As a former partner that has grown a love for Starbucks (and a shareholder at that) I tend to stick with Starbucks coffee. Sometimes Starbuck's hours and mine don't work well together so I'm forced to go somewhere else unless I want to put the effort into making my own coffee at home. Before they opened, I had heard a little bit of a buzz of excitement over Gravity coming into town. Their niche, it seems, is an energy drink. I don't drink energy drinks, but now I've gone to Gravity a handful of times. Typically I go through the drive-through as it's a visit after my workout and I don't like going in anywhere all sweaty. The girls are generally friendly through the window and very patient with my lack of knowledge of their products, and even more patience with my post-workout, endorphine fueled rambling. The visit that sold me with the espresso was when I couldn't decide on a flavor that I wanted to put in my coffee, as I typically do, so I decided to just have a plain americano. It was fantastic! The coffee was so smooth. The shots were full of flavor that seemed naturally sweet with the expected bitter of coffee flavor. They tasted like they were perfectly timed and had no room to expire. The flavor was so earthy and bold that I just couldn't seem to get enough. I finished it and wanted more by the time I got to work! Last week I had to go inside, which I hadn't done since before the remodel. The music was a little louder than I would like if I had decided to go in there for conversation with a friend, but that wasn't what I was in there for with this visit. The decor was clean, modern and inviting - there were several spots in the room that I would absolutely be comfortable with having to sit in. It's in my nature now to automatically go to a Starbucks when they're open, but I'll definitely return to Gravity time and time again. Gravity's coffee is a lot less expensive and I love that they have a pre-paid card system with a reward drink punch card included. .....now to have that punch card on a phone app...... read more

I'm a big fan of blended iced coffees - and living in Maple Valley since 1999 I've tried just about every stand in the area. This is the best for blended coffees. My personal favorite is the Snickers blended (with whip & drizzle of course). I was absolutely blown away the first time I stopped by with my boyfriend. I wanted to wait until I had been there a good dozen times before writing a review because consistency in product is so important. I have to say all of the drinks I received were consistently DELICIOUS! I will definitely keep coming back. I do wish they offered a reward-type punch card to people when they came through, though.. Their website says they have a punch card but I'm never asked if I have one or want one. read more

Went here for the first time today, was first in line and stood there for about 20 minutes. No one ever took my order or said anything. I am happy that there are many milk alternatives - soy, almond, hemp!! But when it comes to the coffee itself, it's ok, maybe a bit burnt. The baristas were friendly and nice and the coffee cups are super cute. My first visit (June 1st) was on their very first day. I had been a huge fan of City Perk so I was really hoping for a good replacement. The coffee was ok, the service was ok, but I chalked it up to "first day jitters". My husband and I have gone back several times since then and have never been too thrilled with our experience (and kept wondering why the inside was in a perpetual "just moved in" state). This weekend was their "grand opening" (4 months in the making), so we thought we'd give one more try to see if anything had changed. The loud music, sterile, unwelcoming decor, and burnt coffee are a few of the big reasons we will not be going back. Having to ask for cream for my coffee rather than have it available (as any other place does) was also a pain. read more

Gravity is the best! I love that the baristas remember my order and most of the time have it ready and waiting when they see my car in the drive-through. Katie, the manager, always goes above and beyond to check in with customers and make sure that they are satisfied with their drink. Today I went and got my favorite drink there, the zero gravity, and after leaving I spilled the entire thing in a parking lot before I had even taken one sip! I later went back, and mentioned that I had spilled my drink before drinking it, and they replaced it free of charge. I had never been to the previous coffee shop that was at this location before Gravity Coffee so I can't/won't compare. I was excited to see a new coffee shop in town so I was eager to try it out. I ordered a blended mocha and it was terrible. It tasted like burnt coffee and had no mocha/chocolate/coffee flavor. It just tasted like burnt coffee water/ice. I don't plan on coming back here. I will continue to go to Ristrettos coffee down the street. read more

This has been my #1 favorite coffee shop ever since it opened. They are over the top kind and respective, and the drinks are amazing! I would also like to point out one event that further shows Gravitys' astonishing caring and kindness as a business; I was sitting at a table after finishing my salad, waiting for someone to arrive and one of the employees came up to me and handed me a water while I waited.
