What an amazing establishment!! Ms. Jane's is 5 Star all day long! Such a pleasant surprise for our little group today. We were out celebrating my buddy's birthday today, and started out next door for some smokes and drinks. I had a plan for some choices for his bday dinner, and he opted with Ms. Jane's inside BJ's Casino. First off... this place is very elegant with a fine dining experience. Secondly, Cassandra was absolutely superb!! We all thoroughly had an amazing experience, from the drinks, appetizers, to our entrees, and the service. The Lavender Martini was top notch, and we also ordered the White Mojito. That mojito was crisp and refreshing! Two spectacular cocktails. As for our meals, undeniably unbelievable!! I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye, with Garlic Potatoes and crisp Broccolini. So crisp and a unique almost vinaigrette flavoring, with a subtle spice. As a side, we ordered the Thousand Layer Potato. My first time ever having this, but seen how it was made on a video. Simply divine. My wife ordered the Braised Bison over Polenta, with some Carrots. This is the tastiest Bison we've ever had!! We finished the evening with a Dubai Chocolate Fudge Sunday, and Cassandra gave us each a spoon to share in this decadence. Needless to say, my buddy had an incredible day of celebration! Wow! Hidden gem! Michelin trained chefs, great service, great food and great atmosphere. The food and wine were fantastic! Great find! Do not let the location turn you away. We almost did, but so glad we searched for it! Even the restrooms are spotless and modern! It's tucked away upstairs, a total hidden gem.
I got to experience this hidden gem inside of BJs casino with my wife for Valentine's Day. It was great they had a special menu, lovely heart shaped table settings with other lovely Valentine's Day themed decor. Our waiter and the staff were so pleasant and kind. The food was cooked with so much care and such precision. I gave back feedback and could tell they listened. I will have to return for the regular menu and I can't wait. Only downside was that with it being inside the casino at the top of the stairs prior to entering it still smelled like smoke but everything else was superb!
This place makes fine dining accessible to the masses. Beautiful restaurant, although the scent of smoke from next doors cigar room is quite strong. Quiet, peaceful, clean and the employees go out of their way to cater to your needs. The ladies were all phenomenal. Extra steps like amouse bouche and flavored waters took the experience to another level. Burgers were delicious. The pistachio Brie (add bacon) was so good I can't find words to describe it. The n/a affogato was life changing, kept us wide awake on the drive home. Our random night out adventure trying to find a nice sit down restaurant lead us here, and thank goodness. This was easily one of our best date nights. Thanks to the hard working crew that put this place together
Definitely not what we expected. Fine Dining in Fife. Employees were very friendly and informative. The menu is simple and not overwhelming. My wife ordered Pan Seared Scallops, Picanha and Stawberry Shortcake. I ordered Beef Carpaccio, Filet Mignon, and Peanut butter layer cake. We ordered Duckhorn Melot, one of my favorite wine. My wife stated Picanha was over cooked so I switched meals with her. She enjoyed the Filet and stated the best Scallops she has eaten ever. Either I didnt notice but the view was not the greatest. Still I'm more about the food than virws. Highly recommend this place.
Ms. Jane's Fine Dining offers an ambitious menu, but execution was inconsistent during my visit. The beef carpaccio was the weakest dish of the night. It tasted dry with a slightly metallic note, lacking the freshness, tenderness, and clean flavor that define a good carpaccio. In contrast, the Stone Fruit and Burrata Salad was excellent and easily the standout. The burrata was fresh and creamy, and the overall flavor profile was balanced, bright, and well composed. The champagne-infused Dungeness crab pasta was disappointing. A well-made crab pasta should taste clean, lightly sweet, and delicate, with the crab enhancing the sauce. Instead, this dish arrived with an overly strong fishy aroma, which immediately raised concerns about freshness. The sauce tasted like a basic, bland Alfredo, with no noticeable brightness or complexity to justify the "champagne-infused" description. Service was adequate but minimal. I was seated on time and food arrived reasonably quickly, but staff checked in only once, which felt inattentive. Overall, while the menu shows promise, the meal lacked consistency, with only one dish truly delivering on its potential.
We booked a reservation at Ms. Jane's for date night, and I'll admit the concept had me curious. Fine dining inside a bingo hall is either a stroke of genius or a dare someone actually followed through on. Turns out it's the former, at least in atmosphere. The service was genuinely lovely from start to finish. The host, server, and table assistants were warm and attentive. No notes there. We went with the ribeye prix fixe, which felt like the obvious call given that Ms. Jane's has built its reputation around it. The menu included a salad, two ribeyes with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and dessert for $150 plus wine. The salad was beautiful and delicious. It just could've used some cheese, and I will die on that hill. The mashed potatoes were legitimately outstanding and nearly redeemed the entire evening on their own. The broccoli was fine. Broccoli is always just fine. Then there were the ribeyes. They were enormous, beautifully presented, and unfortunately not much else. Both cuts had an excessive amount of fat and lacked the depth of flavor you'd expect from a restaurant that's staked its identity on this one dish. We make better steaks at home, which is not something you want to be thinking about after dropping $150 before wine. Dessert closed things out on a high note. A chocolate and vanilla mousse topped with genuinely delicate whipped cream. In the moment we told ourselves we'd come back and try something else. A few days of reflection later, that enthusiasm cooled but it didn't disappear entirely. The service was too good, the mashed potatoes too memorable, and the mousse too solid to write the place off completely. Ms. Jane's clearly has something going on. We just hope the ribeye isn't the thing they're most proud of.
Our lunch was fabulous, service was amazing, all of the food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic! All of the staff were very attentive, the restaurant wasn't too busy or loud, drinks and meals came in a timely manner, we will definitely be returning, i really enjoyed it here, and the service was exceptional
A Hidden Gem in Fife! Ms Jane's is such a great find. It's upstairs from BJ's Bingo, and once inside, the restaurant is beautifully decorated--we especially loved the artwork. Right away we were offered a choice of infusions for our water, which was a lovely touch. The amuse-bouche was delicious and a nice surprise. The cocktails and wine list were great, and everyone loved their food--flavorful and beautifully presented. The hospitality is what truly sets Ms. Jane's apart. Our server Alex was super friendly and attentive. The hospitality of all of the staff really made the experience. Can't wait to go back!
Honestly....amazing. I don't think I could give more stars for such an incredible culinary experience. It meets the best of best that I've eaten at across the globe. Everything was so on point ..... and amazing. ....now for the honest truth....not deducting stars because it was that good....but, you gotta get over the location. Not a bad location, but for those not wanting to go to a casino, well, just trust me to get upstairs and settled in to one of the best restaurants in the entire Seattle region. Take a flyer and just go. I hope we support regional cuisine that is amazing. We will be back for sure.
Upon walking in we both were taken back by the beautifully clean setup there and that left me with high expectations. The seating was amazing and they even had a short stool they brought to the table for my wife's purse. We celebrated her birthday that evening and we had a neatly crafted note there waiting. There was only one other group there that evening and at one point we were the only ones there. That was one of the sticking points of concern. The wait for our food was really long and nobody really followed up with us and it seemed like it took a long time to get to different points of the dinner. A box for our food, a check, etc. The food was good. A little disappointed that a 70 dollar filet was a bit dry and chewy on the outside. Only a few center bites had some juice to the medium rare order. It lacked flavor as well in our opinion. The thousand layer potatoes were delicious. Nice and crunchy on the outside. Loved it. Got a side of green beans that were undercooked. Only had a couple and took them home knowing I'd need to cook them more. The lamb chops were great. Polar opposite of my order, left me wishing it had the same care the chops had. Her Brussels sprouts were on point as well. The mashed potatoes were really wet and bland. The crunchy outside were the only desirable points to that side. They gave a little amuse' bouche which was probably the best thing brought to our table. A chip of some sort with different things on top. Wow. So much going on and throughout the bite it brought all the flavors of what it was comprised of. Amazing. Out of the park. Had a white wine flight. Seemed standard. Nothing to write home about. A birthday ice cream which had been molded with happy birthday on it was impressive. I have been seeing this highly rated restaurant for a while and my husband wanted to check it out on a Sunday, so we made a reservation and they took us right away. We were the only people in the dining room for lunch the entire time until our last 10 mins. This restaurant is inside a casino in Fife. Parking is interesting, and the casino itself is in the middle of a reno so it looks a bit messy but otherwise it is fine. Kudos to them for trying to make the outside section nice because the view kind of kills it. Pros - it's a very nicely designed space. The hostess and our waitress were so nice and welcoming, even giving me a stool for my bag (and it wasn't even my fanciest bag lol!) Overall, the restaurant is nice, the food seems to be mostly fresh and good quality and service was nice. I actually quite enjoyed my ribeye, despite our broccolinni having no almonds, as stated on the menu. My affogato was good, and the cake frosting and flavors were good. Cons - I say these with love...but we both feel the kitchen was not up to par, or the main chef was off, or something happened because there were quite a few mishaps during our visit. The appetizers were good, but the scallops needed salt and I would not pair them with pineapple, personally. The calamari weren't the most tender, and the breading was interesting - it's definitely not your typical breading, it suited a fish and chips dish better. The sweet and spicy sauce served with it is from trader Joe's...I know because I've bought it before, so I don't believe it's house made. Like I previously stated, the broccolinni was missing the almonds, and the carrots on the side that I ordered for $13 were so embarrassing that the waitress came back after serving us and told us that she spoke to the manager and got those off our bill. That's how ridiculous they were, so thank you to her for having good values at work. While I liked my steak, it was very, very fatty, and my husband asked for medium rare and definitely got medium well. Lastly, the pink champagne cake was disappointing, not because it was yucky, but because the cake itself was clearly days old, and had been freshly frosted. It was tough, dry and stale, while the frosting was fresh and light. Overall, I can see coming back but I'm in no rush due to the price/location/overall food. read more

This is THE BEST dinner I've ever had. I almost cried while eating. I had a Wagyu NY Strip served with a mushroom bourbon cream sauce, 1000 layer potatoes, delicately prepared baby carrots. Service was BEYOND! Shannon (male) was amazing! We were celebrating my husband's birthday and Shannon made everyone feel special and everything was executed perfectly. read more

The service was the best ever and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced for the perfect dinner. Try the wine flights. Great choices. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the other dishes were delicious according to the other diners. This place needs to be more well known. Inside a casino but the stairs and elevator are close to the doors. read more

Good, service, attention to detail, delicious food and finally somewhere to go that proudly serves Native food! We are absolutely excited about that. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that all of our photos were taken of leftovers / to go food at home. Please trust that it was all originally plated beautifully, ignore the take out containers! The service was perfection, our waiter was so kind and friendly and just made us feel welcomed and special. We never had to ask for anything twice and he served us as a really great pace.... Letting us enjoy the dinner and take our time but also not making us wait between courses or drinks. The chef came and checked on us which is a really nice touch, but I suspect this place will be really busy in the coming year so he may not always have time for that. The welcoming staff and everyone that we passed was just super friendly. If we had just one piece if constructive criticism, we would suggest a lot heavier seasoning of just salt and pepper on the steak. We had the ribeyes which were cooked to perfection but just needed heavier seasoning. Still really, really good especially with the bourbon sauce. Try not to lick the bowl of sauce at the end. It's that good. The peanut butter layer cake was decadent and a wonderful treat that we shared at home. The bottom layer was overcooked just a tad but the overall dish was just to die for! Please do yourself a favor and try the Mountains Out cocktail. It's like nothing you've ever tried. Visually a beautiful drink and the blackberry puree / cream combo is just too good. Make sure you save room and calories for multiple! They provided complimentary coat check and also a small stool to set my purse on which was a very nice touch I have never seen even at restaurants at twice the price. Very impressed with that. Beautiful clean space, not crowded at all on a Saturday evening at 7pm. They need to get the word out about this gem! This is fine dining in Fife which is rare... try it. read more

Where do I even start... Ms Jane's restaurant was amazing. From beginning to end! All staffs we encountered were friendly and very informative. I had made reservations here for my cousins birthday and she raves about it as well. Inside was very clean and what you would think of when you read fine dining. We had a new waiter who had started his first day that day, but you couldn't tell because his service and manners were on point. Manager, which I believe her name was Tricia had one of the best hospitality in any restaurant I've tried. All dishes we had were beautifully presented and DELICIOUS. She had even made her specialty cocktail drinks for my two cousins and they loved it. I, myself had the maple brown espresso martini and was blown away, best I've had. Don't let the location fool you, it's nothing compared to what is inside! Ohhh, nice touch on the personalized menu with your very own name on it! Ms. Janes is a place where they combine true hospitality from the moment you arrive. They have coat service, and offer a purse stool!! When you walk in the room is inviting and intimately spaced. Service is above and beyond with water infusion choices! Two kinds of breads made in house and enough for the table to try! Drinks are amazing and the bite from the chef!!!!! The dishes are not just beautifully plated, they are delicious! This place seems to have endless moments of authentic touches they provide through the entire experience. read more
Wow! I was blown away!! Full disclosure, I came here for a Yelp event where we tried every dish on the menu and heard the inspiration behind each. Even knowing that, I was blown away. I ate the best salmon of my life. It's cooked in a charcoal oven, which gives it the texture of baked salmon but the flavor of smoked salmon. It was fantastic. The service was fantastic and each server seemed so nice and genuine. I also loved the "thousand layer potato", which is the restaurants take on a pave potato. It was quite literally the best potato I've ever eaten. It comes with their filet mignon. The prices are not cheap, but to me it quite reasonable for the elevation of food and service you get. I will most certainly be back with my girlfriend so she can experience it as well! The only thing I would critique is trying to figure out how to limit the affect of the cigar lounge next door. When sitting next to the door, I could tell the next door with a cigar lounge due to the smell. If you love cigars this may be a perk, but personally I would ask to be seated further back. All in all, I will be back. I'm not a gambler and this restaurant is in a casino... and yet... I was so impressed that I will happily be back with my girlfriend for her to try too! read more

Had a great date night with my babe last week. We had an exquisite dinner at Ms. Janes Fine Dining. From service of my first glass of water to the last bite of dessert..an unforgettable experience, supporting indigenous business, and supporting a friends dream come true. Fine dining at its best is now in the south sound. I tried things I normally wouldn't and was not disappointed. Cant wait to go back. My opinion of fine dining has been changed!!!! Wow! Where do I begin? Came to Ms. Jane's on the recommendation of a friend, and I will definitely be coming back! To start, I was in awe of the ambiance of the restaurant. It was absolutely beautiful and had uniquely gorgeous artwork and a charming fireplace. For an appetizer, I started with the uncrostini, a mozzarella foam on a delicatable bread crumble. It was so good and great to share! I had the spaghetti for dinner, and it was so flavorful. I also had dessert, although I barely had room. I tried the peanut butter cake, and I've never had one quite like this. It was so good, highly recommend! If you want to go out for wonderful food and an amazing dining experience, you have to try this place!!! read more

What a great dinning experience we had today 12/08/24. Went here to celebrate my friend's birthday which is 12/11. Beautiful decor and ambiance. We had a total of 12 people. The service from each staff was top notch. Friendly from start to finish. They always made sure our drinks were topped off. The chef came out and talked about the restaurant and history. The food came out and again I was blown away. Food was flavorful and delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly the way I liked it. Overall the experience was above and beyond what I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a business dinner or date night. read more

Words cannot describe this but I will try. The attentiveness and special touch by the staff is incomparable. You will find this nowhere else and IT IS SPECIAL. The food is top notch. The best. The Amuse-Bouche (small bite sent from the chef) is incredible and the story they give when serving it is immersed in Native history and heart warming. Next was the Beef Carpaccio appetizer. Fantastic flavors and presentation. For dinner, we had the Filet Mignon and Picanhe and shared Scallops. Somebody stop me!!! Pretty sure I could've cut my filet with a spoon. The flavors for both dishes are so good. The potato side dishes (me-1000 layer potatoes, him - fingerling) are the best we've had. So much flavor-and don't even get me started on the 1000 Layer . Dessert was the Peanut Butter Canoe cake and a blackberry cream cheese swirl Brownie. Sinful. Both outstanding. They also brought us out a dessert from the Chef/Staff in honor of our anniversary. What a nice gesture! The chocolate mousse even said Happy Anniversary on the top! I forgot to mention that our menus when we opened them up had Happy 10 Year Anniversary on the top. We are so thankful for the recent addition of this unpretentious fine dining experience offered at Ms. Janes. Located upstairs in BJ's Bingo & Gaming, the decor and scale is similar to an upscale Vegas style restaurant, but with a Native American theme. We found attention to detail at every turn from the furnishings, to the the menu, the service, and especially the food. We came for dinner on a Thursday night and appreciated the relaxing, quiet atmosphere that made conversation easy. The menu is diverse and is assured to please everyone with unique offerings such as Picanha steak, Foie Gras, and Braised Bison, but also includes more simple entree's entree's like Josper cooked Salmon, and Cheese Burgers. Chef Josh's classic French training shows in the artistry of his plating presentations and overall quality of the dish. We started with Calamari that was done perfectly, shortly followed by a complimentary amuse-bouche of clam fritter. I choose the Filet Mignon Oscar style that melted in my mouth, accompanied by 1000 layer potatoes topped with young carrots. My wife had the Pistachio crusted Lamb Chops done perfectly accompanied by Duchess Potatoes, and tender asparagus spears. Desert offerings are house made and sure to please every sweet tooth. We are so thankful for the recent addition of this unpretentious experience offered at Ms. Janes.
