I love a good cup of tea or coffee at Bluestone. It's made immediately when you place your order either in person or via mobile app. My go to is their chai lattes but they have a series of smoothies that look really delicious too. It's a small cafe but with plenty of outdoor seating. Other locations have more space compared to this one.

Good cup of joe, but not super comfortable seating and the music seemed a bit loud for the small space. I expected something more or different given it's connected to the Darcy hotel. The young man working was friendly & attentive, and no complaints about the coffee.

Really unfortunate experience at this location. Went on a Sunday around 12pm and most items were sold out and poorly prepared. I ordered a vanilla iced latte that had coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup and possibly the saddest breakfast burrito ever. For $20, I would have rather gone to McDonald

On a recent visit to DC I was craving a healthy, nutrient dense breakfast. Enter Bluestone Lane which totally delivered on my craving. I opted for a clean & lean protein bowl which is essentially similar to the breakfast I make every day at home. It featured smoked salmon, poached egg, feta, tomatoes, avocado all on a bed of lettuce with lemon vinaigrette dressing. I added an extra poached egg for the protein and ordered for delivery via uber eats. It was a great, fresh, balanced breakfast. Would definitely order again if in the area when looking for something healthy and satisfying.

This is such a cute little breakfast spot in the area. I'm so glad I found it. Good coffee, good smoothie and lots of seating options.

Quaint adorable coffee shop near our hotel in city center DC. Perfect Sunday morning spot. All your caffeine needs and breakfast and pastry plates. Great bread ! Loved the Cappuccino and I was just basic with toast and jam but it was what I needed ! Carbs ! Great service ! Lots of food variety. No fuss but just a nice place to park yourself for a break. If I lived in DC this would be on my coffee rotation!

Should be a smoothie but more like water and wasn't comfortable having the young man make it again.

The customer service is really bad. No one greets you and everyone working there looks like they are attending a funeral. I went to grab a smoothie 2 days in a row and the service was the same. The tall young man needs to stay in the back, he is very unpleasant and I'm not sure he should be providing any service to customers. Not to mention if you make a smoothie and you know it's like water why serve it to a customer. Please train the staff in customer service, so they can provide the customers with a good experience.

Great coffee place. Just how it should be. Strong well made coffee friendly staffs. Foods are good and pretty fast too. Price is on high end. But you get what you paid for

Bustling cafe this morning. We ordered at the kiosk and sat outside. My friend thought the PB and berry toast would have been better without honey drizzled on top. My egg and bacon croissant would have better without the chipotle mayo. Otherwise, a quick and easy breakfast with good coffee.

I and my friends have this on Christmas Day and it's so lovely and amazing they really have a nice cook and very lovely

Conveniently placed coffee shop in the radius of a few hotels. They open early, even on a Sunday. I stopped by to get an iced mocha before heading out of DC. It wasn't busy this AM and I had my drink in roughly 90 sec after chatting with the barista. There are also options for online ordering and digital self-checkout in case there's a line. My drink tasted great and there was a perfect ratio between ice, espresso and oat milk. Good quality chocolate, as well.

Our waiter was friendly and gave great recommendations. I ordered the Ted's Bulletin burger with the egg fried hard, and let me just say this was my first time having an egg on a burger, and I'm sold! I'd get it again any day. I also swapped my regular fries for truffle fries, which were a great choice. My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken with biscuits and got the sausage gravy on the side. The chicken was fried perfectly with a nice crunch, the biscuits were soft, and the sausage gravy was so good you could honestly eat it by itself. My daughter got the mac and cheese with a side of fruit and cleaned her plate.. no crumbs left! I'd definitely come back, especially to try their breakfast/brunch since they serve it all day. Overall, I'd recommend Ted's for a solid breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The decor was right up my alley: gorgeous details, stunning florals, absolutely beautiful. We both went with the Plat Américain, a classic breakfast with eggs, bacon, crispy fingerlings, and a croissant. A simple but solid choice! The croissant especially was so soft and fluffy, thoroughly enjoyed that. I ordered an iced latte and asked for it to be sweetened, but it came out pretty punchy... I don't think the sweetener made it in! If you're into a strong, bold latte you'll love it, but if you like yours on the sweeter side, just make sure to double check with your server. The manager also stopped by our table mid-meal which was a nice touch, super friendly and personable. It was a pleasure!

We stumbled upon this new restaurant on the H Street corridor 8th street--a neighborhood that can feel a bit rough around the edges--but what we found inside was nothing short of a true gem. The moment we stepped in, we were stunned by how beautifully designed the space is. The décor feels warm, elegant, and thoughtfully curated, offering a calm retreat from the busy street outside. But the real magic arrives on the plate. Every dish we tried showcased fresh, high-quality ingredients, layered flavors, and a clear respect for the rich culinary heritage of the Ottoman and Istanbul royal family traditions. You can taste the care and legacy behind every recipe. This is not just another brunch spot--it's a place where history, culture, and freshness come together in a way that feels both authentic and elevated. They have both the upstairs and downstairs of the building. Upstairs is a great social gathering with a bartender and the back patio is nicely renovated that can host pet in the summer months. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of what the restaurant offers. It's rare to find a place that surprises you in all the right ways, but Tiffany's Bistro & Bar does exactly that. A beautiful concept, executed with heart. We can't wait to come back.

When one thinks of a biscuit they think of a fluffy savory item that is a least the size of your palm. These "biscuits" were a joke! Hard as a rock and the size of a cracker!!! Either change the description on the menu or reduce the price significantly- heck do both!! Then the main items came out- we were there for brunch. We asked for over easy eggs, and all the eggs came out overcooked. The sausage was burnt to a crisp and lacked flavor. Given this is a Mediterranean cuisine the flavor should be popping! We had to send the food back at that point! The food that was returned back to us was not any better. This place had potential but the chef really needs to reevaluate his menu items and the final dish that is served to patrons. Would t not recommend.

I went on a Monday before noon so it wasn't really busy. I will say the space is really open and modern which I liked and it's located within the Waterfront. My friend and I ordered a few dishes to share: Biscuits, Shrimp and Grits, and the Berry French Toast. Only one biscuit was soft and fluffy. The other was pretty dry and hard so we didn't finish it. The honey butter (I believe) was light and did compliment the biscuit very well. I just wished we could've enjoyed the same consistency across the two biscuits we ordered. The shrimp and grits was a solid portion. They didn't skimp on the jumbo shrimp or the sausage and this is definitely a dish you can share. I thought it was a little too salty for my taste but again, the meat in this dish was seasoned well. They used challah bread for their french toast which made it nice and dough-y. I thought this was the best dish that we ordered and again, can definitely be shared between two people. It's sweet on it's own, so if you don't have that extra sweet tooth, you won't need to add the syrup. I'd like to try this place again the next time I'm in town and maybe try out their mimosas and other entrees.
