What first caught my attention was the unique style of seating that they offer customers. It's not the most comfortable place to study unless you secure a seat at the main table but it's a very cute setup.  As for the drinks, I'm not the biggest coffee person so I went with their cream matcha since it's something that I don't often see at cafes. It consists of matcha mixed with water topped with sweet cream and matcha powder. This coffee shop is my jam. The minimal aesthetics are on point - lots of neutral woods - and the seating situation is genius because it utilizes the entire space. It creates an air of openness. They also have an excellent playlist that dabbles mostly in Korean music. Drinking coffee and Shazaming their playlist has been my Saturday morning ritual. I have liked everything I've ordered here: vanilla latte, match latte, latte lattes, etc. My very favorite order go to so far is a large ice vanilla latte ($6.50). I don't know much about coffee, and I couldn't tell you that there are undertones of this or that, but I do know that they brew a damn good base. Anything else you add is just extra and that makes for a good cup of coffee. My sister has a penchant for anything with strawberry - here they include some jammy strawberries at the bottom of the drink. The strawberry caffe latte is very good and if you just want strawberry and milk, they have that too. Oh, and don't sleep on their teas. The iced peach tea was delicious. Got the Einspanner latte based on a recommendation from a friend. The blend is so smooth and delicious that I would definitely come back for this. The ambience and seating is also a nice place to relax. My main con would be that wait times can be a bit slow. Luckily I came early so there weren't many people. This place has some interesting coffee drinks. What initially attracted me to this place is its Grapefruit Caffe Latte. I thought it was kind of strange to combine citrus fruit with cream and coffee, but it was surprisingly good. It was refreshing but with a creamy taste and texture. It had the right amount of sweetness. Just make sure you mix it well before drinking though. Dalgona Caffe Latte tasted a bit bland at first, but tasted good once some of the honeycomb candy pieces dissolved into the drink. Also tried a drink with hibiscus in it, which was tasty and refreshing. Overall I think the drinks are pretty good, but just too pricey. Some of the drinks are in the $6-$7 range, which is high even for current standard. Even a regular coffee is about $3. read more

Plenty of parking spots! It's oddly looks like a small coffee shop from the outside, but once you walk in, it's actually SUPER spacious! I love the decor and minimalistic vibe, I like how everything looked so simple and clean. I also love the kr&b music they put on haha. I saw that the most popular drink is the blue lavender latte, so I really wanted to try it. I got the drink hot since it was raining and cold that day. So having the first few sips, I thought it was pretty nice! The lavender was pretty subtle, and then I realized it had this really weird aftertaste. It tasted like this Chinese medicine that my mom used to make me drink, which I didn't like that all lol. After the next few sips, it always had that weird aftertaste. I really enjoyed the einspanner because it wasn't too sweet and the cream on top was nice and thick with a light sweetness. Visited Grid Coffee for the first time yesterday morning and loved my experience at this coffee shop. The exterior of the coffee shop looks very small, but as soon as you walk-in, it's a completely different world. It is very modern; with plenty of room to sit, and hang out with friends. The menu is not very extensive, which is something we definitely love. We ordered the matcha latte, matcha caffe latte and dalgona caffe latte. The dalgona caffe latte look very pretty. The drink is topped with crumbled biscuits that you mix into the drink and gives it a nice flavor. My sister and I loved our matcha drinks; we are not afraid to say that this is the BEST MATCHA DRINK we've ever had. We've had matcha drinks from so many places and this is the best. If you are a fan of matcha (like we are) or if you have always wanted to try matcha but are scared to try it... you have to try it at Grid Coffee because it will change your world. read more

The aesthetic is ON POINT here. It's crazy how narrow it looks from the outside and then how spacious it is on the inside. It looks very hipster and modern on the inside with the tiered seating, the exposed floor and ceiling, some trinkets here and there. Their drinks are definitely unique and interesting, which was one of the reasons why we went here to try them out. They also sell some waffles here too. We got the: 1) Grapefruit Cafe Latte: -This tasted very strange to me. I don't really have an advanced palate or am enough of a coffee connoisseur to feel like I can enjoy this properly. -It looks really nice with the separated layers before mixing, don't get me wrong. -But after mixing, it just tasted like semi-bitter roasted coffee with some grapefruit pulp mixed in, so the end taste was also bitter and a bit sour. Very different flavor profile. 2) Dalgona Milk Tea: -This isn't the whipped dalgona you see trending. -I'm not sure what it was but there were these sweet, yummy, cronchy cubes at the top of my drink that eventually melted in my milk tea. -Overall tasted like a very caramel-ly HK milk tea, not bad ! Maybe once I've upped my coffee palate or am in the area, I'll give the other drinks a try. read more

I'm so happy that DB finally has a legit coffee spot. I went to their soft opening and am glad to see they're doing well. The staff are all informative and friendly. It's funny how small and narrow the business front looks from the outside. However, the space is really open, clean, and modern. I went this morning and there were several people studying and working- socially distanced of course. My favorite drink I've tried so far is the grapefruit cafe latte. It sounds like an odd pairing at first, but the flavors meld together. Bold coffee flavor with a slight sweetness from the chunks of grapefruit. The dalgona milk tea was way too sweet. I was not a fan of the carmel-y flavor. It would be better if the coffee flavor was more pronounced. I opted to try the mojito coffee this morning. The mint flavor is light and the drink tasted a bit watered down. Even after mixing in the pieces of mint like the barista suggested, it wasn't minty enough. The drinks are pricey but the quality is there and most of their drinks seem unique. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu! read more

Grid Coffee will undoubtedly become the coolest and hippest place to hang out and grab coffee in Diamond Bar once it's fully open for indoor dining but you still get a sense that it is already the coolest coffee shop for miles around just by going in to pick up some drinks. A bright white and minimalist decor defines the interior of Grid Coffee and the furniture is pretty awesome to behold. So far, I've ordered a Spanish Latte, a Dalgona milk tea, and a speciality drink called the Grapefruit infused latte...the latter is definitely an interesting combination due to the grapefruit chunks in there but surprisingly tastes like a latte with a note of chocolate - I liked it! The Spanish latte was also smooth, refreshing, and just sweet enough. But I probably love the Dalgona milk tea the most...with chunks of crispy dried, sweet dalgona but that slowly melt into the milk tea itself, it's definitely a fun drink to have. As for COVID protocols, masks are required, there are markers on the floor for spacing, plexiglass at the pay counters with the front doors open wide. The staff is also friendly and informative. I really can't wait to sit here and have a coffee and read on my iPad but Grid Coffee is great to visit now and a much needed addition to Diamond Bar's coffee scene. read more

What a hipster gem this cafe is! Honestly I said that because when I posted the pictures on my social media people thought I ditched work and went to DTLA somewhere lol I went on the grand opening day, and there were three people before me and another two came while I was waiting for my drink. I love this community! We support our local business! I ordered the grapefruit cafe latte, which is their specialty. I don't think I've ever heard of a grapefruit latte before. I know it sounds weird, but I sure loved it! The closest I can describe this is like a chocolate truffle with fruit jam inside! Highly recommend it! They have grand opening pricing right now, and I'll sure go back and visit sometime! Parking is easy as this is located at the old Big Lot's plaza in the brand new renovated building. It's alright. I got their strawberry milk and expected it to be balanced, but whoever made my drink added too much strawberry purée and it was too sweet. It took up at least 1/3 of the cup and the milk they used was really heavy for some reason, even though I got a nondairy milk. The space is big but it's difficult to sit on the wooden seats for a while. I wouldn't travel all the way here only if I was really close? And I was craving strawberry milk violently. First time coming in here and it's a little cozy coffee shop that gives a korean style coffee shop. The seating is unique and inviting. It's not crowded and has plenty of seating on the sides. Been coming to Grid Coffee for quite some time. The atmosphere and vibes of the shop itself are definitely aesthetic and pleasing. It's a great place to sit and study. LOVE LOVE LOVE their coffee! It's literally so strong and addicting. Baristas do well in this area. My favorites have to be the Strawberry Latte, Dalgona Latte, and Spanish Latte but they have a variety of other coffee and tea combinations that I enjoy. Staff are pretty friendly behind the register. However, I would give this place 5 stars if they had better speed of service. I recommend not coming in the mornings if you're in a rush, otherwise you could be waiting 15-20 minutes just for one drink. It seems that they only have one guy with long hair working in the mornings at the 7' o clock hour who does both register and makes the drinks, but it seems kind of difficult for him to manage both, so drinks get backed up when it gets busy; but the times when I'd come late morning or afternoons, service is relatively quick. Despite the speed of service, this coffee shop still remains one of my favorites. read more

This has to be one of the most aesthetic cafes I have been to. It had a very minimalist and industrial style. The baristas were so nice and gave recommendations of the menu. I had the peach tea with strawberries on the bottom and it was perfectly resting and fruity. This is a good spot to catch up with fitness or get some work done (has fast wifi). Just a note, the shorter height of the tables does make it a bit weird if you're using a laptop , so I wouldn't recommend working here for a long time with a laptop unless you want your back to hurt. How did I just discover this coffee shop?! This is the BEST coffee in the area. I don't have high expectations for coffee when I drive east out of LA but this place really exceeded my expectations. I've been trying to find more coffee shops to study at when I'm in SoCal & came across the Grid! We got the strawberry matcha latte & the einspanner latte. Both were really good- I think the strawberry matcha latte delivered all flavors, but I wish the einspanner latte was a bit more creamy considering it was a latte & not just iced coffee. That's just a personal preference though, and the coffee itself was strong without being overwhelming! As a study spot, they have one large communal style table & then bleacher style tables against the wall with little tabletops that you can rearrange. I saw a few outlets by the bleacher style seating but I'm not sure about the communal table. I went on a weekday and there was ample seating! Overall would recommend this spot. read more
