What also drew me in was their candy selection. While it's not a huge section some of the things they have are quite unique. Like a licorice caramel for example. I however ordered a burger & garlic fries. The fries were absent of garlic at all but that wasn't the worst part of them. They were over cooked, had a tough chew and were cold. The burger was thin, had a funky sauce that just had a weird taste. The bacon was tough and bun was overwhelming for the size of the burger. The burger didn't seem to be seasoned but was cooked well. Having been professionally trained by an executive chef, I know how flavors should be paired. This was a miss, in my opinion. I have had better burgers at the Hi Iu for less money. I was told that it was a popular item and perhaps I came on a day where the kitchen was experiencing some challenges . But based upon this meal, I doubt I'll go back.
