    Lodge Melt & tator tots

Staying in the area and needed somewhere for supper. This place was close and we didn't have to go on the freeway. What a great choice. Lots of locals, so you know it's gotta be good. Husband had the fish & chips, really well done, nice crispy outside, perfectly done inside. Fries are super good! Fish & chips came with clam chowder and I gotta say, this can rival any clam chowder I've ever had. Nice and chunky with great flavor. I had the lodge melt with tots probably the best turkey melt I have ever had. Lots of turkey and great flavor. Tots were cooked perfectly, crispy outside, soft inside. If you are in the area, definitely stop here, you won't be disappointed.

First & For Most.... There customers service is Excellent!.... I mean who doesn't want the person serving them to not be fun and welcoming? Secondly, the Food is AMAZING... The French dip is GREAT!!! I am very particular with how fatty my meat is and how it is cooked. They nailed it. Lastly, the drinks are great & they are very assertive to making sure your never empty :).... I just went there last night actually... I enjoy being able to walk into an establishment and feel comfortable to be alone.... I like when locals give advice on what's best as well as employees. I for sure feel at home here and welcomed. My office is ordering lunch tomorrow from here. Be ready LOL.... My one suggestion is that there be something on the menu be something more for people that would like GF (maybe a cauliflower crust flat bread option) GF Bread for sandwich substitutions.

    Pierce flatbread! My favorite!

Good food, casual atmosphere. Not the place if you're in a hurry, but nice people, good food and drinks. Food is really reasonably priced!

Brunch, Special menus for holidays, dinner, cocktails, dessert-it has all been top notch. This is a gem. Menu changes regularly so there is always something fresh and new. Prices may seem a little high for the area but the food and drink justify it. On my most recent visit we got 2 appetizers, two entrees (one was steak with shrimp add on), 3 desserts, and 5 cocktails for $250 which was not outrageous. Portion sizes are great. Food is full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We have sat on the restaurant side a few times but normally sit in a booth on the bar side. There is also a small patio off the bar in good weather. Bartenders are friendly and engaging. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Only reason I knocked it a half star is the service on the bar side can be slow or feel forgotten about sometimes but it just depends on the time of day and if the bartender is having to do double duty or if they have dedicated wait staff in that area.

When we walked in, we had the option of going to the bar area or restaurant. We chose the bar. The place was spacious and had ample seating. We sat down and a gal came to our table to ask for our order. She immediately came off as very standoffish, but, all good, we were there to relax and enjoy. We ordered wings to start off with. Mind you, it was happy hour which she mentioned herself. Cool, thank you. The wings were decent but some were soggy. But it's all good. We then ordered an entree and more wings because we were hungry. Did another dozen wings in the buffalo sauce. Our waitress, Kalidawn, reiterating the wings were 2 orders. Didn't make sense but it did in the end as she was trying to separate the orders as "half orders" to charge more? When in reality, it was the same buffalo flavor for the dozen wings so it wasn't a "half order". Really? You're going to do all of that to get you an extra few dollars? She was already rude, dismissive, and bothered from the beginning. We try to look past these things but she was truly excessive. It's like she wanted to make a statement and hated that we weren't regulars. We ended up getting sick after eating here. The service was beyond disappointing and the food sucked, but we also got sick which was the cherry on the cake. We will never be back and hope others think twice. And to find out, Kalidawn is the manager at the restaurant. So don't even bother trying to complain about her horrible HORRIBLE service and attitude. She runs the place which makes sense as to why I'm sure they're struggling. Do better.

I ordered the $21 meat lovers omelette, and I was honestly surprised by what was served. For that price point, I expected a substantial, well executed dish. Instead, the omelette was relatively small, the sausage and ham inside were cold, and the eggs were cooked to the point that they resembled an overdone scramble more than a folded omelette. At that price, that felt difficult to justify. Additionally, there was no pricing listed on the menu for a side of bacon. Being charged $7 for 4 pieces of thin bacon without any prior indication of cost felt uncomfortable and unexpected. Transparency in pricing matters, especially at those rates. My wife ordered a scramble, and unfortunately, it was presented as an open faced mound of eggs placed on top of meat, cheese, and what were labeled as home fries. The potatoes were deep fried and did not resemble home fries in texture or preparation. Presentation aside, the overall execution did not reflect the quality we anticipated. I say all of this respectfully, but firmly: based on this experience, there is not a realistic possibility that we would return. When a restaurant displays a food rating publicly, customers naturally assume a certain standard. After our breakfast this morning, I can understand how that rating may have been earned. I hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit it's intended. We believe restaurants deserve the opportunity to hear honest experiences directly. Wishing you the best moving forward.

If you have had Spanish Patatas Bravas, then you'll know that dish is primarily potatoes, and that's the experience you would expect. However, this is an American breakfast joint that probably is not trying to make Patatas Bravas. When the food came, it was cold. When my wife confronted the lead waitress about it, she said, "wow, you must be pissed. We've never had a complaint before." To credit the staff, they grudgingly refunded the amount of our meal, and were testy about our complaints. They seemed to not care because they said "if you ever decide to come back again" which shouldn't ever be said to any customer. We make the choice to come, and we felt like the restaurant is trying to cut costs through using cheaper ingredients. In this case, a lot of poorly cooked and soggy potatoes. We were not impressed. Maybe the other items on the menu are much better? Scrambles had their own box on the menu, and seemed to be their signature dishes. A lot less potatoes would be a major improvement. Better yet, hearing feedback from customers and acting on it, even better. Most of the fixes are simple. Adjust the ingredients. Everything needs to be served much hotter! The blueberry muffin arrived barely warmed, too dry and without any butter. I felt the whole dining experience could have been much better.

There's ample parking that's paved or across the street on gravel. The food looked amazing in photos, but I wouldn't say it was as good as it looked or sounded in descriptions. It was generally very tasty, but everything felt like it was missing just one ingredient that would make it better. It could be that I'm just more used to ethnic flavors and these were just not quite hitting the mark. For example the stratciatella was good, but if the whipped ricotta was a little more fluffy and there was some extra black pepper or lemon added it would have been perfect. The pork belly was a little dry and not worth the price for just three pieces. The thick cut truffle fries were very good however. We also tried the bucatini and it was nice but still I wanted a little more kick. It has spice but just needs a little something to punch it up. The steak sandwich two of the three of us sharing a meal loved and I'd say was the best thing we ate. The service staff was kind, considerate and gave us time and made sure our drinks were filled. There are still a lot of dishes I'd like to try and since I loved the area, it would be worth coming back again.

We joined the online waitlist at 1:00 PM on a Sunday. While we were seated fairly quickly, we still had to wait in a long line just to speak with the host to check in. The restaurant was completely packed well past 2:00 PM. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill once we sat down. It took forever just to place our order. Our chowder arrived about 10 minutes later, but it tasted like it came straight out of a can, and the accompanying dinner roll was completely flavorless and factory-made. Since we were hungry, we ate it quickly anyway. It took 45 minutes for our entrees--a Country Fried Steak and a California Benedict--to arrive. By 3:00 PM, we were famished, which made it all the more disappointing to discover our food was cold, soggy, and hard. The cubed fries, scrambled eggs, and English muffin tasted like they had been sitting on a counter for 20 minutes before being brought to our table. For a restaurant advertising a "farm-to-table" concept, the eggs, salad, croutons, and muffin felt entirely mass-produced. The service was equally disappointing; our server never returned to refill our water. While the atmosphere is nice and the space is large enough to fit over 100 people, they seemed severely understaffed. The host stand was backed up, it took too long to order, and the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. For $23 a plate, I expect significantly better quality in both the food and the service.

We were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time, which on Valentine's Day I understand can happen. It's busy. It's high volume. But when you take reservations, there's an expectation that timing is at least somewhat respected. Then we were placed at a table about 18 inches from a side door. I'm not exaggerating when I say if I moved my arm out even slightly, I hit the wall. The table next to us was less than two feet away. On a night that's supposed to feel intimate, it felt cramped and rushed. Not romantic. Not relaxed. Just tight. It honestly felt like too many reservations were accepted for the space available. I get maximizing a holiday, but there has to be a balance. Capping reservations and planning seating a little better would've made a big difference in the overall experience. Again, the food? Strong. The atmosphere that night? Way too packed for comfort. If the seating had matched the quality of the kitchen, it would've been a top-tier Valentine's dinner. I reached out directly to the restaurant and after my email was read numerous times between now and then with no response, I am leaving this review.

Unfortunately, the coconut shrimp was a little too salty for our taste. We let our server know, and she immediately had a fresh order made for us, which we really appreciated. The salmon also wasn't our favorite because the top tasted overcooked or slightly burnt from the seasoning, as shown in the photo. Despite those issues, we chose not to mention the salmon because our server had already gone above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She was genuinely kind, attentive, and checked on us throughout our meal. To top it off, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary birthday dessert, which made the celebration feel even more special. While the food had a few misses, the outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience worthwhile.
