I asked about the mesh they said they didn't use that. We talked to David and he said it was a misunderstanding; they don't use mesh for small patios like ours. We were assured that we would like the result. We agreed to go ahead and they built a nice patio at the front of the house. Paid our bill and we were happy. Later that evening I was going to run the sprinklers to water the new sod that they had just installed. Much to my surprise one of the sprinkler heads poked through the new cement. They said they had capped off all of the sprinkler heads before they poured the cement. Additionally, a sprinkler head close to the patio needed to be adjusted and two at the front of the house where they laid new sod didn't seem to be working. I turned it off and called David Monday 1 April to let him know. He said he would get a crew out in the next day to fix the issue. Two days later and no one showed up. Called on Wednesday and he again said he would have someone come out the next day. David came out on Thursday 4 April and saw the issue and said someone would be out the next day to fix the issue. Again, no one showed up so I called David. This scenario repeated for the next week and a half and then David stopped taking my calls. We would really like them to fix the issues. Not sure why they don't want to take care of them. read more

Very happy with my trees after warriors worked on them. I noticed several large limbs above my roof and driveway. Warriors gave me a reasonable estimate and five or six guys were out the next day. They removed dead limbs, lifted the canopy off the roof and fence. The guys removed all the suckers that started growing after the freeze a couple years back. The crew of 6 arrived and, after reviewing the scope of the job, went straight to work. The large cedar was very near the house and within 2 1/2 feet of our deck. DO NOT HIRE. I paid 5K for them to do a number of things in my front and back yard. I was at work when they said they were done. They started around 8:30 AM and were finished at 3:00 PM. I thought that odd with the full list they had. Sprinkler system: not finished - one sprays directly onto the back of my house. Others were supposed to be cut down and capped, weren't. Till yard and level ground: not done at all. Small concrete pad: horrid job, not level, lots of dimples and some swipe marks (and concrete spattered all over my siding). Stump grinding: he either lied to me or they didn't do a good job. I still have trees trying to grow where he said once they ground the stumps, that would stop. They built a new gate for me; decent job but put latch on upside down. They also trimmed some trees; good job. We have set up several times when they were supposed to come and finish the work, but they don't show up. When told legal action to be taken, then he says they will come tomorrow. This company put a flyer under a rock (or in my case, a big chunk of broken brick) on every mailbox in my neighborhood, leaving each neighbor to dispose of this trash and an an unwanted rock. I contracted with warrior to trim my trees for $ 3,500 .00 dollars . Things started out OK , but I noticed they seemed in a big hurry . They started missing things and I expressed my concern to David , the owner . He tried to reassure me that this was normal . When his foreman approached me at 11:00 am asking to be paid I was shocked . They were in the middle of the job with a big mess everywhere . I told him no and said I would only pay David when all work was done . Long story short . These guys were not concerned about quality or doing a good job .
