I have to add that I am not a big fan of breakfast joints but once in a while I would make an exception since my sister loves breakfast diner. She recently discovered this place and has been complimenting on how good this place was so I had to check it out. It sits in a very nice neighborhood, in a plaza with other establishment, so there's ample parking spaces. Upon entering the restaurant, you seat yourself to any available tables or booth. The waitress was so nice and extremely efficient, she definitely got it down. I ordered the chicken fried steak to see what the hype was all about from my sister. I have to say that it was probably the best chicken fried steak that I've eaten before. It was crispy, hot and not salty at all. It was perfect. Portions were decent and the price was reasonable. The French toast was sooooo good, it had the right amount of fluff and powdered sugar, it was so good. I would come back here again and totally recommend this place. read more

Excellent stop. Comfort food, breakfast, dinner entrees. Quality, tasty food well prepared. Good portion size. Located at the end of a strip mall, the lot is shared with other businesses. Seat yourself in a booth or table. Walls are decorated in historic photos from the area. Everything was clean and tidy. The waitress brought waters, menus, silverware and napkins. She was very bubbly and quiye capable. The diner offers coke products. The Philly cheese steak was very tasty. I am told "there are a lot of flavors going on in there." The broccoli cheddar soup was tasty, creamy and not salty. The vegetable omlette is fluffy and stuffed with veg. Not seasoned, salt & pepper are on the table along with ketchup, jelly and creamer. The potatoes were grilled crisp and the english muffin was also grilled. Newer restrooms are at the back past the seating. They are clean and there is no diaper station. I got to come here for breakfast while I was visiting my family in the PNW. It is a fantastic diner with ample seating, beautiful views and yummy food. I got Dad's Omelet with hash browns and sourdough toast. Wow, was it yummy. Our server was friendly and attentive to make sure our drinks stayed full. Came in during a rush. The waitress was an absolute champ at managing the rush herself. There was a wait to be seated, no biggie. The chef was cheffing it up, the food was delicious. Fluffy pancakes were large and steamy. We also got the mom's mess and the country fried steak, the mom's mess was crispy, nice and hot and the country fried steak was claimed to be the best my partner has had. Worst experience at a diner since we have moved Washington. We had to wait for a table eventhou there were empty tables that were not clean and seemed put out that we expected a table without dirty dishes. After that it seemed normal until the food arrived. The pancakes were cold and the waiter was upset that I asked for hot food. He returned very quickly with the same stack of pancakes that they heated in a microwave but he lied about that. YES!!! I will say that it is up there price wise but today's world that's just what it is. It is 100% worth it though. A comparison. I paid the same amount of money for a group of three at IHOP! And we all know that IHOP is not worth it. ;) If you like chicken fried steak it's the best I've ever had and I always get the eggs perfect! My husband and I like them cooked between medium and hard and they've never been done wrong. (That's rare trust me!) The coffee is dark but very smooth with no bitter aftertaste. Iced tea is fresh and cold. I have not yet had their burgers but I've heard good things about them. I do want to try their fish and chips. So if you're in this sweet little community check them out and it's actually worth the drive from anywhere. read more

So disappointed. Breakfast for 2. There was one other guest when we arrived. 2 breakfasts; biscuits & sausage gravy with hash browns, corned beef hash. 2 big biscuits with thin covering of gravy. Gravy had no sausage flavor; tasted like out of a gallon can sold at restaurant supply store & hash browns were not cooked through. Plates were not heated. Corned beef hash was few small slices corned beef stir fried with shredded hash browns & onions; was in a light pool of grease. Poached eggs were perfect, cup of fruit consisting of cantaloupe, honeydew & grapes (cantaloupe tasted of mold). Best part of this $45. Breakfast was coffee & 50's music. This cozy diner is just steps away from the beach, meaning you'll likely have breakfast with a side of a nice view. I was visiting family in Browns Point and we started our day with breakfast from this diner. I'm a sucker for diner food, so I was instantly excited. I ordered the Western Omelette, but I had them swap the ham for bacon. For my bread choice, I went with a biscuit. I was impressed by the jam options our server rambled off, but settled on blackberry jam. Overall, I was totally impressed by my meal. The portions were generous and the omelette was stuffed with veggies and bacon. My dining companions seemed very pleased with their meals as well. I hope to return to Browns Point soon, and I'm positive and future trips will include a visit to this diner! read more

I can't comment on food, ambiance etc. Why? because we never made it to a table. I get your busy, I even understand that you are short handed. I am a very patient person however, when your customers walk through the door (and yes we are customers) have the decency to inform us of the delay in seating. "Hi, there will be a 15 min wait"...(for example). Not.... we'll be right with you ...and then leave us hanging for 30 minutes. It did however give us the opportunity to watch your (un-organized) kitchen staff correct wrong order after wrong order with their bare hands?? WHAT?? .....We bailed at that point. read more

I can't believe I just found out about this place after living in the area for 10 years! We showed up at 8:00 am on a Sunday, when they opened and there was already a crowd. I got the eggs Benedict and it was delicious! The eggs were Perfect. My husband got the Big Breakfast and it definitely was a large amount of food. He's a lover of eggs, and most places we go to have pre-mixed egg batter. He was definitely able to tell that his scrambled eggs were fresh and loved it. The pancakes stole the show. There's this crispy ring on the outside that we can explain, but it made it so delicious! We'd definitely come back and add some berries to it next time. This spot has a darling little diner in the front, and a bar in the back. Unfortunately, when we stopped in for dinner at 6:00pm, they would not seat anyone in the diner, so we were stuck sitting in the bar next to a bunch of loud, drunk 40+ something's who were clearly missing being in their 20's. The food was very mediocre. We ordered basic burgers and fries. The burger was bland, as they had not seasoned the meat at all. How about a little salt & pepper, folks? They also said it had thousand island dressing on it. Which is normally ok, but when it came, it had horseradish sauce mixed in with it. Which tasted really odd and tainted the entire dish. The bun was not toasted, so it just disintegrated into the sauce and created a mushy wet mess. The fries were obviously cooked from frozen, and also had no seasoning. The wait staff were nice enough, but they were also working the bar, so they weren't really there to create a welcoming dinner experience. I would recommend going to this diner only during lunch hours, if you actually want to be able to sit in the diner. Skip the fries and get soup/salad instead, and ask to be able to add your own condiments if you want to avoid the weird sauce. And maybe sprinkle some salt & pepper on the burger before you eat it. Good diner food. We were staying nearby, so it was convenient. The bloody mary was potent, so if you're looking for that, it's good. I prefer a little more tomato flavor. Husband had the omelette chile verde, which was really good, and huge! They even did his omelette soft, as he requested. My corned beef hash was also huge, and the corned beef in small pieces, which I like. Eggs over easy perfect. Side biscuit was inedible, and made me glad I didn't order biscuits and gravy. Had a delicious brunch and a great experience the other day - the perfect follow-up to a hike through Dash Point State Park. Browns Point has an unpretentious, low-key diner vibe that's hard to find these days for us Seattlites, and I loved it. Everyone was super friendly, food and coffee were served quickly, and the food was delicious and exactly what we hoped for from a diner brunch. I had the "Mom's Mess" scramble, which had a great balance of sausage, bacon, hash browns, onions, and other ingredients. My brother said the "Dad's Omelette" was the best omelette he's had in a long time - he commented that it had ample amounts of three different kinds of cheeses, which held everything together like an egg quesadilla, so probably a good choice for cheese-lovers. My sister enjoyed her corned beef hash, and we all loved the fluffy half-stack of pancakes that we shared. While we probably negated all of the fitness benefits of our 4-mile walk through Dash Point, this brunch was totally worth it. We came in with a larger group due to a baseball tournament going on close by and the hostess/waitress upfront seems upset and they literally went and asked the chef if he could handle our party size (10). She kept giving us dirty looks and it was very uncomfortable for us. They only had one or two other tables in when we came around lunchtime. However they then sat as in the back close to the bar. The waitress that ended up helping us was extremely nice and friendly. The food came out in a timely manner and it was soo good. everyone was stating how good it was. Came in today (3/17/24) around 1:50PM - an hour and 10 minutes before close. It was our first time eating here after 4 years of living in the area, and we were excited! They already had the closed sign out, and when we opened the door to see if we were okay to come in, we were greeted with an "UGHHH. WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL COMING IN" by one of the hostesses. What a great place for Breakfast. Met a good friend here while in town and was treated to great service and food. I had the corn beef hash and eggs. Very tasty and the perfect amount. The coffee was good and flowing. Think I must have powered down 5 cups while there. The interior was very nice and diner like. Nothing too fancy. I did take a walk to the back area which had a bar and additional tables. Would be a great spot for a Bloody Mary and breakfast on a Sunday. Unfortunately I live in Portland and unlikely to return. I have such conflicted feelings with this place. It's the local, neighborhood diner so I want it to do well. We keep going because my preschooler loves it and their breakfasts are good. My problem is with getting dinner. It always an hour, or close to an hour, to get food. Every. Single. Time. The problem is they have one grill for the diner and the attached bar (The Sandbar) in the back. They need a bigger kitchen and/or another grill and cook. Also, when you finally get your dinner, it isn't that special. It's not bad, they have MUCH better fries now, but it's not great either. Their "sliders" are a hoagie roll cut into thirds, the beef on the French dip is dry, and the grilled cheese is a little greasy.
