Was told by order taker that there hasn't been prices for "quite a while" since they changed the prices because they would have to order new menus. ~my advise is get a different menu board that allows you to post the price. I had to ask what my total was because I like to get my money ready for when the window opens... She said "give me a minute"... My friend lives in Maple Valley and suggested this cafe I'd never been to so I was super excited to check it out. I love the vibes of the location and how spacious the cafe is. There was so much seating and the view is incredible, I'd imagine this is the perfect spot to spend a sunny day being productive. I ordered my go-to 16oz iced oatmilk mocha and was disappointed when the flavour was sickly sweet. My friend loved her tea though and my croissant was incredible. The baristas at the counter were super welcoming and friendly. Even though it was my first time in Maple Valley, they treated me like I was a regular. I stopped by in a Saturday afternoon to meet up with a friend. It was really warm out but it was sooooo Loud inside so we decided to sit on the patio so we could hear each other talk. She had iced tea and I and a sugar free white mocha. We both finished our drinks and enjoyed them. This place is local to my temporary home and it's AWESOME!! I actually came here with my wife and her group party that was held upstairs. Great meeting space, where I was able to hook up to their tv and use it as a monitor from the computer. My wife hosted a "travel" party where a gal from TX was leading the party via Zoom. Very cool! We ordered all kinds of treats, charcuterie boards, coffee and tea from downstairs, and some mimosas. All in all it was a great venue, very accommodating services, and the food and drink were delish! Great place now! So happy that the owner hired some wonderful girls! I didn't come here for years because of the staff. It's night and day from what it was when it first opened. Now you are greeted with sincere smiles and no attitudes. Love that there are no TV's and no loud music. Baristas care to pull good shots and food is made with care. We only wish the pastries were better. Everything else is top notch. But oh goodness those pastries never look appealing. Met a friend here for lunch. Got here before 11, so we were limited to the breakfast menu. The layout of the place looks inviting. Before 11 am, you order at the counter.. after, table service is offered. The breakfast menu is limited so wait for lunch, if possible. The 1st table we tried to sit at wasn't even wiped down. It wasn't busy enough in there for them not to wipe down tables. Meh. We ordered 2 coffee drinks and a oj for her lil man, breakfast burrito, Monte Cristo croissant sandwich, and a sausage, egg, n cheese for me. I chose a Burrito since anymore the availability of Mexican is common and their simplicity would seem a breeze to make. So I was surprised they were outsourced and took a pre-made Burrito and tossed it in the microwave and when handed to me it had hot sauce in a tube. Maybe the Burrito is just an option for the kids or out of town customers but I would hope they would up their game and make it equal to the other entrees. But I finished my wine about a third of the way through the meal, and certainly would have ordered a second and perhaps a third if someone had bothered to stop by the table. I'm not sure if our original server went on break, or was done for the night, but she joined two gentlemen at the table next to ours. Parking was totally packed, though, for a Thursday afternoon at 2:20 PM, 4/20/23. A whole lot of people were eating, drinking and socializing inside, as all of the tables were occupied. Interesting little place here in Maplevalley. It's both coffee and wine so you're getting your 5 AM and 5 PM all in one. They don't serve their actual menu until 11, so I got this pre-packaged little loaf from Mama D's farmhouse baking Company in Auburn The baristas were just OK they seemed a little irritated honestly. Maybe she was irritated with me because I've never been here before? I just moved to the area couple months ago and had a doctors appointment; I thought I'd pop over here for coffee. They do have a drive-through which is kind of nice but I decided to go inside. The barista took my order seemed agitated that I was there but I had never been there before so I didn't know any of the menu items or what they typically served. I was looking around and noticed a different menu, but they only serve this after 11 and she was very prompt to tell me to not look at it. It was only 1045 so I could've stayed and ordered, but I guess not. She then told me that there were breakfast items that they served and that's when I said sure I'll take a "berry loaf" and she promptly snagged this one from the tier and kind of just threw it on the counter. The one she grabbed was raspberry coconut; not exactly what I call Berry. Either way, it seems kind of nice but honestly didn't seem that clean. There was a lot of knickknack things around; the wine was semi-displayed nicely but that's just my opinion. There wasn't a coffee situation and a bar situation it was very all intermix which kind of made it very confusing as a new customer. I felt very much like a bar but it was coffee....???? The barista's were only half wearing their masks which I guess it doesn't matter if people are vaccinated now (6/14/21) I was going to sit down but couldn't figure out the Wi-Fi; whatever password they had wasn't really working for their guests. Popped in the car, took my first sip of the coffee and it was horrendous it was super black dark espresso tasting like not really sure what happened so I ended up mixing it and then it tasted like a normal macchiato. Not a pleasant experience. If I was sitting there and taking my first sip, I probably would've gone up to the counter and asked them to make it again for me but I had already left at that point. This is a lovely coffee & wine shop located in what used to be the middle of nowhere, now turned into a small shopping center. I ended up coming here twice over the weekend since the snow forced me to stay up on the hill. The first trip was for coffee. They had several specialty drinks available and I went with the Sweetheart. Do they have oat milk? Why yes, yes they do!! I don't remember what went into a "Sweetheart," but it was really good! Definitely nice to be able to sit down in the coffee shop and chill. Bonus points to the fireplace! Very low flame so it almost looked like it was off, but clearly radiating heat. I went back for lunch the next day. They have a "limited menu" right now, but it's two pages so it's really not that limited -- plenty of options!! I opted for a veggie panini with chips and some beer (on tap!!). Now, when someone says "panini" I think of a hot sandwich - something that's been at minimum heated, but most likely grilled...perhaps on some sort of machine known as a "panini press." As you can see the the photo, there are some marks on the bread, but it wasn't toasted or warm in any definition of the word. That being said, it was a good sandwich and I'd eat another one. My dining partner went with the "Ristretto dip," basically a very nice helping of roast beef with fancy espresso au jus to dip it in. Like mine, the bread was not toasted, but the sandwich was good either way. Overall this is a great coffee & wine shop that has a great atmosphere and definitely worth checking out! read more

Well, This isn't my first time here but it is my first review. I've been here about 5 times & Whether it be for a Quick cup of coffee in the A.M or a place to grab a glass of wine has always been a good experience. The staff is friendly always & including the owner if you happen to catch her and ask like I did " who's the owner?" Haha Anyhow, the photo I posted is of their seasonal Harvest old fashioned & it's a fun addition to their seasonal menu and worth a try! Even if you don't like old fashions... I had a spinach artichoke dip today & last Friday when I came I had their cheese and meat board for the 2nd time and as always it was well displayed and good! Lots of potential for this space. The vibe just wasn't there though. It felt muted. The outside is nice during the summer and the first floor indoors was cozy. The upstairs is just quiet and lit with green-toned LED can lighting which I can't totally blame the shop for, because that's what the market pushes. Incandescent uplighting/table lighting would've really made the loft pop. Took more than 10 minutes to get service, so I just ordered a fig & brie appetizer, not expecting to stay for too long. Great flavor but expected more figs around the plate. There was a decent selection of beer, so I did decide to stay awhile.
