I made an appointment with Pablo for a simple task - make sure that my trees around yard aren't dying and apply the correct amount of mulching to ensure I don't need to worry about the trees going forward (at least for the next few years). Pablo came on the day we scheduled, did a few tasks here and there with his assistant and promised that he would come back the next day to "finish the rest of the work." I decided to put my trust in Pablo and pay him the full amount $250. The next day, I waited for him to come, but ended up telling me that he had to schedule...Cut to 2 weeks later, and he's rescheduled the "completion of the task" over and over, to the point where I'm not sure what exactly he did in his first day of work. I gave him every opportunity to at least send me a text message giving me an update or a reason on why he's not responding for multiple weeks with a CLEAR answer on what exactly he still needs to complete. Crickets. Long story short, he ended up completely ghosting me for no reason...I'm not an unreasonable person by any means, if you don't want to complete the service, give me a heads up of what you did complete and what was left and I can at least get someone else. Eventually, I just gave up. I had to call TWO other Certified Arborist companies to tell me that Pablo didn't complete his work and there was still significant work to be done. Another $250 down the drain. All of this could've been avoided had Pablo simply texted me back a simple response: "Hey sorry I wasn't able to get to that. I have a busy schedule, but I recommend you find someone else to complete this this and this." but instead he for some reason just likes pushing things off, not showing up, and ghosting you out of the blue for no reason. Overall, I agree with the comments that Pablo is RUDE and is not good at communicating with CUSTOMERS. He's just simply not Professional in the most bizarre kind of way. Like seriously, does it take so much effort to send a text message to a customer that you didn't complete the task you promised to complete AFTER he's paid? Overall, Pablo is a strange man and I don't recommend his service in any capacity. Go with Beny's Tree Service - they've got a great Certified Arborist at very reasonable rates (and honestly better reviews overall). I have nothing but positive things to say about Beny's and nothing but terrible experience to say about Pablo, who apparently is Board Certified and touts his accolades, even though his professionalism is just not there. read more

Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but definitely the best tree trimmers I've ever had out here on my two acres. They did an excellent job on a big Bradford pear tree that was overthrowing the side of my house. They were fast, thorough, and really tidy. They even blew off the driveway when they were finished. After the February 2021 Texas freeze we had a number of large broken limbs hanging high in two oak trees. Tree Guys not only removed the precariously hanging limbs but also pruned back the broken stubs to the places that would best benefit the trees in the long-term. Pablo and his crew were responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. We have oak wilt in our neighborhood and with almost 20 live oaks in our yard, we were concerned for the health of our trees. Pablo was amazing, polite and responsive. Pricing was very reasonable. They took out two aging Bradford pear trees and ground those stumps plus another. They also treated two oaks that were struggling after the freeze earlier this year. They showed up on time, even in the rain. I heartily recommend Pablo and Tree Guys Expert Tree Care for anyone who wants tree trimming and *expert tree care* done on their property. I did my research and found some other good companies who have licensed arborists on staff. In fact, I chose the Tree Guys even though they were more expensive than some contractors, because Pablo listens to what you want done and offers a deep knowledge of tree biology and health during his initial inspection and estimate. This was a differentiator for me, since I wanted some trees removed but also wanted the trees I needed trimming to be even healthier for years to come. Anyone can trim up a canopy, but Pablo and his crew (one of whom is an arborist himself) trimmed out only dead and diseased wood and treated the trees for insect infestation as needed and provided some additional deep root fertilization on some of my favorite trees. These guys were available, communicated often, and worked with me on a fair price. I recommend your putting Pablo in your list of bids for tree work. Their name is accurate. Expert tree care is what you get. read more
