Came in on a Thursday at 1pm. Most of the seating was taken and seems like thjs place is laptop friendly. The ambiance is more on the trendy side, with wooden but tasteful seating, art hanging on the walls and a unique chair in the corner for what seems to be a photo-op. I ordered the iced cream top hojicha latte and my drink was ready in less than 3 minutes. It was so fast, I'm not even sure if they make the mix hojicha powder on the spot or if it's pre-made. Regardless, the drink was tasty and well made. This ran me $7 ($8 if with oat milk) and tipping optional. Grid Coffee is one of the better coffee/matcha/hojicha spots in the Walnut/Diamond Bar/Pomona/Rowland Heights area

Cookie butter latte
Melody L.

First time I came here I thought the latte I got was just ok. Wanted to try a different flavor and saw they had a cookie butter latte. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this tasted! The cookie butter foam was so good and matched perfectly with their coffee! This will be my new go to latte for a while!

Just an update - yes, still so good! I love Grid! Such a good coffee shop in the IE COFFEE is top notch and matcha good too.

Can a coffee place in Diamond Bar be this good? Yes, and that place is Grid Coffee. The store's simple layout shines brightly with the bold flavors it offers. I love their lavender latte, and many of these tasty pastries pair perfectly with a nice morning cup of Joe. Yes yes, I will be back for sure!

My absolute favorite local cafe, and even more that, one of the best blueberry matcha lattes, with oat milk, I've ever had in the world. I'm always searching for something comparable but I've never found anything in the ballpark of this taste. They used to have chia seeds in their blueberry syrup too which I loved but it seems to be removed now based on my last three visits. There are still whole blueberries at the bottom. My mom's favorite is the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. Anytime I'm in town, I will make it a point to come here and was recommended this spot and have been recommending it to others myself as well. Although I personally haven't gotten the coffee here, I've heard only good things. There was always people here anytime I visit, a testament to it actually being good. I highly recommend coming to Grid Coffee!

A quaint little coffee shop that looks small from the outside but spacious inside. There is a couple of tables outdoor and ample indoor seats. The wooden benches are not the most comfortable for long-term seating. I get the vibe they're going for. It's hip and aesthetic with clean lines. The service was quick and friendly. The drinks were excellent. I had the Blue Lavender Matcha Latte and it was really good. It hit the spot. The Dalgona Caffe Latte was not only good but pleasing to the eyes as well. I also like the different flavored croffles. They are not hard or too flaky. They were delicious. I am glad it's local which makes it a place I can keep coming back to.

Double Matcha Latte

I love their double matcha latte! It's not watered down and has a nice green color, unlike some other places. The sweetness balances the matcha nicely without overpowering it. If you're a matcha lover, I'd definitely recommend it. The service is great too. Everyone is very friendly.

Hot Vanilla Latte to go with
Miori I.

On a cold, rainy day, I needed a caffeine fix near Mt. Sac and found Grid Coffee thanks to Yelp. The photos and menu sold me instantly! From the parking lot, I thought it was just a small spot with an order window, but inside it's surprisingly spacious with clean lines and a minimal, Japanese-inspired aesthetic; super inviting. I ordered my go-to hot vanilla latte and couldn't resist grabbing a brownie, too. The latte was excellent, not all lattes are created equal, and this one had strong, smoky espresso flavor without being overly sweet. It absolutely hit the spot. The brownie came as a neatly cut rectangle of chocolatey goodness, pleasing to both the eyes and the taste buds. The calm, welcoming vibe of the shop was made even better by the lo-fi soundtrack playing in the background, such a nice touch that really set the mood. All in all, Grid Coffee is a little gem for anyone in the area. Great drinks, tasty treats, and an atmosphere that just feels right. I'll definitely be back!

Dropped into Grid Coffee while I was in the neighborhood. It was a cold, rainy day but the parking lot had plenty of spaces and the line moved quickly. Ordered a hot vanilla latte and a brownie for the road. Both hit the spot. Service was quick and polite. The cafe itself is large, welcoming, and has a relaxed vibe. Definitely a great place to warm up, hang out, or get some work done.

Grid is such a cool spot. The ambiance is so relaxing and welcoming. The employees are all really nice. I appreciated the recommendations. My blue lavender latte was perfectly sweetened at half sweet with almond milk. The coffee was complex, smooth and deliciously strong.

Quick and friendly service and I tried a decaf latte the tasted like full octane! Very toasty and rich. The chocolate croissant was fresh and flaky.

Cookie Butter Caffe Latte and Mojito Coffee

From the outside, this coffee shop looked deceivingly small and narrow. However, we were greeted by a wide, open space and a high ceiling when we stepped in. The interior has a minimalistic, modern, and industrial design. I ordered the Cookie Butter Caffe Latte with soy milk, and I asked for less sweet. This drink was creamy and yummy, and I could really taste the cookie butter. I loved the cookie bits. Even at "less sweet," it was still sweet but not overly so. All in all, I enjoyed the drink.

Dalgona Caffe Latte and Mocha Caffe Latte
Regina L.

A modern coffee shop with minimalist aesthetics serving up a variety of pastries and coffee. We came on a weekend afternoon and there was a small line which moved quickly. I decided to get the berry and matcha scone along with a Mocha Caffe Latte. I enjoyed the scone which was moist and flavorful, and the mocha caffe latte was refreshing on a warm day. The chocolate did have an artificial taste to it though which I wasn't a huge fan of. Service was standard. Inside seating is available in a stadium type of setting, as well as on the floor which was interesting as I have never seen a coffee shop with that type of seating. It didn't seem too conducive for studying or meeting up in large groups and seemed better suited for smaller groups. Grid Coffee is located in a strip mall with easy to find parking.

Tried the blood orange tea. No taste at all. Just a cup of water and a tea bag cost $4.5. Not worth it.

Ask the Community - Grid Coffee

Do they accept cash?

They do not

Is this a good place to study?

Depends, if you have many books and need space, they only have one long table that could be most comfortable for that. I've seen a few people study there the times I've come and they've utilized the table. They have two other seating arrangements… Read more

Hi, does this coffee place offers gift card?

Yes, they do sell gift cards.

Do they make their own coffee? If so, do they sell the beans at the store?

Do they have outdoor seating for people with dogs or are dogs allowed?

Yes they do! For both questions. I have brought my dog here several times.

Does the matcha powder used have sugar in it?

Yes, it does! They said it is pre-sweetened. I always order a strawberry matcha latte and you can choose to have less strawberry or matcha to make it less sweet.

What is the einspanner?

Viennese coffee with a lot of whipped cream on top. Typically drunk through the cream, without mixing.

For the pastries, it looked like a lot of the ones I was hoping from browsing online were not available. I ended up getting the biscoff cheesecake. It was on the sweeter side but it was very good. For the drink, I ended up getting the banana latte. Been on a streak of getting that lately so wanted to compare with other stores. I didn't get a lot of banana in the taste. At least it had an espresso shot for the caffeine fix and did not taste like the artificial banana. Nothing special there and stand out. For the interior, they had a few seating they primarily accommodated a few groups of four and two. I was able to grab a bench seat that had an outlet. However, there wasn't enough space for my laptop and the items I ordered. WiFi was available but it had a 90 minute limit. The store had a moderate noise level and stayed busy throughout the time that I was there. The service on the order was quick and they do bring it out to you. The store also has their own house espresso which was a medium dark roast. American Express is accepted as a payment option here. Overall, it was a decent work spot. If I come back, I'd prefer to try another drink and hope other pastries are available. Would recommend the biscoff cheesecake for those that want something sweet and the house coffee beans for those that like medium roasts.

I usually hit their San Marino spot, but this location still delivered the goods. The shop's a bit small inside, but service was nice. Grabbed my ride-or-die Koan-Im Oolong Latte and paired it with a donut from my favorite donut shop like I was assembling the perfect duo for a late night snack. The tea was lightly sweetened perfectly to my liking, smooth, and clearly crafted by someone who respects tea leaves more than I respect my sleep schedule. The cloud top was basically dalgona candy foam and felt like a bonus dessert after finishing the drink. Even with a lot of people waiing, service moved fast, in & out in about 7 mins. Quality tea, speedy service, and enough creamy foam happiness to make a milestone review feel deserved!! Highly recommend!!! Now for some poetry that's inspired my 1000th review: Warm glazed memories sift through my reverie. A pink box opened in the summer of 24. Days were bleak and hollow like a bakery shelf at closing. I saw the saddest eyes, soft as powdered sugar falling. Sweet like a dalgona cloud top koan-im oolong latte, but carrying a quiet ache no frosting could hide. That summer you saved me, like the first bite of something new when you thought you'd forgotten what butterflies felt like. The season changed and you suddenly disappeared.... just an empty pink box on the counter. Only crumbs remain now, where your strawberry-glazed humor used to melt into every moment like sugar on warm dough. My heart split like a jelly donut. Still, I'm grateful as the world is as it should be. I pass by the donut shop on 66 and smile. People think it's just about donuts. But once.... a long time ago, one saved my life.
