Straight up my favorite coffee while visiting DC. Good enough that we got it 3 days in a row. It's a chain, so we more or less got our daily order while we were touring in DC. Each shop has a decent amount of tables and seats. The staff was friendly and helpful. "Iced Biscotti Testarossa" - Think it as a double shot hazelnut latte. What really makes the drink is the mascarpone cold foam. When you incorporate it into the drink, adds the creamy finish. Subtle orange zest finish, as they through in an orange wheel as a garnish. If we're back in DC or anywhere that has a Greggory, will absolutely stop in. read more

Really cool ambiance with lots of natural light and really what makes up a good coffee shop. The service was great and had no complaints. I ordered an iced espresso and a vanilla latte with some chocolate croissants and another egg and cheese croissant. The food looks very good and the chocolate croissant was awesome. I originally thought I was getting an egg and cheese croissant, but when I bit into it, it had some possibly vegan sausage. Since I'm not a vegan, it really wasn't my jam, but they definitely have plenty of options. read more

I come here very often, since I am often in the area. I love this location! The service is always great, they are really sweet and helpful. They also hardly ever get my order wrong. The only reason for my lower rating is because of the loyalty program. It's not great because they don't reward you properly. It takes a lot for you to reach VIP status, which I did multiple times, but once you redeem ONE free reward, you are bumped back down to a basic tier. It doesn't make sense for you to punish loyal customers for using the points they worked for. There was a time that I was here every week day, but you wouldnt be able to tell by my rewards status, which is a shame. I now frequent Starbucks more often because I get a lot of freebies over there, and they don't charge you for a non-dairy substitution. I used to order the vegan breakfast sandwich a lot (add hot sauce & honey myself) but then they upped the price to $7 for the little sandwich. That is the price of a whole meal at a fast food restaurant! Not worth it anymore. They do have decent cold brew, and I like the seasonal drinks they have on their menu, but they are overpriced. It's unfortunate that I had to stop coming here because I really liked it. read more

I really like this location! There is plenty of seating available and the workers are really nice. Personally, I would skip the matcha because it's a little grainy and I prefer an Asian owned place for matcha. However, the coffee/latte itself is pretty good. I got the blueberry latte and my friend got the blueberry matcha. I recommend the seasonal sips! I like how it's bright inside and there are plants decorated around. read more

Gregory's Coffee definitely has a more independent bohemian feel than larger chains like Starbucks and Dunkin. The offerings seem a bit more limited, but the staff are friendly, and the food was good. The seating area was not the cleanest; we had to wipe down a table and seats prior to sitting down. This location was located close to the Farragut Square area along the Red and Orange/Blue/Silver Metro lines. read more

This is a cute place to sit, and it checks the boxes of pastries and coffee drinks. If you're a tourist or need a place to meet up, it fits the bill. Overall I'd say this is more style over substance. The interior and atmosphere is the draw and far outstrips the fare. The pastries are Sysco style, croissants deflated, and coffee tastes thin. Staff is pleasant and very efficient, the operation runs smoothly though Door Dash orders were slowing the process considerably when I was there. read more

We first enjoyed Gregory's in Jersey City several years ago so were excited to see them right down the street from our hotel. They brew up delicious coffee drinks and have a unique selection of other refreshments. I absolutely love their protein balls - especially the almond coconut ones. The Gr-egg bites were flavorful and fluffy. Staff very friendly and quick. Nice seating in a clean and open shop. read more

I'm visiting DC and decided to try Gregory's instead of being basic and going to Starbucks like I usually do. And I'm so glad I did! I had their signature oat milk latte (forgot the name). The next day, I had the vegan breakfast burrito--also very good. The servers are nice and the inside is super cute! read more

10/10 I slept in and missed breakfast room service window so decided to take a walk and get some fresh air. After a quick Yelp search and menu peruse, I ended up at Gregorys Coffee. When you walk in you're greeted prompted by the staff and the warm space and decor. At 11ish on a Saturday I was able to walk right up and order. I opted for the vegan deluxe sandwich and the Iced Fall Oat Boy and which were both delicious. The vegan sandwich was packed with protein and melts vegan cheese and served piping hot and enveloped in a buttery, soft, vegan croissant. The Iced Fall Oat Boy is fall warmth in a cup but hold the pumpkin . Super creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. The staff were prompt and polite even giving me big cup with ice when I asked for water while I waited. (We all know how rare that is) Overall a great experience. read more

Very friendly staff and quick service. I tried their homemade plain croissants (ie breakfast egg sandwich) and they're good, not wow but good and I would have it again based on their super convenient location. Not sure if egg was real egg, or a mixture, or an egg substitute... Cappuccino was also good. Great space and good amount of seating. read more

What a cute coffee shop just a few feet away from our hotel stay while in Washington D.C. I hate we only found it 2 days before leaving. So many different unique coffee options to choose all sound great. I chose the biscotti testarossa which was a hazelnut almond milk and mascarpone lattes with all the flavor without being too sweet. The service was a lil slow but the drinks did compensate for it so much we went back the next day before leaving town. read more

A very good experience at this Gregorys Coffee location. The customer service, food, and drinks quality are very good. On this visit I ordered the Lemon Blueberry Pie Cookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Iced Caramel Macchiato. I would like to give the chocolate cookie another try at this location because I found it to be very dry, however it would be perfect for people who like to dunk their pastries in their coffee. The texture was more like a scone than a cookie. Overall, a very good experience and I will certainly visit this location again when I visit the Connecticut Avenue corridor. read more

Gregory's is a beautiful coffee spot when you are in need of switching up your coffee order! For as long as I can remember Gregory's has unique coffee creations that are fun to stop by and try out. I got the Honey Badger Cold Brew, a great mix of cold brew, almond milk, and honey. It was delicious and gave me the energy boost I needed! Note - these drinks are pre-made so there aren't any substitutions to their menu items. The service was fast and the ambiance was nice and clean. Will be back! read more

First, the Fall Oat Boy drink got my attention. but the thing is... I tend to feel like most beverages like that are too sweet? Enter: Gregory's coffee. Not only is this delicious beverage not too sweet, but exactly perfect-- it's named after my all time favorite band. I could have really put in effort to come up with a "Sugar, we're going down (so our drink isn't too sweet)" pun but I didn't want to forget to sing the praises of this excellent place. read more

Whether you're a coffee-lover, tea-lover, or food / vibes-lover, you really can't go wrong with Gregory's! If you aren't able to have dairy, have no fear -- Gregory's has an impressive spread of plant-based milks, including the usual oat, soy, and almond, as well as pistachio milk if you want to try something a little bit more ~contemporary~. If you also happen to be on the hunt for some plant-based breakfast options, Gregory's has a super impressive spread, with vegan breakfast sandwiches and burritos (including a plant-based sausage, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich!) and overnight oats for my other plant-based and gluten-free friends. Drinks are good. I'm partial to the salted caramel (even though it's premade). Staff doesn't really pay attention, unfortunately

I frequent the area quite often and decided to check it out. A girl needs her coffee. Very nice inside. Ample amount of seating. I love how there are two sitting areas with doors so that you can isolate yourself (relax, study, chit chat with others). The menu has a good variety of options. I ordered a caramel macchiato and my mother ordered The Skinny sandwich (egg white and turkey sausage) and a gingerbread latte. The latte I had was cool (I have my staples) and my mom said she enjoyed hers. The staff was super friendly and I would definitely return to try some of the other drinks on the menu. read more

Don't come here. This coffee chain doesn't know how to treat its loyalty program members, and management does not give the employees any ability to resolve issues. I visited the morning of May 18 and was unable to apply my Gs (the equivalent of Starbucks stars) for a free drink either through the app or in-person with the three baristas working at the store. Nobody at the store was able to resolve the issue, and I wasted 20 minutes in utter frustration. After writing to Gregory's Coffee customer service, I learned today that they don't allow Gs to be used toward their Lavender Matcha drink. Apparently customers are supposed to know that anything under "Freshly Picked" is a limited edition item and therefore not eligible, despite the fact that the app doesn't give any explanation and the baristas themselves don't know either. Furthermore, customer service didn't apologize and acted like I was an idiot for not knowing. This is despite the fact that their competitors such as Starbucks allow stars to be used for all drinks. Stay away. This place doesn't respect its loyalty program members and doesn't apologize or make do for its customer service failures. They've lost a customer for life over $7.35. read more
