Really cool ambiance with lots of natural light and really what makes up a good coffee shop. The service was great and had no complaints. I ordered an iced espresso and a vanilla latte with some chocolate croissants and another egg and cheese croissant. The food looks very good and the chocolate croissant was awesome. I originally thought I was getting an egg and cheese croissant, but when I bit into it, it had some possibly vegan sausage. I come here very often, since I am often in the area. I love this location! The service is always great, they are really sweet and helpful. They also hardly ever get my order wrong. The only reason for my lower rating is because of the loyalty program. It's not great because they don't reward you properly. It takes a lot for you to reach VIP status, which I did multiple times, but once you redeem ONE free reward, you are bumped back down to a basic tier. It doesn't make sense for you to punish loyal customers for using the points they worked for. There was a time that I was here every week day, but you wouldnt be able to tell by my rewards status, which is a shame. I now frequent Starbucks more often because I get a lot of freebies over there, and they don't charge you for a non-dairy substitution. I used to order the vegan breakfast sandwich a lot (add hot sauce & honey myself) but then they upped the price to $7 for the little sandwich. That is the price of a whole meal at a fast food restaurant! Not worth it anymore. They do have decent cold brew, and I like the seasonal drinks they have on their menu, but they are overpriced. It's unfortunate that I had to stop coming here because I really liked it. read more

The offerings seem a bit more limited, but the staff are friendly, and the food was good. The seating area was not the cleanest; we had to wipe down a table and seats prior to sitting down. I really like this location! There is plenty of seating available and the workers are really nice. Personally, I would skip the matcha because it's a little grainy and I prefer an Asian owned place for matcha. However, the coffee/latte itself is pretty good. This is a cute place to sit, and it checks the boxes of pastries and coffee drinks. If you're a tourist or need a place to meet up, it fits the bill. Overall I'd say this is more style over substance. The interior and atmosphere is the draw and far outstrips the fare. The pastries are Sysco style, croissants deflated, and coffee tastes thin. 10/10 I slept in and missed breakfast room service window so decided to take a walk and get some fresh air. After a quick Yelp search and menu peruse, I ended up at Gregorys Coffee. When you walk in you're greeted prompted by the staff and the warm space and decor. At 11ish on a Saturday I was able to walk right up and order. I opted for the vegan deluxe sandwich and the Iced Fall Oat Boy and which were both delicious. The vegan sandwich was packed with protein and melts vegan cheese and served piping hot and enveloped in a buttery, soft, vegan croissant. The Iced Fall Oat Boy is fall warmth in a cup but hold the pumpkin . Super creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. The staff were prompt and polite even giving me big cup with ice when I asked for water while I waited. (We all know how rare that is) Overall a great experience. read more

A very good experience at this Gregorys Coffee location. The customer service, food, and drinks quality are very good. On this visit I ordered the Lemon Blueberry Pie Cookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Iced Caramel Macchiato. I would like to give the chocolate cookie another try at this location because I found it to be very dry, however it would be perfect for people who like to dunk their pastries in their coffee. The texture was more like a scone than a cookie. Overall, a very good experience and I will certainly visit this location again when I visit the Connecticut Avenue corridor. read more

I got the Honey Badger Cold Brew, a great mix of cold brew, almond milk, and honey. It was delicious and gave me the energy boost I needed! I ordered a caramel macchiato and my mother ordered The Skinny sandwich (egg white and turkey sausage) and a gingerbread latte. Don't come here. This coffee chain doesn't know how to treat its loyalty program members, and management does not give the employees any ability to resolve issues. I visited the morning of May 18 and was unable to apply my Gs (the equivalent of Starbucks stars) for a free drink either through the app or in-person with the three baristas working at the store. Nobody at the store was able to resolve the issue, and I wasted 20 minutes in utter frustration. After writing to Gregory's Coffee customer service, I learned today that they don't allow Gs to be used toward their Lavender Matcha drink. Apparently customers are supposed to know that anything under "Freshly Picked" is a limited edition item and therefore not eligible, despite the fact that the app doesn't give any explanation and the baristas themselves don't know either. Furthermore, customer service didn't apologize and acted like I was an idiot for not knowing. This is despite the fact that their competitors such as Starbucks allow stars to be used for all drinks. Stay away. This place doesn't respect its loyalty program members and doesn't apologize or make do for its customer service failures. They've lost a customer for life over $7.35. read more
