    Biscuits & Gravy with fruit
    Foxx I.

The place is very cute & quaint...but the food & the hostess needs improving. The hostess comes off rude. Maybe it's her tone when she greets people. And when you don't have reservation, she literally turns her nose on you, with attitude. Anyways, my service was excellent. My waitress deserves a pay raise I wish I could remember her name. We had ordered Biscuits & Gravy and Country Fried Steak. We also got a side of fruit, cranberry mimosa and coffee. CFS was ok, gravy was good, potatoes were ok. The food tasted like it was cooked in an Air Fryer. Now the biscuits and gravy is the probably the worse I ever had. It was dry, not enough gravy. The bacon was limp and greasy. At least the fruit was different. It had pineapple, cantaloupe, and grapes. Mimosa was good, but I wish I was asked if I wanted less juice. The coffee was just gross. The ambiance was nice. Will I come back here, probably not, but if I do I know what not to get.

We were in town visiting family, and they made a dinner reservation for us at The Windmill Bistro. The restaurant has a charming and inviting atmosphere, blending rustic touches with a bit of modern flair. The spacious interior features a cozy fireplace, while the shaded outdoor garden is perfect for outdoor dining. Overall, it has a warm and welcoming feel. Our server, Kehu, was friendly and attentive, always ready with recommendations and checking in at just the right moments. They have a simple , one page menu but offers a nice variety of options. We ordered the following: Coconut Prawns with Sweet Chili - crisp, light, and straightforward. Harvest Bowl with Salmon - my dish; very healthy and hearty, but so filling I couldn't finish it. Open-Faced Crab Melt - flavorful but a little too rich for my taste. Pork chop w/ side of squash mac & cheese - my boyfriend's choice, and he really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The Windmill Bistro feels like a small-town gem, serving fresh ingredients in a cozy, charming setting.

Jake the bartender is the best. Not to mention the owner, she is a a saint. I've been coming to windmill bistro every few weeks for about a year and only can rave about it. The food is amazing. There's truly not one thing you can order that's bad. My go to is their breakfast burrito. I have an egg allergy and they are always able to accommodate it and make this burrito so so good. Their homemade salsa, I wish I could buy by the jar! I'd suggest getting a reservation for breakfast/brunch as they do fill up and stay busy. Sometimes you can get lucky and sit at the bar (hello Jake!). The bar seating is spacious and the bar menus fantastic. Their coffee is to dream about. Truly everything about windmill is great!

Brunch here was so yummy!! Would definitely recommend this place. Ordered four meals and all were very good. Fresh, hot, and we all finished all of our food. My husband said it was one of the best breakfasts he's had in a long time -- and probably the best Benedict he's ever had. Great large drink selection (of alcohol and non-alcoholic options). Service was good. We sat outside on the patio which was nice. Tables are spaced apart so you can enjoy your conversation.

Excellent food at this quaint place. From the outside it r looks small, but inside they're are plenty of tables. Currently it's decorated with holiday decor which is beautifully done. The food was fantastic. We had the braised short rib stroganof with homemade pasta. The beef was fork tender and melt in your mouth. I had the panko fish and chips. So fresh with homemade tater sauce and the best fries. We we definitely be back for breakfast as I've heard it's also top tiered. Tip... this restaurant is also on the Alaska atmos dining, so if you get a reservation through the app and dine here you get alaska points.

Top notch food, great dinner! Cute and cozy little spot. I see why they take reservations as the place isn't huge but it stays busy. We had reservations on a Wednesday night and there were only a couple of tables open. I don't usually drink alcohol but their drinks sounded so good I had to try one, now I want to go back to try more! They only had 3 dessert options which was maybe the only downside. We got the pumpkin cheesecake and it was ok but nothing super exciting. Loved the seasonal feel of the food and drinks (we went in the fall). Definitely recommend, looking forward to going back myself!

Have you ever walked into an establishment for the 1st time and really hoped the food was not just good but EXCELLENT. I walked in with high hopes because the ambiance, the staff, the everything I saw was A1. I do blame myself a wee bit for ordering a burger at what appears to be a breakfast place. But this burger was absolutely terrible in my honest and humble opinion. Not only did the burger lack taste but it was cooked all the way through. Only time I'm ok w/ it not being cooked all the way through is if its a ground up prime rib or something. In this case it appeared to be standard 85/15 ground beef. Based on the burger style my guess is it comes frozen. The Fries were a bit greasy but they were WONDERFUL. Because everything else was pretty good, I still gave it 3 star and I would come back for breakfast, as it appears breakfast is what they specialize in. My bill came to 52 + 10 tip = $62. Little disappointing, I left still hungry but no body's perfect.

We loved The Windmill Bistro so much we had to try them out for lunch and dinner. Both dining experiences were definitely noteworthy. For our dinner experience, we dined outside on a Friday night. We both ordered the halibut (sorry i dont remember the name on the menu) and was soft throughout. My husband is trying to get more into seafood and he loved the halibut. For our lunch experience, we dined inside on a separate Friday with a friend. Our friend even liked the food. I ordered the Croissant Sandwich (sadly dont remember the name and the menu has changed than whats displayed in pictured. Its been weeks since we visited). Both my husband and I copied each other yet again, but we absolutely loved it. My friend ordered the Cauliflower Tacos. Very flavorful and delicious is what my friend noted. We had calamari as a starter and was super crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. More of a garlic flavor than lemon, which I love. Ambiance... best i can describe is an aesthetic. It has a homey feeling. Even the bathrooms were clean, cute, and aesthetically pleasing lol. Service has been great both experiences. Separate servers and both were super friendly. Overall, I definitely recommend! We will come back again either for lunch or dinner.

Breakfast burrito is the Bomb! So good with the green chili salsa to dip them in! Service is always a plus here. No exception today. We could have eaten outside but they accommodated our party of 8 inside as it was a little chilly this afternoon- thank you!

Is this a place I could take a group (probably with a res), of about 15-20, including kids? thx.

They probably could carve out a section for you. I would call far in advance to make sure they can setup the back area for the large group.

We stopped by on Sunday as their happy hour looks great and this is one of very few places that serve a Jucy Lucy. I got the beef onion bisque while my boyfriend got the Jucy Lucy. The soup was super salty, I could barely eat it as it just felt like I was slurping salt. There was also barely any meat in there and just lots of onion. The bruschetta that came with it was nice. The Jucy Lucy was the star though and it was delicious. The fries that came with it as well as their fry sauce was absolutely amazing. The service was okay. It seemed not too busy and it seemed like there was a table ahead of us in terms of receiving their food but it took some time. I did ask the waitress for some lemons for my water but she forgot and they checked on us twice. She did drop off a huge bottle of water when she noticed my boyfriend's glass was half empty. The bathrooms here was clean and organized. I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items and drinks but was disappointed with my soup.

We live in the area and it has taken us over 3 years to finally try it and the talk about it being ok and expensive is true. The menu honestly doesn't have much variety on it. For a simple pasta with chicken to cost $28 is insane especially when the chicken itself has no flavor or seemingly any seasoning. I want so badly for this area to have good restaurants, because sometimes I don't feel like cooking but it's just not worth it when food can be made at home that tastes the same or better for a fraction of the price.

You choose meat combos that fit your group size, which makes the experience feel more intentional and higher quality. The portions were generous, fresh, and perfect for grilling right at the table. The banchan (side dishes) were served to us, and whenever we needed more, our server brought them straight to the table -- no getting up to serve yourself. That level of service really stood out. You also have the option to order from the main menu if you don't prefer cooking on your own, which makes it great for everyone at the table. The variety of soups was another plus -- served family-style and perfect for 2-3 people to share. And the best part? If you have leftovers, you can take them to go -- something you don't get with buffet-style places. I was especially happy that our combo came with a big beef bone. I got to bring it home for my dog, and she was beyond excited! Shoutout to our server, Tae, who was superb and provided excellent customer service.
