Asked to get a estimate, he drove out with his entire crew and tried to be super pushy. Did not understand simple text messages. After a annoying phone conversation (where I asked the same thing over and over) he agreed to quote me. Said $25,000 then said $20,000, then said $50,000.... I have been consistent in what I am asking for, and he is just all over the place. 0 stars Edit: he is now asking me to delete this review. His attempt includes manipulation in the form of "I spent time", "it's not fair", "I will give a discount", and is alluding to legal action. read more

I repeatedly told Jose that I wanted an estimate for the wood chipping I needed done. He arrived with chipping truck and 6 man crew and proceeded to say it was a really big job and would take all day--$5000! We said no we are getting several bids and that his bid seemed pretty high. He lowered his bid to $2000 with continued haggling. We said we still wanted to see what the other bids were. He left proceeding to turn around his big truck chipper and trailer by driving over a field of wildflowers including an area that we had just planted! He called again about 5 mins later with a quote of $1800. We got the job done by another company for $1200--three men and took less than 3 hours for this "big job". No, I would never recommend this price gouging high pressure contractor. Update: Jose has called repeatedly asking that I remove this review or he would put a lean on my property as he came out ready to work. I never hired him, just asked for a quote--repeatedly. His text to me after I said I would not remove this truthful review: "I await your response as soon as possible because I think and I believe that you would not like me to put a label on your property so that you could not sell it, I do not want to continue further in the background with more problems" So now he is threatening me.....just sad. read more

I hired Jose to trim 2 trees, he and his crews did an ok job. The details about trimming the branches and the cleaning up afterwards can be improved. I appreciate his men took over the cleaning after seeing I'm doing it myself. After they left next day I see there still dead branches, I texted him about it but no response. read more

Jose came to give a quote and same day began working. He was able to remove three trees, one that was quite large in the front and two that were in the back. You would have no idea the front tree was ever there and the back was cut to save the remaining trees attached to the stump. I'd highly recommend Jose! read more
