    Wine

I've never seen a wine bar or winery that had so many different (and tasty) wine glass pours. Every wine I tried was delicious. What stuck out to me was a sparkling wine from Romania - something I haven't tried too often. It was somewhat herbaceous and structured and all around a very good wine . The service was amazing and people working there definitely seem to know what they're talking about! The decor was very inviting and truly earns this place the name of "The Wine Spot", as it's exactly that. My party appreciated their time here and I'd be happy to return many times, so thank you!

Incredible staff and owners! We watched 4 very intoxicated individuals all come slurring their speech and very appropriately turned away by the bartender. This was to the point that the bartender messaged the owners and they were there in minutes. Incredibly proud of this staff for doing what is right instead of serving belligerent individuals. Their friends walked in after last call here and then joined them at the establishment next door (we paid close attention as we left). Hopefully they weren't all served, but regardless if a negative review follows this one shortly know it is from individuals that weren't turned away for a gift card but instead for inability to safely serve. From a former bartender/server incredibly proud of this establishments response and the owners that came running to support their staff. We will come back whenever we are back in town visiting:)

Gina is passionate about wine and picks some good ones. This is a place to discover local wines and explore international options. If unsure, get a flight so you can taste a nice range, then go from there. The pic of the bottle of Sleight of Hand was taken at home but I bought it at the Wine Spot.

Used to be Moose Canyon Winery. Much prefer the current format. Different tastings every week (I believe) so you get to try a much broader variety of wines. I'm more of a Reds (especially Cabs) person but like to keep trying it all. They offered a nice variety today, a 2008 Villa Matilde, Falanghina Roca De Leoni, that was very nice. Another white and two reds (see pic), I'm sure I would never had otherwise tried. Good part is you'll always be able try new stuff. A nice variety of munchies along with some REALLY good truffle. After all, wine without chocolate is just...well...pointless. Tastings and glasses are very affordable, owner's a sweetheart. Definitely worth the try.

The John Daly and Pink Guava Mojito were both deliciously refreshing, which felt a little inconsiderate because now I have to think about them again. The homemade corned beef hash was fantastic, the Crab Bennies were out of this world, and the country potatoes were exactly what breakfast potatoes should be: crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and not just there for emotional support. And each dish came with a yummy mini scone. The staff were super friendly and efficient, and the whole place had that relaxed, welcoming energy that makes you want to sit there longer than you planned. Overall, great food, great drinks, great service, and a clean, easygoing vibe.

Unfortunately, we did find a hair in the burrito this time It was definitely gross, but they immediately made my husband a new one and waived the charge. Our server was amazing throughout the whole experience, so instead of using the waived charge as a discount, we used it to tip him extra. He truly deserved it! The first time I came here, I ordered the Crab Eggs Benedict, but I was WAY too hungry and completely forgot to take a photo. This time, I got the Open-Faced Dungeness Crab Melt and PLEASE get this if you come here. This was THE BEST dish ever!!! The crab, melted cheese and tomato worked so well together and everything tasted perfectly balanced. And the fries were SO crispy! Even with the little incident, we will definitely be coming back. The food is too good and our server made the experience even better! Also, if you're coming for a special occasion like Mother's Day, definitely make a reservation ahead of time. Honestly, I would recommend making one for weekends too because it can get busy!

4.5 stars! Love The Mill! Have been coming here for years…read moreand the food is consistently wonderful. Brunch, Special menus for holidays, dinner, cocktails, dessert-it has all been top notch. This is a gem. Menu changes regularly so there is always something fresh and new. Prices may seem a little high for the area but the food and drink justify it. On my most recent visit we got 2 appetizers, two entrees (one was steak with shrimp add on), 3 desserts, and 5 cocktails for $250 which was not outrageous. Portion sizes are great. Food is full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We have sat on the restaurant side a few times but normally sit in a booth on the bar side. There is also a small patio off the bar in good weather. Bartenders are friendly and engaging. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Only reason I knocked it a half star is the service on the bar side can be slow or feel forgotten about sometimes but it just depends on the time of day and if the bartender is having to do double duty or if they have dedicated wait staff in that area.

They didn't have the best…read morereviews, but my husband and I just wanted a place to nibble on some food and have some drinks before meeting up with other friends. When we walked in, we had the option of going to the bar area or restaurant. We chose the bar. The place was spacious and had ample seating. We sat down and a gal came to our table to ask for our order. She immediately came off as very standoffish, but, all good, we were there to relax and enjoy. We ordered wings to start off with. Mind you, it was happy hour which she mentioned herself. Cool, thank you. The wings were decent but some were soggy. But it's all good. We then ordered an entree and more wings because we were hungry. Did another dozen wings in the buffalo sauce. Our waitress, Kalidawn, reiterating the wings were 2 orders. Didn't make sense but it did in the end as she was trying to separate the orders as "half orders" to charge more? When in reality, it was the same buffalo flavor for the dozen wings so it wasn't a "half order". Really? You're going to do all of that to get you an extra few dollars? She was already rude, dismissive, and bothered from the beginning. We try to look past these things but she was truly excessive. It's like she wanted to make a statement and hated that we weren't regulars. We ended up getting sick after eating here. The service was beyond disappointing and the food sucked, but we also got sick which was the cherry on the cake. We will never be back and hope others think twice. And to find out, Kalidawn is the manager at the restaurant. So don't even bother trying to complain about her horrible HORRIBLE service and attitude. She runs the place which makes sense as to why I'm sure they're struggling. Do better.

I have been seeing this highly rated restaurant for a while and my husband wanted to check it out…read moreon a Sunday, so we made a reservation and they took us right away. We were the only people in the dining room for lunch the entire time until our last 10 mins. This restaurant is inside a casino in Fife. Parking is interesting, and the casino itself is in the middle of a reno so it looks a bit messy but otherwise it is fine. Kudos to them for trying to make the outside section nice because the view kind of kills it. Pros - it's a very nicely designed space. The hostess and our waitress were so nice and welcoming, even giving me a stool for my bag (and it wasn't even my fanciest bag lol!) Overall, the restaurant is nice, the food seems to be mostly fresh and good quality and service was nice. I actually quite enjoyed my ribeye, despite our broccolinni having no almonds, as stated on the menu. My affogato was good, and the cake frosting and flavors were good. Cons - I say these with love...but we both feel the kitchen was not up to par, or the main chef was off, or something happened because there were quite a few mishaps during our visit. The appetizers were good, but the scallops needed salt and I would not pair them with pineapple, personally. The calamari weren't the most tender, and the breading was interesting - it's definitely not your typical breading, it suited a fish and chips dish better. The sweet and spicy sauce served with it is from trader Joe's...I know because I've bought it before, so I don't believe it's house made. Like I previously stated, the broccolinni was missing the almonds, and the carrots on the side that I ordered for $13 were so embarrassing that the waitress came back after serving us and told us that she spoke to the manager and got those off our bill. That's how ridiculous they were, so thank you to her for having good values at work. While I liked my steak, it was very, very fatty, and my husband asked for medium rare and definitely got medium well. Lastly, the pink champagne cake was disappointing, not because it was yucky, but because the cake itself was clearly days old, and had been freshly frosted. It was tough, dry and stale, while the frosting was fresh and light. Overall, I can see coming back but I'm in no rush due to the price/location/overall food.

It was our first visit last night. I'm all for constructive…read morecriticism so that's why I'm here. Pros: Food was great. My wife said the chicken parmigiana was one of the best examples she's ever had. She usually isn't into red sauce that much but she loved it. Most of us had the salmon, which I think was cooked just right and was well presented. It's kind of a weird location but it works that it has a lot of parking. The inside's nice and clean, the people we engaged with there were pleasant/service was good. Cons: Main issue last night was how long it took to get our meal: I think it took over an hour. I don't fault a place for a single slow experience, and the waitress was apologetic about the delay, but for the level of establishment it is, it would've been nice for the table to have been given some free bread or something to munch on as an apology for the wait. The inside was pretty smoky when we got there, light beams cast. Not sure if smoke derived from cooking or the inside fireplace (insert?) but my wife's sensitive to the smoke, so her eyes were bothering her for a bit. She was talking about possibly needing to go outside when I think the AC kicked in and the air quality improved. Otherwise, I'd say the main con is it's on the pricey side. Like after tax the salmon is almost $50, no salad/side included, and it's not a large portion. It was, however, delicious.

We live in the area and it has taken us over 3 years to finally try it and the talk about it being ok and expensive is true. The menu honestly doesn't have much variety on it.
