    Wine

I've never seen a wine bar or winery that had so many different (and tasty) wine glass pours. Every wine I tried was delicious. What stuck out to me was a sparkling wine from Romania - something I haven't tried too often. It was somewhat herbaceous and structured and all around a very good wine . The service was amazing and people working there definitely seem to know what they're talking about! The decor was very inviting and truly earns this place the name of "The Wine Spot", as it's exactly that. My party appreciated their time here and I'd be happy to return many times, so thank you!

Incredible staff and owners! We watched 4 very intoxicated individuals all come slurring their speech and very appropriately turned away by the bartender. This was to the point that the bartender messaged the owners and they were there in minutes. Incredibly proud of this staff for doing what is right instead of serving belligerent individuals. Their friends walked in after last call here and then joined them at the establishment next door (we paid close attention as we left). Hopefully they weren't all served, but regardless if a negative review follows this one shortly know it is from individuals that weren't turned away for a gift card but instead for inability to safely serve. From a former bartender/server incredibly proud of this establishments response and the owners that came running to support their staff. We will come back whenever we are back in town visiting:)

Gina is passionate about wine and picks some good ones. This is a place to discover local wines and explore international options. If unsure, get a flight so you can taste a nice range, then go from there. The pic of the bottle of Sleight of Hand was taken at home but I bought it at the Wine Spot.

Used to be Moose Canyon Winery. Much prefer the current format. Different tastings every week (I believe) so you get to try a much broader variety of wines. I'm more of a Reds (especially Cabs) person but like to keep trying it all. They offered a nice variety today, a 2008 Villa Matilde, Falanghina Roca De Leoni, that was very nice. Another white and two reds (see pic), I'm sure I would never had otherwise tried. Good part is you'll always be able try new stuff. A nice variety of munchies along with some REALLY good truffle. After all, wine without chocolate is just...well...pointless. Tastings and glasses are very affordable, owner's a sweetheart. Definitely worth the try.

We were out celebrating my buddy's birthday today, and started out next door for some smokes and drinks. I had a plan for some choices for his bday dinner, and he opted with Ms. Jane's inside BJ's Casino. First off... this place is very elegant with a fine dining experience. Secondly, Cassandra was absolutely superb!! We all thoroughly had an amazing experience, from the drinks, appetizers, to our entrees, and the service. The Lavender Martini was top notch, and we also ordered the White Mojito. That mojito was crisp and refreshing! Two spectacular cocktails. As for our meals, undeniably unbelievable!! I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye, with Garlic Potatoes and crisp Broccolini. So crisp and a unique almost vinaigrette flavoring, with a subtle spice. As a side, we ordered the Thousand Layer Potato. My first time ever having this, but seen how it was made on a video. Simply divine. My wife ordered the Braised Bison over Polenta, with some Carrots. This is the tastiest Bison we've ever had!! We finished the evening with a Dubai Chocolate Fudge Sunday, and Cassandra gave us each a spoon to share in this decadence. Needless to say, my buddy had an incredible day of celebration! Thank you for this wonderful experience! As always, Enjoy & Happy Birthday, Wazowski!

Turns out it's the former, at least in atmosphere. The service was genuinely lovely from start to finish. The host, server, and table assistants were warm and attentive. No notes there. We went with the ribeye prix fixe, which felt like the obvious call given that Ms. Jane's has built its reputation around it. The menu included a salad, two ribeyes with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and dessert for $150 plus wine. The salad was beautiful and delicious. It just could've used some cheese, and I will die on that hill. The mashed potatoes were legitimately outstanding and nearly redeemed the entire evening on their own. The broccoli was fine. Broccoli is always just fine. Then there were the ribeyes. They were enormous, beautifully presented, and unfortunately not much else. Both cuts had an excessive amount of fat and lacked the depth of flavor you'd expect from a restaurant that's staked its identity on this one dish. We make better steaks at home, which is not something you want to be thinking about after dropping $150 before wine. Dessert closed things out on a high note. A chocolate and vanilla mousse topped with genuinely delicate whipped cream. In the moment we told ourselves we'd come back and try something else. A few days of reflection later, that enthusiasm cooled but it didn't disappear entirely. The service was too good, the mashed potatoes too memorable, and the mousse too solid to write the place off completely. Ms. Jane's clearly has something going on. We just hope the ribeye isn't the thing they're most proud of.

We stopped by on Sunday as their happy hour looks great and this is one of very few places that serve a Jucy Lucy. I got the beef onion bisque while my boyfriend got the Jucy Lucy. The soup was super salty, I could barely eat it as it just felt like I was slurping salt. There was also barely any meat in there and just lots of onion. The bruschetta that came with it was nice. The Jucy Lucy was the star though and it was delicious. The fries that came with it as well as their fry sauce was absolutely amazing. The service was okay. It seemed not too busy and it seemed like there was a table ahead of us in terms of receiving their food but it took some time. I did ask the waitress for some lemons for my water but she forgot and they checked on us twice. She did drop off a huge bottle of water when she noticed my boyfriend's glass was half empty. The decor here felt like a modern-rustic feel and they had some great music playing. The lighting is an intimate dim where you can see everyone and where you are going. The bathrooms here was clean and organized. I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items and drinks but was disappointed with my soup.

The Host staff seemed confused, but they got us seated for our 6:30 reservation by 6:40 (plenty of tables were available). The restaurant looks sort of like a dispirited college dining hall. We were seated but weren't provided with any roll-ups, containing silverware. After a while, though, we were each given a paper napkin -- that was nice. The menu looks as though it was selected by somebody who has just stopped trying. When our waiter came by, she was cheerful, but I suspect that was in recognition that we'd need cheering up just from the fact that we were sitting there. The wine options are few; we tried two of them -- neither was what I would call good, let alone very good. We sent one back and asked for a whisky sour in its place. Our waiter looked at us with suddenly sad eyes and told us that the quality of the mixed drinks really wasn't very good but that if we didn't like it, she'd be happy to take it off the bill. The food arrived after a long wait. It was. . . OK. Definitely edible! Time for the check, and I asked our waiter to take the whisky sour off the bill. She brightened up! Good news! She had never put it on there in the first place, as she knew it wouldn't be any good. Will we return to Muckleshoot Restaurant? No. Just, no. Never. Please, no.
