Ok so I want to start with the food…read more Burnt ends 5 delish. Perfect balance of meat and fat and perfectly crispy and yummy bbq sauce. $8 Brisket sandwich. 2 this could have been a 5 star had there been bbq sauce on it. It was forgotten. I'd have asked for some but after the food was dropped off no one from the kitchen or bbq place was seen again. $18 Pork ribs. 1 . I had such high hopes for this. In the pics they look so good. But for $26 I expected more than 5 small ribs. The sides. The Mac n cheese was pretty good. I'd give it a solid 3 . The waffle rides were also fresh and crispy with a bit of smoke flavor. 5 Service. Also going with 1 . I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot. But it would have been nice for someone to just be out front to answer questions. Give me some extra sauce etc. I did wait st the podium for about 5 minutes before poking my head into the kitchen so I could place my Order. I didn't want to do the same for sauce. We were there 40 minutes. In that time I saw the guy twice. Taking my order and dropping off my food. I'd go back again before they close. I'd stick with The burnt ends.

Let me tell you about my server, the absolute legend who conquered his two-pack-a-day habit through the revolutionary "Brisket Smoke Immersion Protocol." This hero of modern medicine discovered that 60 minutes of face-time with oak-smoked brisket vapors carries the same satisfaction as 47 cigarettes, but with the added benefit of making your hair smell like victory. "The trick," he'll tell you while delivering a plate of burnt ends, "is to position yourself exactly 7.3 inches from the top rack, where the smoke density hits that sweet spot between 'spiritual awakening' and 'temporary meat blindness.'" He tracked his progress in a leather-bound journal that's now permanently infused with smoky goodness. Day 1 entry: "Visibility limited, meat particles adhering to eyebrows." Day 15: "Have begun to communicate telepathically with the brisket. It speaks of great wisdom." Day 30: "I am become smoke, destroyer of cravings." The restaurant had to install a special timer just for these sessions. They call it the "Meat Meditation Chamber," and there's now a waiting list of people trying to kick various habits through strategic smoke exposure. One guy supposedly gave up energy drinks by huffing pulled pork vapors for three weeks straight. The best part? While sharing his journey to smoke-based enlightenment, he'll serve you the most transcendent BBQ this side of the astral plane. The brisket doesn't just fall apart--it voluntarily deconstructs itself out of respect for your taste buds. The ribs have converted more vegetarians than a bacon-scented hypnosis podcast. Five stars. Would absolutely sit through another 45-minute explanation of how the smoke molecules restructured his DNA while demolishing a plate of burnt ends again. Just don't ask about the time he accidentally fell asleep in there and woke up speaking fluent Memphis-style BBQ. P.S. They're thinking about bottling the smoke as a cologne. There's already a pre-order list.

CHAYEN COFFEE: AN IDENTITY CRISIS IN CAFFEINE FORM…read more Let me start by saying their Vietnamese coffee is an absolute masterpiece - the condensed milk ratio is so perfect it could make a barista weep tears of perfectly filtered water. BUT CAN WE ADDRESS THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM? This is NOT, I repeat, NOT the wild west-themed Wyoming coffee experience my brain desperately wanted it to be. Do you understand my disappointment when I walked in, fully decked out in my authentic 1880s frontier attire, spurs jingling with anticipation, only to discover there wasn't a single piece of barbed wire decor or vintage Wyoming license plate in sight? I had practiced my frontier coffee ordering accent for WEEKS. "One black coffee, pardner" - WASTED. Their egg coffee? Transcendent. The way they blend the egg yolk creates a custard-like texture that's basically heaven in liquid form. BUT WHERE ARE THE HISTORICAL PHOTOS OF CHEYENNE'S FIRST RAILROAD DEPOT? I brought my great-grandfather's Union Pacific timetables for NOTHING. Sure, their premium tea selection would make an emperor bow in respect, but let's talk about what's really important: I came here fully expecting to learn about Wyoming's territorial history while sipping coffee from a tin cup. Instead, I'm drinking from elegant ceramic cups with actual proper temperature control. THE AUDACITY. The staff's expertise in traditional Vietnamese brewing methods is outstanding, absolutely. But you know what they CAN'T tell me? The exact date when Cheyenne's first saloon opened. I had an entire conversation prepared about 19th-century Wyoming coffee consumption patterns. My research about frontier coffee grinding techniques? USELESS. Their cold brew is steeped for exactly 18 hours to achieve optimal flavor complexity. Whatever. I spent 18 hours creating a historically accurate map of 1867 Cheyenne's coffee shops (there were none - it was all saloons) for this visit. Now what am I supposed to do with it? Five stars for their phenomenal coffee program - their traditional Vietnamese brewing techniques are flawless. But MINUS several imaginary stars for not being the niche Wyoming-themed establishment my geographically confused brain invented. I've started a support group for other people who came here expecting to discuss Wyoming territorial governance while drinking coffee. We meet weekly at the library's Wyoming history section, sipping their excellent Vietnamese coffee and coming to terms with our misplaced expectations. P.S. I heard they're adding new seasonal drinks next month. I'm trying really hard not to assume they're named after Wyoming landmarks. (But if they want my list of potential frontier-themed beverage names, I have 47 pages ready to go.) P.P.S. The pastries are amazing too, though distinctly lacking in sourdough biscuits and frontier trail mix. But seriously, their croissants are so good I almost forgot about my planned dissertation on the role of coffee in the Wyoming Stock Growers Association circa 1884. Note: To the staff who patiently explained that "Chayen" is not a misspelling of "Cheyenne" - I apologize for bringing in my detailed presentation about Wyoming state capitol architecture. But I still think your excellent coffee would taste even better served in a tin cup next to a replica stagecoach. Just saying.

Customer service was spot on and very nice. They have a lot of other drinks like coffee, etc. and have other milk substitutes like almond and oat milk. Would order again next time we see them! Not sure when they opened but the 5 star reviews on yelp are justified!! My husband and I were lazy to cook for ourselves and the kids so we decided to give them a try and oh my god I'm so happy we did! The food tastes fresh, delicious and homemade! We couldn't wait and finished quesadillas on the way home. The guacamole and salsa it came with was so delicious and fresh that I even finished that although I usually wouldn't. Nothing was left on the plate at the end :) The owner was there with another person and they were both very kind and thoughtful! You can tell they put their heart and soul into it! So I hope no one ruins it for them (and us) and brings down their spirits because we need this place to continue to be this good

I've been driving past this taco truck for months now waiting for the right time to tray it out…read more Today was that day. I decided on the tacos al pastor and my wife had the deluxe burrito (with chicken). I don't think she finished her first bite before saying it was one of the best burritos she's had. Full of chicken and flavor right up to the end. My tacos were juicy and full of flavor. I'm just now getting started on my al pastor journey (Journey al Pastor?) but if this is a good example, it's going to be a fun adventure. I look forward to coming back and trying some other favorites here. Perhaps a touch pricier than I was expecting, but that's the way of things these days. Easy to spend just as much at a drive through, so at least the food was delightful.
