Everything you wish for in an office setting - go often. The food and staff are most excellent.

Julie's does not serve breakfast. They have a few pastries and some fruit. It is a snack bar in an office building.

The food was delicious, comforting, and full of flavor--it really hit the spot. I opt for the Fried Chicken silog and my wife ordered the Lumpia Silog. What made the experience even more memorable was the hospitality. The owner was there, took the time to chat with guests, and was incredibly kind. As a nice surprise, he even treated us to complimentary turon, which was such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect way to end the meal. It's little moments like that that make a restaurant stand out. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere make Ludi's an easy recommendation for anyone visiting downtown Seattle. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

Listen to the reviews, there WILL be a wait on the weekends... but it is worth it!!! we queued up for about 45 minutes at around 9am on a Sunday. Once you arrive inside you order at the front counter. We had warm & friendly service from the moment we stepped in. We ordered a full stack of the ube pancakes, the combo rice silog plate & then an extra side of beef lumpia and garlic rice. Once we were seated, the food came out pretty quick and we all fell in love. Every single bite was delicious and you can taste the love put into each dish. The ube pancakes lived up to the hype! not too sweet, perfect texture, and a flavor that was so perfect. The combo plate was amazing and I could eat a ton of their lumpia. Ambiance is homey and comfy, with photos all over the walls and a lively atmosphere. The owner himself came to chat with us about the food. We saw him walking around and being present with plenty of customers and that added a very special touch. he even gave us a magnet souvenir to take home. I will definitely be going back next time i'm in seattle and cannot recommend enough!

In the back there is a huge mural of Dolly Parton, Anthony Bourdain, and a tiny Bob Ross in the style of American Gothic. The walls are covered with trinkets from the 80s and 90s like Homies and California Raisin figurines and KISS Pez dispensers. The food: Smashwich - A really good breakfast sandwich. The hash browns give it some added crunch that is surprising but welcome. Chicken in a Biscuit - The biscuit and chicken taste great. It's a bit hard to eat because of how large of a bite it is and how firm the components are. Vanilla Cream Shokupan Doughnut - The donut portion is tasty and there is a ton of whipped cream on this. The cream is quite heavy though and leaves a fatty mouthfeel. Wish this was a lighter cream that's fresh filled into the pastry, but that's another prep step before serving. Overall, really fun place in terms of the decor, music and interesting twists on food. Oodles of nostalgia is always a positive in my book. Everything was cooked well and I personally didn't think the chicken steak was super heavy. Service/Ambiance: Staff here is very friendly but move at the fast pace you would expect for a traditional breakfast/diner style. The restaurant also has some fun decorations. Everything you would needs for your meal (salt/pepper/hot sauce/half & half for coffee) is readily available at each table which was nice. Note: We've been here a few times now, and it does get packed on the weekends so prepare for a bit of a wait!

We hadn't…read moretried it before, but some friends had mentioned they'd been wanting to check it out too, so we decided to give it a go. I'll be honest--the service felt a bit odd when we first walked in. We were told we could wait a while to get seated at the dinning area or that we could seat ourselves at the bar. Since it was our first time, I wasn't sure if that meant the actual bar counter or tables in the bar area. When I asked for clarification, there was a bit of an awkward pause before someone finally explained we could sit at a table in the bar section. That said, once we got settled, the experience improved. The server who took care of us was very kind and attentive. I ordered my usual go-to at breakfast spots: chicken fried steak with a biscuit. It was really good--definitely hearty and comforting without being overly greasy. That said, it is a heavy meal (fried food plus gravy), so be prepared for a post-brunch nap. The biscuit looked a little underwhelming at first, but it actually tasted great. The overall vibe of the place is very much a local dive bar feel, and the service style matches that. As long as you go in with the right expectations, it makes for an enjoyable, laid-back brunch. Also worth noting--there's a decent amount of parking in the back, which is always a plus. Overall, a solid spot for a casual, no-frills brunch.

Right in the heart of Newcastle, it felt like a true neighborhood gem. The owner, Jen, is an absolute dream, and her staff reflected that same warmth and care. Every visit felt welcoming, thoughtful, and special. This place will be greatly missed, and I'm so grateful for the many wonderful meals I had here over the years. The burrata was always outstanding, no matter the season or preparation -- somehow familiar yet always fresh and creative. From comforting pot pies and rich lasagnas to classic meat-and-potato dishes and beautifully executed cuisine, everything that came out of the kitchen was mouthwatering and made with intention. While it's hard to say goodbye, I'm thankful that Jen still has Brimmer & Heeltap in Seattle, where her talent and vision continue to shine. A truly special place, run by truly special people.

The food was great, I had a large slider and some clam chowder and my friend had a large slider with some brussel sprouts. However, the service was terrible. There were 3-4 servers behind the bar, but it took us around 15 minutes to even get one of them to acknowledge us. They did have a small crowd, but nothing outrageous. The servers were obviously busy, but they ignored our efforts to be helped and 3 other couples got served who sat down after us. When we left, there was only a few people left in the bar, and the servers had turned over. The new bartender/server also ignored us. He finally acknowledged our existence when we asked for the check. Of course the bill was incorrect and included extra items that we did not order. We left and went to the receptionist to get parking validation. Apparently the free parking is only 2 hours free, we were there for a little more than 2 hours. So, we paid the extra cost and left. That area of Renton is super cute. Unfortunately, we wont return because we can find similar offerings in the area with free parking and better service.

Bartender serving us was very attentive and provided most wonderful service this evening.
