I've been a huge fan of their wine for years, and a frequent guest at their Seattle tasting room, so it was a natural that I'd love a new location to explore. DO NOT join the wine club here. The service is so bad and so difficult to cancel the membership. I have tried multiple times to visit this location and they were closed during hours posted to be open. On Wednesday, February 11, 2026. I finally got in while they were open. The server was extremely rude to me when I was just trying to close my membership and pick up the $400 in wine they had already charged me months ago. He also tried to close me out with two less bottles of wine than my $400 charge covered. I would put negative stars on his service if I could. And I still didn't get my membership cancelled, they will not cancel in person, I have to email the owner. read more

Small tasting room in Tacoma. The decor is amazing and the wine is awesome. The chairs are first class, something you don't see in many tasting rooms were you standing up at the bar most of the time. Brian the wine maker was there serving up the wine. Structure has won many awards and this year's vintage will surely score more. read more

Stopped in here on a whim and was pleasantly impressed! Firstly, the vibe is very cozy and the seating area was comfortable. We decided to do tastings and loved that we could choose our own adventures based on what was being poured that day, allowing us to craft the experience to our taste and try things we may not normally try. I honestly loved every wine I tried and ended up taking a few bottles home. They had a wide selection of varietals and unique blends. While I'm not local to the area, I took a pamphlet to our Washington friends to check out! We were guided by Teri who was amazing, personable, and knowledgeable. Our first visit here on a Valentine's weekend and it did not disappoint! The ambiance is great. I loved the lighting fixtures and the Earth tones of the space. Nathan was very welcoming and knowledgeable; our wine tasting experience felt relaxed and comfortable. Sad that we weren't able to try the charcuterie board (it was in demand that night), but it gives us something to look forward to at our next visit! We quickly became regulars at the Structure tasting room in Tacoma because of the wonderful experience of enjoying wine with adorable dogs. Nathan, the tasting room manager, is very knowledgeable about wine and he makes it approachable to everyone. He provides outstanding service, and he owns two wonderful dogs who were often in the tasting room spreading joy and happiness throughout. Having an upscale wine tasting room in Tacoma with dogs in it is such a unique and delightful concept. Especially to those of us who live in condos and are unable to have dogs of our own. At first there was just one amazing dog there, aptly named Rhone. Then we were all introduced to the cutest and sweetest dog on earth, Pickles. He instantly became part of the family. We became emotionally invested in him while drinking wine and watching him grow into a loving dog. So many people instantly fell in love with him and the joy that he brings to the world. The overall tasting experience created when Pickles is a part of the team is exceptional and special. After a long week, we looked forward to de-stressing while drinking wine and playing with darling Pickles. There were countless times we noticed his adorable face drawing other people inside for tastings as well. He is the best advertisement! To see that Pickles is no longer in the tasting room is heartbreaking! While the wine is wonderful and Nathan is incredible, sweet Rhone and precious Pickles are what kept us coming back for weekly, sometimes biweekly, visits. Without Pickles there, now the overall experience is just not the same. It feels like part of the family is missing and it does not seem fair. I hope the owners know that many people enjoyed his adorable presence and sweet disposition. The happiness and joy that he added to the tasting experience was so greatly appreciated and enjoyed by many. Structure had become a regular spot for me since they opened in Tacoma. Stopped in after being out of town for a few weeks to find things have changed for the worse and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. For context, the wine is "ok" in my opinion, but what kept me coming back were Nathan, Rhone and Pickles - all of whom are no longer there from what I was told. Nathan's knowledge and ability to connect with both novice and experienced wine folks is unparalleled in the local area. I learned so much from our conversations about viticulture, terroir, regions and grape varieties I was unfamiliar with prior. Rhone and Pickles are the BEST dogs, so friendly even "non-dog" people can't help but stop and come in when they saw them - only to be lured in (respectfully) to Nathan's sales style, often leaving as members with a case of wine! Without these three there I'll go to other places with vino that I find more enjoyable. read more

I'll say... Brandee has stuck her foot in her mouth this time! attempting to demean one of the patrons (and a club member) by saying.... "...you've joined the gaggle of brand new Yelp users..." as a way to elevate herself and accuse others of not being significant due to previous inactivity reviewing local businesses. On the contrary, dear Brandee. When people who have had no legitimate reason to stand and be heard suddenly begin rising . .. .. and it's to oppose you, that's a real problem. I'm not sure how long my yelp account has been in place... but if you look into Google reviews for myself and my wife & I's Google combined account (killintheemptynest@gmail.com) you'll find nearly 1 million visits. Does this make me better or more important? Hell No! But that word gets out there. I'm yet to see a review where the dogs (either, or both, or individually) were a negative. Frankly, amatorize $1,000 over Pickle's life span, and he's a helluva good investment. I hope Pickles starts making wine too (to understand this, read Brandee's response to Denice Swanson) ... we'd be happy to move our time and money somewhere less disingenuous I like your wine... but overall, your attitude here trumps the atmosphere your wine room manager has created. This is my favorite winery, I absolutely love this new location along with the Seattle location. I have been a member since the beginning, before they opened their first tasting room. The wine club is unique in that you can pick the wines in your yearly box. The wine is amazing, the small food plates are delicious and the service can't be beat. They have incredible events for their members and guests. It has a cozy feel and I highly recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed. The owners are the nicest people and the manager is very helpful and friendly. Great place for a day with your friends. They are dog friendly, the owners have dogs and absolutely love them. You don't find many places that are open to having dogs and it's refreshing! I've even brought my own dog with me to the winery. read more
