First and foremost this moving company has been the best experience I've ever had with movers and I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND this team for your next move and ALL future moves. I researched several companies before deciding on this company. The deal breaker was the itemized quote they offered. This helped save my family money which is really important when your embarking on a new home. Ryan the owner and another young man were the movers and helped move all my bulk furniture such as couches, TVs, exercise machine etc. They also offer to haul away items for salvation army which is really nice. The team showed up on time between a 1 hr time frame in the morning. The AMAZING part was: they moved our 3rd story apartment into a 2 story home in 3 HOURS COMBINED!! That type of professionalism, expeditious attitude and dedication is remarkable! My husband and I had time to run errands afterwards bc they were done by 11:30 am!!!! I can not emphasize enough how amazing, fast and professional this team was. I wish this company would come up first on all Yelp searches for movers. Thank you so much to Green Gorilla Movers! 5 stars!! read more

What an excellent move Green Gorilla provided! The crew was outstandingly efficient, super friendly, and exceptionally resourceful. The booking rep was prompt as can be, delightful to communicate with, and downright congenial. If you need a move in or around Austin, I don't think you can do better than these folks. I'd give them six stars if Yelp would let me! read more

Let me start by saying, I never take the time to review companies. I feel compelled to share my story with this company to make others aware. Pros: 1. The guys showed up on time and were very nice and friendly. (The reason for the second star) 2. One of the employees I spoke with contacted a reputable repair company in the area where I moved to take care of damages Incurred. Cons (and timeline): 1. We requested 4 movers, 3 showed up. 2. Damages were incurred due to carelessness after a long day of moving 3. Lots of office staff turnover. 4. Notified them on March 15, 2016 of damages and I'm still waiting to have the issue resolved. 5. I have explained the damages and requested repair funds needed with no less than 5 employees since March. 6. My furniture was picked up for repairs on May 31, 2016 and Green Gorilla Movers was invoiced by the repair company. 7. As of July 2016 - the work was not yet started because the company has not received payment from Green Gorilla Movers. 8. On August 3, 2016 - Spoke to owner John Flores requesting payment. At this point, I paid the repair company myself and I am waiting on reimbursement of $351.00 from Green Gorilla Movers. 9. It's now August 10, 2016 the check has yet to arrive and is being mailed from Austin to Houston (should be here by now). I have contacted John Flores and my next step is to file a complaint with all of my correspondence from Green Gorilla Movers with the Texas Department of Mother Vehicles read more

We got off to a rocky start (one of the movers had an emergency and had to split 5 mins into the job, which delayed us 6 hours while they lined up a new team.) But boy oh boy did they make it right. They moved me for free and even replaced an inexpensive item damaged during the move, so they certainly lost some money on me. I was perfectly happy with everything in the end, and appreciative of the classy decision made! read more

Best moving company I've ever dealt with. Mary was extremely fast and helpful setting up a day and window for the move. Truck arrived right on time. Bryce and Josh were phenomenal. Super friendly and efficient. They got the job done quickly and professionally. Would definitely use again and have already recommended to many of my friends making moves around Austin. read more

Green Gorilla has rescued me in my move, twice now! I have nothing but great things to say about them and their staff.

Worth every penny! The guys who moved us did a great job. Very professional and never slowed down. If you can talk with Rachel in the office. Explained everything and great customer service. We will definitely refer them to friends and family. read more

I am in love with this moving company and will never use anyone else! They unloaded a piano in almost complete silence so as not to wake up my babies! They displayed a positive attitude dedicated to customer service. They even allowed me to pay later because their credit card swiper wasn't working. Talk about integrity! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone moving anything and everything. read more

Great company, Great service. My realtor recommended these guys and they did a great job. The driver Levi and the mover Allan provided a speedy hassle free move down 3 sets of horribly placed stairs. I would highly recommend getting these two guys if you decide to use this company. read more

Awesome job, very professional quick and did not mess one thing up, I usually use a friends company but had no openings and was a little nervous! They were amazing! They even have go.green options which I did not use because of time Constraints but love the option. Would totally use them again. Only had 40 cash to tip wish I had more. Would be nice if the management would allow us to tip on credit card to disperse to the men. Thanks for the easy move!! read more

I definitely made the right decision in choosing Green Gorilla Movers. Sheila was incredibly helpful from the very first inquiry that I sent. The movers were incredibly helpful in getting things where they belonged in the new house! I've never seen 2 guys work so hard... awesome experience. Will certainly use Green Gorilla again... but I hope not for a very long time as moving is not my favorite!! read more

Ryan and Peter were awesome!! Can't tell you how grateful I am for their super hard work and fast move! Would use Green Gorilla Movers again for sure. read more

Green Gorilla Movers are awesome! The guys were careful with all our belongings and treated our stuff and our new house as if they were the owners. That's how you know when you've found a great company--when the employees treat others's belongings as their own. We moved when it was FLOODING! They payed close attention to keeping our items dry, especially the electronics. They even moved our heavy plants (read cacti)! Hopefully we won't be moving again for a long time, but when we do we will use Green Gorilla! read more

Excellent customer service, fast movers, super friendly, and very reasonably priced (especially compared to Two Men and a Truck); can not recommend this local Austin business enough! read more

This was my first professional move in a while, I had professional movers like 10 years ago but typically just moved myself since then. For the most part this company was very good, fast, etc but there were some negative points: 1. the overall move took quite a bit longer then expected, mostly because it took 2 loads instead of 1 2. The movers moved very fast in the morning, but once the afternoon job got canceled their speed seemed to get a lot less, and I felt like that increased the cost/time Overall though I would use them again, they might be better for smaller moves like 2 bedroom apartments etc. read more

Absolutely the best there is. Oscar, Nate and Cody did a GREAT job and were incredibly patient with me and nice to me. I had one of those "take that, but I don't need to take that" situations where I couldn't life anything myself (bad back) so I needed help from movers, but only needed to move certain things. They checked with me throughout the process and created inventive ways to pack fragile objects. They did such a good, efficient job that I had room for my bed (!!) which I was afraid I couldn't manage to move. They said, "no problem" and it was done. Rather than use a long-distance mover I rented a POD to be relocated later and they packed it perfectly. I'm very, very happy with them and recommend them for any type of move, residential or commercial. Each of them was extremely courteous, careful, diligent and nice. DEFINITELY recommend them for any situation. THANK YOU!! read more

GGM did a great job , fair $ and on time . Highly recommended !!! Keep up the good work guys !

Green gorilla moving were simply the best. Very punctual, organized, and fast. Best moving experience I've ever had!!

I used this company for a move for a client. Loved them! Sheila was awesome to deal with and the team of movers as well. I will use them if I can for my own personal moves in the future and definitely again for any client moves. A+! read more

We've used Green Gorilla twice and had the same experience both times. 2 young men moved us in approx. 6 hours - they were ultimate professionals, very friendly (even on a HOT Austin day) and everything arrived safe, sound and in one piece. I hope I don't move any time soon, but if I do, I'll be working with Green Gorilla Movers. read more

We used this company previously which is why we chose to use them for a second time. The experiences were unfortunately completely different. The first time, the guys were prompt, courteous and attentive to what they were doing, including wrapping furniture and mattresses. They did not take the precautions nor show the professionalism during our second move. Boxes were left in a disarray, furniture damaged, glass broken, fragile items left in garage, scratches to furniture, furniture moved in upside down, no organization. One guy asked my husband to roll up a rug if we wanted it moved. Just one of many examples we experienced. In fact, damage was done to both the house we moved from (still waiting to see if we are going to be charged for all the damage done to the walls) and our current home. It has been over 45 days and we are still awaiting action on their end to address several issues we had during the second move, including damage to furniture and our newly painted walls. We've sent over 2 dozen emails and made calls and continue to get the run around. We were told by different employees (some of which are apparently no longer employed) that our walls would be repaired and glass to a curio would be replaced. And, some sort of reimbursement would be given. We have not heard from owners whatsoever. While we can understand and expect "some" damage when a move occurs, their lack of action is beyond comprehension and unacceptable. There is clearly poor communication among the staff, regardless if an employee has left their company. The ball has been dropped. read more

Talk about amazing! They are the lowest priced movers out there. I looked around for a lot of quotes and these guys came back with the most competitive rate. The crew that moved us from our apartment to our new house, was very careful and respectful with our furniture. They moved fast and set up what needed to be quick too. Now when I say fast, don't think careless. I felt like they were hustling and not trying to work slow to get more money. I would recommended them over and over! read more

Hire 'em! So easy to schedule with - we kept flopping between a Sunday and Saturday move and Sheila was patient and willing to meet our needs. We had Ceasar, Xavier, and Isidro - three guys with fantastic work ethics and some serious muscle - HARD WORKERS! They moved our heavy, bulky furniture down from a third story walk-up apartment, into a two story house WITHOUT A STITCH OF COMPLAINT. Ceasar (the lead) was organized and professional - all three worked diligently with cheerful attitudes, even offering to rearrange pieces after a long day of moving, if I wanted them adjusted. There was some minimal damage - a small wall sconce got tweaked - which Ceasar immediately called to our attention. In moving so much furniture and boxes we figure there's bound to be something that breaks, so we weren't concerned. Our previous movers staged a mutiny half-way through, broke several items, complained constantly and kept dragging in cigarette smoke and also left numerous butts on our walkway, so this time I researched on yelp. I chose Green Gorilla based on excellent yelp reviews. My husband and I were over-the-top satisfied. read more

Great guys. Super friendly. Loved the option to rent reusable moving crates to pack. Highly recommend them!

They moved us on March 22nd and did a terrific job. They were all really nice and helpful. Sorry for the delay! read more

Bryce and James did a fantastic job helping me move. If they are a reflection of Green Gorilla Movers, than I have to say this company rocks. They made sure that all of my stuff was safely packed away, and everything came in without a scratch on it. I would definitely recommend anyone moving to use this company, and hopefully you are lucky enough to get Bryce and James. read more

Excellent from the initial contact to the final placement (and replacement ) of the last piece of furniture. Great referral from Bungo Box. Hardworkers, efficient, and smart about the entire process. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Would use them for any type of move we have in the future. Well worth the rates. They took a great deal of pain out of our move. Thanks! read more

We hired Green Gorilla Movers for our recent transition from one house to the next and I'm so glad we did! The 2 man crew showed up on time, went over the move process, took care to check for any items that were fragile or would need special attention and then got to work. They were fast, efficient and courteous. When there was concern that not everything was going to fit on the truck they repacked certain boxes to make it work. The next day when the same crew delivered our things they took the time to ask us where we wanted things placed and even helped reassemble furniture. Best of all, the final amount due came in under their quote which was less expensive to begin with than several other companies I had received quotes from. I would definitely use them again! read more

In our 27-year marriage we have moved all over the country, and just completed our 4th move in Texas alone since 2017. We have seen it ALL. When Scott, Joe, and Devin arrived Sunday morning 6-23, I was in a total moving LATHER, practically foaming at the mouth, NOT feeling ready. Plus, we have big furniture, breakables, heavy exercise equipment, 3 flat screen televisions, and antiques. Scott said, "Don't worry, we'll take care of you," and he and Joe and Devin CRUSHED IT. They were positive, energetic, helpful, communicative, friendly, and unflappable. We needed two full loads to complete the job, plus set up on the other end. My husband and I agree that we would-- probably WILL SOON-- use this company again, and even request this awesome team of guys. The move could NOT have gone better from our perspective. It was almost fun. Thanks again, guys. Really appreciate everything you did for us!!! read more

John and his crew were great. They answered their phone (which is rare for an Austin mover) and I booked them on very short notice. They did a great job of moving my things, they were affordable, and they gave me great advice on how to handle the move. Apparently they've been around people in the middle of real estate transactions long enough to know what to expect. By helping me plan my move better, he saved me hundreds of dollars. Maybe the best part is he runs his truck with pure biodiesel. So it's better for the environment. He is also an expert in getting around difficult places. Both the place he moved me out of and into were both on difficult hills. But it was no problem for them. I can't say enough good things about John and his crew. read more

These guys are great! When planning my move I contacted several 5 star'd companies. They responded the quickest and offered a competitive rate. All my inquiries were responded to in a timely manner and the move was quick and easy. They took great care of my stuff and I'll definitely be using them again when I move this summer. There's a reason Green Gorilla has consistent 5 star reviews. They really are that great. Thanks guys!! read more

Great company, I own a moving company called Word of Mouth moving and have known John and Shiela for years, great people. Anyways, John and I worked together for a long time prior to being owners and am blessed to have he and his wife on my side when needing help with my company. As I said the moving business is very competitive, so great to know other companies can still help out each other and do it the American way! read more

The guys were on time, personable and went above and beyond to help us with our move. I will certainly use them in the future and I would recommend them to others. They did a great job! read more

Green Gorilla Movers are the only moving company I will ever use or recommend from this point forward. They have moved us twice in the past 2 years and have taken care of our belongings better than we have taken care of them. Pros: Easy to reach by phone. Extremely careful with fragile items. Very quick and efficient. Easy on the pocketbook. Cons: none that I can think of. read more

Best movers around town! They are careful but quick and VERY affordable compared to other services around. I will be using them on my next move! read more

I have moved all over the country and worked with all types of moving companies and movers, and Green Gorilla Movers were by far the best. They had great attitudes, were very efficient, and careful with my items. I did have a little mishap where an item was placed on a J. Crew hat of mine and damaged, and Ryan actually went to J. Crew himself and bought me a new one. He even brought it to my apartment. I have never had such great customer service. I will definitely use them the next time I move out. They are great! read more

Every now and then you find a vendor that you can put down on your "keep for life" list. Green Gorilla Movers is that for me. Oscar and Cesar showed up on time, made packing adjustments to the special items I had, and then knocked it out! Very professional, affordable, and reliable. These are "my" movers, from now on. read more
