This is a cute place to sit, and it checks the boxes of pastries and coffee drinks. If you're a tourist or need a place to meet up, it fits the bill. Overall I'd say this is more style over substance. The interior and atmosphere is the draw and far outstrips the fare. The pastries are Sysco style, croissants deflated, and coffee tastes thin. Staff is pleasant and very efficient, the operation runs smoothly though Door Dash orders were slowing the process considerably when I was there.

I'm visiting DC and decided to try Gregory's instead of being basic and going to Starbucks like I usually do. And I'm so glad I did! I had their signature oat milk latte (forgot the name). The next day, I had the vegan breakfast burrito--also very good. The servers are nice and the inside is super cute!

10/10 I slept in and missed breakfast room service window so decided to take a walk and get some fresh air. After a quick Yelp search and menu peruse, I ended up at Gregorys Coffee. When you walk in you're greeted prompted by the staff and the warm space and decor. At 11ish on a Saturday I was able to walk right up and order. I opted for the vegan deluxe sandwich and the Iced Fall Oat Boy and which were both delicious. The vegan sandwich was packed with protein and melts vegan cheese and served piping hot and enveloped in a buttery, soft, vegan croissant. The Iced Fall Oat Boy is fall warmth in a cup but hold the pumpkin . Super creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. The staff were prompt and polite even giving me big cup with ice when I asked for water while I waited. (We all know how rare that is) Overall a great experience.

We stopped in this coffee shop since it was near our hotel. I'm glad we did. The pastries were amazing. Staff friendly and cool space I'll be back

Gregory's is my current coffee addition the biscotti testarossa is my my fave smash hit and you can get it high hot and cold! The staff is great and even though it's always busy, the orders come out quick and tasty! The cafe is also cute on the inside and cozy, good to work from for a few hours!

Delicious fresh oats snack that was my breakfast for the first two days while I was in DC. The service was very quick as I just needed to pay because the item was already made and I really loved the ambiance and spaciousness for people that would have wanted to enjoy their coffee and/or food on site.

My second time coming to this coffee shop and I got a Blue Dream Matcha when you get past the beauty of the drink be sure to stir the bottom so you get the full flavor! Cute shop and a place on the wall to take a pic if you would like. I sat in the chairs looking at the street and found it relaxing. Fast and amazing service.

What a cute coffee shop just a few feet away from our hotel stay while in Washington D.C. I hate we only found it 2 days before leaving. So many different unique coffee options to choose all sound great. I chose the biscotti testarossa which was a hazelnut almond milk and mascarpone lattes with all the flavor without being too sweet. The service was a lil slow but the drinks did compensate for it so much we went back the next day before leaving town.

A very good experience at this Gregorys Coffee location. The customer service, food, and drinks quality are very good. On this visit I ordered the Lemon Blueberry Pie Cookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Iced Caramel Macchiato. I would like to give the chocolate cookie another try at this location because I found it to be very dry, however it would be perfect for people who like to dunk their pastries in their coffee. The texture was more like a scone than a cookie. Overall, a very good experience and I will certainly visit this location again when I visit the Connecticut Avenue corridor.

Gregory's is a beautiful coffee spot when you are in need of switching up your coffee order! For as long as I can remember Gregory's has unique coffee creations that are fun to stop by and try out. I got the Honey Badger Cold Brew, a great mix of cold brew, almond milk, and honey. It was delicious and gave me the energy boost I needed! Note - these drinks are pre-made so there aren't any substitutions to their menu items. The service was fast and the ambiance was nice and clean. Will be back!

Eagerly awaited the opening of a Gregory's in DC after first trying it in New York! So happy to have this spot as an easy coffee staple for a standard cappuccino to go. Love the scones as well. Quick service.

It's a cute small coffee shop on my way to work and a great place to study at! A tad expensive but their blueberry chai refresher hit the spot on those hot humid days. The workers are usually nice and I get my drinks quick! I miss gregory's so much!

The worst service I walked out after paying for my coffee because instead of making it they were watching reels and cavorting in the back.

They are open until 1 PM on Saturdays, we reached at around 11:30 AM and I was half hoping for them to be out of most items. Fortunately, even though they were super packed, we were able to find all of the items we were looking for - thanks to the hard working staff as they continue to make their pastries until closing - unlike so many other bakeries these days that make a certain amount and call it a day! Now to the food, everything we had was absolutely phenomenal! I am not a donut person but I loved theirs as they were very flavorful and weren't too sweet. I definitely prefer their Ube and Pandan over the Black sesame donut. The Matcha chocolate croissant and the Ube Kouign Amann were my favorites of the bunch! I cannot recommend them enough, this will surely be my first stop every time I am in DC!

The space is a pretty cute, modern café with cherry blossom décor and a great mix of sweet and savory pastries. We honestly tried almost everything Garlic Scallion Bun - Soft, lightly toasted with just the right crunch. Inspired by a Taiwanese garlic bun, it was super easy to eat and one of my favorites (9/10). Matcha Chocolate Twice-Baked Croissant - A rectangular croissant absolutely loaded with matcha and chocolate, topped with matcha powder. It was almost a bit too heavy on the matcha for me, and the bitterness overpowered the chocolate. Banana Chocolate Twice-Baked Croissant - Banana cream on top with banana chocolate inside. Pretty straightforward--tasted exactly like what you'd expect from a banana chocolate croissant. Ube Cheese Kouign Amann - Unique sweet-and-savory combo. The ube adds a subtle sweetness while the cheese gives it a creamy balance. Rich and slightly dense, and I just wished there was a bit more filling to balance the pastry. Miso Garlic Salted Bread - One of my top picks. Savory, buttery, and paired with a slightly sweet brioche-like base that balances everything really well. Elote Bread - Corn-topped savory bread with a nice sweetness and texture. This and the miso garlic bread were tied for my favorites. Strawberry Passionfruit Kouign Amann - Fruity and rich, but a bit filling overall. I just wished there was more filling to balance the pastry. Sugared Donut - Simple and classic, just a soft, sugary donut done right. Drinks: * Strawberry Matcha & Mango Matcha - Both layer fruit puree with matcha, but the flavors stay quite separate rather than blending together. * Vietnamese Coffee with Cold Foam - Strong coffee base with strawberry-flavored cold foam. It's pretty sweet overall with less of a coffee-forward taste, but still smooth and enjoyable. * White Mocha Latte - More coffee-forward compared to the sweeter drinks, which I actually preferred. Overall, I loved my visit--great spot for both savory and sweet pastries with creative flavor combinations and a lot to try. I definitely preferred the savory items over sweet here particularly the garlic scallion bun!

I was so excited to try some of these harder to find pastries. I had a Turkish beef börek and a cheese finger börek. They warmed them up for me, but they still weren't very warm - I'd probably ask for them to warm them up twice next time. The beef börek was good; the cheese finger börek was good, too, if maybe a teensy bit dry. I also got one of their signature coffees. While these coffees sound interesting and delicious and creative, I wish there an option or two that weren't as sweet. I tried the Sultan's Velvet, which was just way too sweet for me. Next time, I'll stick to a classic coffee - an americano or a cappuccino - since they have it all. There's quite a bit of seating - some downstairs, some upstairs, and some outside. I sat down and read my book while I enjoyed my pastries. It's definitely the kind of place that is comfortable to sit and enjoy. The customer service was friendly and fast. Overall, I'm glad I stopped by Caspian Crust. Georgetown is lucky to have several pastry shops/bakeries, but Caspian Crust is different and stands out. Its focus on Turkish and Azerbaijani pastries means that there's something for everyone - some classics for those folks who like what they like with their coffee, more savory pastries with meat or cheese or olives, and some sweet but less common pastries as well. Great flavors and variety. It's also cozy, comfortable, and casual, with good customer service. I'd be happy to return.
