My husband and I have wanted to stop by the Milton Lodge for sooo long now, and we finally had the chance to drop in recently. They were due to close at 11 (I believe) and we got there around 10, so it was a quick stop. Inside is cute and quaint and set up nicely to come by for a game or food with friends. We got to meet one of the owners, Chris, who was a personable and genuine guy. Always fun to be able to meet the faces behind the business! They had a solid selection of drinks to choose from and we definitely want to come back to try some of their food - I always see their signs promoting their specials. Brunch would be fun here! Before we took off, Chris also let us check out their private event space upstairs. It's homey, comfy, and would be a great spot to book out for a birthday party or even just a private gathering with friends. You're able to supply a budget to them and they'll figure out a catering game plan based off of your budget which I think is pretty cool. They also do have a small outdoor covered space that has a tv in it so that you can escape for fresh air but not miss anything if you're watching a game. We stopped by for lunch and it happened to be Taco Tuesday which made me very happy! I had the fish tacos and they were delish. Homemade crunchy tortillas were perfect and not greasy at all. I love the balance of ingredients on the tacos and the freshness. My husband loves a good Reuben sandwich and was blown away with delishness punch this sandwich delivered. I had been told this was "the place" to go whenever in Milton, so I happened to be in the area with family and we stopped... it was pretty empty the early afternoon we visited, only a few customers playing pulltabs in the bar. When the server came over, I mentioned this was my first visit, she took our drink order and I decided to try the cheese pizza, my sister ordered breakfast... eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and toast. When my pizza was set on the table, I literally sat stunned... over baked cheese, brown, toasted and when I tried to eat a slice, it was clearly it had sat under a heat lamp, and was luke warm. My sister liked her breakfast, but I only ate the slice of pizza. When the server came back asking if I wanted a box, I told her no... the pizza wasn't good at all. She took a 1.50 off the tab. Wow, I won't be returning. I guess, the first sign of an empty place should've been a clue. Nope, I won't be returning. Staying in the area and needed somewhere for supper. This place was close and we didn't have to go on the freeway. What a great choice. Lots of locals, so you know it's gotta be good. Husband had the fish & chips, really well done, nice crispy outside, perfectly done inside. Fries are super good! Fish & chips came with clam chowder and I gotta say, this can rival any clam chowder I've ever had. Nice and chunky with great flavor. I had the lodge melt with tots probably the best turkey melt I have ever had. Lots of turkey and great flavor. Tots were cooked perfectly, crispy outside, soft inside. Well, we ALL overlooked that - created a single line to grab a beverage - some even STILL ordered food! Shortly after - when the LINE WAS GONE....the Manager came out told us ALL to leave! First & For Most.... There customers service is Excellent!.... I mean who doesn't want the person serving them to not be fun and welcoming? Secondly, the Food is AMAZING... The French dip is GREAT!!! I am very particular with how fatty my meat is and how it is cooked. They nailed it. Lastly, the drinks are great & they are very assertive to making sure your never empty :).... I just went there last night actually... I enjoy being able to walk into an establishment and feel comfortable to be alone.... I like when locals give advice on what's best as well as employees. I for sure feel at home here and welcomed. My office is ordering lunch tomorrow from here. Be ready LOL.... My one suggestion is that there be something on the menu be something more for people that would like GF (maybe a cauliflower crust flat bread option) GF Bread for sandwich substitutions. read more

I've been here a few times for brunch and it's decent, however we recently visited for dinner and had a terrible experience. The waitress wasn't friendly and I had to chase her down to get new drinks... we also ordered a sandwich and pizza. After ~45 minutes I asked how much longer and the waitress tells us the had to heat-up the oven, which is why it's taking so long... 45 minutes later (now a total of 1.5 hrs after ordering) the waitress comes out and tells us the "chef" dropped our pizza and hands us a sandwich with burnt bread. She offered to remove the pizza and take 15% off the sandwich, but our dinner was ruined and we left to grab some fast food. They really need to fire the chef and get waitresses that care to be friendly and drinks full. read more

The Milton lodge is not rider or biker friendly. We always do a preride two weeks before our runs. Asked for the bar manager, a gal came out,was nice and thought it sounded good. Took down the info, and I thought we were set. When we arrived with 75 people, the bar tender started yelling at me, said they didn't no about it, then yelled at one of our riders who she recognized, who had nothing to do with it. She then called the owners in, then they started in on me. Apparently they think anyone with a patch on their back is flying club colors. We brought them hundreds in business, no one was rude, or loud, and they asked us to leave. Said it was bad business, because they weren't prepared. No one complained, but them. Honestly, this is probably my favorite bar or all time. The food is amazing, the staff is always on point. The owner obviously cares about her clients and staff. It's such a warm and inviting place to kick back. I would highly recommend stopping in if you're thinking about it. read more

I was so excited to try this place. I drive past here all the time. The food is ok but the service was horrible. We waited over 20 minutes to even see our server. We placed our order and it took over 45 minutes to get. The server came to us and said she was sorry there was a big to go order and that's why it was taking so long and it would only be another 4 minutes, it was 10. The problem with her excuse was people who arrived after us and had their order taken after us did receive their orders first and they ordered burgers just the same as us. Disappointing. read more

Today we came in for breakfast and one of the staff was wearing a mask. Customers walk in without a mask and don't put one on when leaving their tables. Used to come in here (prior to Covid) because a friend managed it. Food was good & drinks were a generous pour. We stopped by the other day & it was definitely an eye opener. We sat at one of the high tops & found the floor, table & chairs sticky. Our server greeted us immediately and took our drink order but didn't return to wipe the table down as requested. Food was pretty good, burgers cooked to our request but French fries were definitely cooked in old grease. I then used one of the restrooms and found it FILTHY, I seriously doubt it had been cleaned in weeks. We noticed several other patrons used the restroom and upon exiting commented about the dirty restrooms. One actually told her partner NOT to go in-lol. The Milton Lodge definitely needs a good cleaning, I doubt the state health department would even give it an "okay" at this point. recently went there while on a ride we were with a fairly large group. arrangents were made two weeks in advance as the ride was being finalized. we showed up and were asked to leave they said we never talked to them and because we were a motorcycle group we we're not welcome. they said we were wearing colors which ment we were a gang and we're not welcome. We are riders with the ABATE of Washington a motorcycle organization not a club . needles to say we were not welcome in their establishment. too bad they lost a lot of business that day. not recommended read more

I used frequent this spot after work but have since changed careers. It used to be great, however every time I come back I am pleasantly surprised to see it is still as cozy as always. Its relaxing and casual. Naomi is there on Mondays and provides excellent service, and remembers my preferences! I now go out of my way to visit, because no other bar is quite right. Service with a bit of attitude, although only person in front of house so I give her kiddos for bit coming across as stressed although there were only 8 other people when we were there and it was from 5 to 7.
