Grace's Table was a good place. I had the Quiche with fruit. The quiche had chicken apple wood sausage but I didn't get much sausage. It would have been great if it had some spinach in it as well but it was still good. My husband had some kind of "chopped up enchiladas ." I came a few years ago for brunch and remember it being delicious, so came back for lunch this time. The tamale is delicious, I can't recommend it enough! Our ratings are as follows: Soup: I give it a 8.2 it's a good meal for the price and you don't feel guilty after eating it. Girlfriend rates the soup a 7 she wasn't thoroughly impressed but it was "pretty good" Beet Salad: I rate this one a 6, it was pretty bland to my taste not my thing but the girlfriend loved it with a whopping 8/10 "I really liked it" however "it was a little small for the price" Sandwich: I rate the sandwich a 7.4 it's a great portion size, big enough to share and the ingredients feel fresh there's just something missing with it. Can't quite put my finger on it. Girlfriend loved all the pickled sides that came with the sandwich however their "chips" are virtually flavorless. A hidden gem in Napa likely because it's not a large restaurant. What I like about this restaurant is that it brought something different than the typical Italian or French food found in napa. Bread and cheese are a must have in napa so I appreciate the small toasted bread and butter starter. The cornbread came with a lavender hunny spread that was sweet with the perfect floral hint. The empanada was well seasoned with a tasty dough and chimmichurri sauce on the side. The pork belly was a large piece of sweet and slightly smoked goodness that was a great size. Normally restaurants can be stingy on a piece of pork belly. The steak frites were a lovely change up. I really love the saltiness of the fries sprinkled with fresh cheese and the melt in your mouth hanger steak. Typically I don't like hanger steak but this one was cooked perfectly. The restaurant doesn't have a full liquor license so the drink selection was limited to drinks with sabe'. The drinks were decent just not what initially would have liked. read more

This was my first time in Napa and Grace's Table came highly recommended. I wish half stars were possible because I'd probably give them 3.5 stars. The place was busy on Saturday but we arrived at about 11:15 a.m. and got a table for 3 within 20-25 minutes. If you don't want to wait, you can sit at the bar, which was pretty empty when we first got there. The service was fine. We thought the food was pretty good. There were parts of each dish that we really liked but there were also parts that were okay. We ordered chilaquiles, a kobe burger and cornbread (for two) with lavender honey butter. The presentation of all the dishes was great. We really liked the chilaquiles (very flavorful) but the avocado that accompanied it wasn't ripe enough yet. I didn't try my friend's kobe burger (she said it was fine) but I thought the parmesan fries that came with it were fantastic. The cornbread looked so good when it arrived but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. It had a custard-y texture, which I don't mind, but it didn't quite stand out as either savory or sweet. You probably have to really lather on the lavender honey butter, which was interesting (not really my favorite but my friends loved it). As all the other reviews explain, YOU HAVE TO GET THE FISH TACOS. The tacos are so flavorful and the fish is perfectly cooked; it was nice and crunchy while extremely moist and delicate on the inside. We also got the Argentinian Empanada and the Seared Ahi Tuna Nicoise Salad, which were both pretty tasty, however the star of the show was definitely the fish tacos. I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time as the place could get packed! Best fish tacos ever! read more

Came here for breakfast on a Friday at 11 with two friends. We ordered the Kobe hanger steak and eggs and the fish tacos. When my plate of Kobe hanger steak arrived the sliced fruit was swimming in the meat juice from the steak. My entire plate was bleeding and all the food on it was drenched in it. From the pictures on Yelp, I thought I was going to be getting food that would have some thought on presentation but I give that plate an F. The food was good but had gotten cold, no longer hot as I'm sure it sat somewhere and bled out and cooled off. My friend ordered the fish tacos and she reported that they were not good either, the fish was not good. The lattes we ordered were okay, again nothing special at all; no design or anything. The part that gets me to top of the mediocre food was that our waitress messed up our bill. She incorrectly charged us for our meal and had to then rectify it before we could leave. It was kind of a crappy experience to what was supposed to be a special breakfast. I won't be coming back here. read more

Amazing pancakes, fresh over easy eggs with a side of orange juice will start your day off right here! Good seating area inside but it can get crowded later in the morning. The pancakes are a must on this menu, so fluffy and moist. read more

This was the chosen spot for my work's holiday brunch. A few of my co-workers are Napa natives and spoke highly of this place. We were a group of 13 and they were able to accommodate our large party which was great. However, the food fell flat for me. I was disappointed and expecting a whole lot more. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown which made parking a bit difficult. The place is spacious and bright and service was wonderful. On to the food... their breakfast menu was on the smaller side but had the essentials like eggs with bacon/sausage breakfast, bagels, pancakes, and chilaquiles which I heard was one of their best dishes. The table shared their corn bread with lavender honey butter. The consistency of the corn bread was more like a pudding bread, not a fan. The lavender honey butter had an acquired taste. Either you like lavender or you don't, I didn't. The group was split on the corn bread, I was on the meh side of it. For my main dish I went with the chilaquiles. I was torn between that and their standard egg breakfast, which I probably should've went with. The chilaquiles was flavorless and cold when it reached me. I had to add a lot of pepper and hot sauce just to eat it. The plate came with a side of fruit but it was under my chilaquiles, which made it soggy and covered in egg juice. This dish just didn't do it for me. I was only able to eat half of it. Grace's Table didn't live up to its reputation. I really wanted to like this place! But I've had better breakfast elsewhere in Napa. read more

On a recent trip to Napa for our quarterly wine club pickups, my friends and I swung by Grace's Table (making reservations first on Open Table...a must!) for brunch. Definite accommodations were made for the COVID mandates (the visit was in October), and the tables were set far apart, and the floor-to-ceiling window/walls were completely pulled back, so the tables spilled out onto the sidewalk. It was a very welcoming and open layout, with a lot of fresh air movement. We chose a table right by the sidewalk and settled in to enjoy a delicious meal. Again, due to the pandemic, most restaurants are eschewing paper menus and have moved to the virtual ones: you scan a QR code with your phone's camera app, and click on the the popup link that shows up, which takes you to the restaurant's menu. Starting with their skillet cornbread and honey lavender butter, we sipped our coffee, talking over our upcoming day. I looked over the menu, thinking of trying something different for a change, but then stuck to my tried and true favorite, their chilaquiles (no meat), and eggs scrambled. Food and service were perfect as always. It was a Friday, so there weren't as many people as there would be on a weekend, but the place was starting to fill up as we left, and there was a little bit of a wait for some of the larger parties. There are a lot of wonderful restaurants in Napa. I have eaten at many of them. I love food. Delicious, yummy food, and I'm a sucker for an outdoor location. I can not say enough wonderful things about this spot!! This is a lovely open air spot that is unpretentious and relaxing. I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is so welcoming and quaint, the service is wonderful, and the food is outstanding. Today we rolled in to eat, but did not have a reservation. While they didn't have table for 4, we made it work because this is where we wanted to eat!! The food here is an eclectic mix, but I have enjoyed everything I've tried. My favorite, hands done, is the Cassoulet. I mean... it ... is... the bomb. SO good!! I wanted to post photos but by the time I remembered I was already halfway through my food. The beet salad, corn bread, chicken, and gnocchi are also amazing. Our server, Audrey, was so nice and accommodating, I feel like we met a kindred spirit. read more

My wife and I had our first visit to this restaurant yesterday, in celebration of our anniversary and we were not disappointed! The food is top-notch, very fresh, flavorful and easily rival some of the more well-known establishments in the valley, for a bit more of a reasonable price. The place is casual but still classy but the food is definitely the star. The cornbread with lavender butter is heavenly, the Kobe hangar steak is full of flavor, & the chocolate mousse is utterly decadent. Easily, one of the best meals we've ever had in the Valley. The fish tacos were amazing. I liked that the fish is seared and not breaded, so the flavor of the fish is prominent. The salsa is fresh, but not spicy. I would have liked a little more zing. The pan cornbread was mushy. I prefer more substance to a cornbread. The honey lavender butter had a nice, unique flavor. What are these people doing? Damn can they ever cook. I was feeling down and despairing because I was having difficulty walking and couldn't do justice's to Napa as I'd wanted. We stopped by to get some lunch to take back to our hotel balcony. Got the Tuna Niçoise salad with lemon dressing; beef empanada with chimmichurri sauce; cornbread with lavender honey butter. That cornbread made me a convert: dense and full of corn, almost like a cake and with that unbelievable lavender scented butter, sweet and also with a dense texture. The empanada were good, though I gave most of mine to my husband because after I had one fork of the nicoise, it was over for me. That salad should win awards. I would drive all the way here to Napa just for that Nicoise. A revelation: a beautiful fresh bursting with flavor mix of seared tuna, crunchy green beans, frisée, greens, spinach, white fingerling potatoes and purple, baby toy box tomato, sliver of pickled red onion and a breaded egg, dinner perfectly to retain it half run inside, so that upon impact of my fork, it oozes out on the salad. The lemon vinegar dressing right it home. Epic. A marvel. I was in a zone eating that and had such a sensory sublime experience, the distress I was feeling at not being able to walk ... that salad ... I was happy, not a care in the world. We wandered around downtown unsure of where we'd eat and since we hadn't made a reservation but wanted to sit outside we knew our options were limited. We saw Grace's Table outdoor seating down a side road and decided to check it out. There was plenty on the menu that looked good, so we decided to give it a try. It was amazing! What a great, random find. I had the cassoulet and my husband had the tamale and I'm determined to learn how to make both when we return home because they were that delicious. The cassoulet has five different meats though I'd have been plenty full and plenty happy with just the duck and the garlic chicken sausage (it was soft as a cloud and flavored so subtly well). The tamale has citrus undertones which gave it a unique flavor profile compared to the tamales we've tried back home. We did not have room for dessert but were so glad we found this restaurant. read more

And I know i'm next since my name is next on the iPad and people who came after me got seated before us. And the guy in front of me got seated as well and we have the same party size. My girlfriend had a latte that has a sugar wrapping paper in it. And they just took the latte without apologizing. No one came to ask how our food was or do we need anything while we are dining. We were looking for a restaurant that had fairly kid-friendly food. We don't have kids - I was just being picky and wanted something simple. I called Grace's table for a reservation and they greeted and responded with kindness. When we arrived, we realized we probably didn't need a reservation. It was Saturday night at 7:30 PM in downtown Napa and the place was far from the busy dinner rush that I expected. We were seated right away and we were seated outside happily per request. The chairs were cozy, which is unlike many outdoor seating. Their doors open up so that you can sit outside, while still feeling like you're inside the restaurant - my favorite thing about Grace's Table! Our server was very confident in the restaurant. When asking for recommendations she practically listed off the entire menu, which is in return not always super helpful. Our server had mentioned that the restaurant was where the locals go and that labor day weekend is always fun when she gets to meet vacationers. They do not have sparkling water on tap, they have San Pellegrino to purchase. They also do not have a liquor license so they only have beer and wine available. They do have Sake infused cocktails, but those are not the same as spirits. We ended up not getting anything that she suggested and stuck with the gnocchi and hamburger. The gnocchi was fine, but almost a little too soft. The pesto had great flavor but it still needed something more. There was no zing and it just tasted like pesto and gnocchi. I would not recommend the dish. The burger was good, but not great. I wouldn't get it again and I would not recommend it. The fries however, were incredible. The restaurant was clean, fast and kind. However, the food and beverages were lacking. I would look elsewhere to dine, especially when every restaurant in town seems to have similar prices. read more

The crust of the quiche was black! The carrot soup was delicious. My friend ordered the quiche and carrot soup as well. She enjoyed her quiche--the crust was NOT burned. Great little brunch spot if you are in town for wine country. I am so inspired to become a waitress after coming here. Kelsey can sell you anything on the menu and make you feel like you wanted it to begin with. We initially weren't too hungry but we basically ordered the entire menu and everything was good (sorry if that's not helpful, but I really enjoyed everything that we ordered). I just love this place. It's so fun to go there. I finally purchased the house about four months ago here in Napa. So I'm going out quite often to all these great restaurants now. The people and Napa are so beautiful the ones that understand English anyway. It's served with a substantial side salad. --Mains: Grilled chicken sandwich-- this sammie is served on focaccia bread with grilled onion, provolone, butter lettuce, and garden pickles. Full disclosure, I got this sans-cheese, and + a fried egg. If you like a fried egg on food, do it. It's served with root vegetable chips. Drinks: 4 stars We probably should have passed on drinks, since we were en-route to a day of wineries, but when on vacation, you splurge. My friend got a bloody Mary, and didn't realize that Grace's doesn't have hard alcohol. So, it was soju in place of vodka, so just know that before ordering. It tastes different. They do have a variety of beers on draft (about 6 at a time) and about 5 of each type of wine (reds, whites, roses) by the glass. The beer orderers in the group were pleased. Atmosphere: 5 stars Adorable! It has a cozy, rustic feel. When it's nice out, they can open the big windows so that it's open-air. Service: 4 stars Our server was lovely. So I think my expectations may have been too high. I thought this was going to be, hands down, the cutest, most delicious brunch spot. While it was fabulous, it was not THAT fabulous. The line on Saturday was nonexistent, and our party of 4 was seated immediately. Definitely order the cornbread and the quiche. The cornbread is outstanding, and pairs well with their mimosas ;) Eggs benedict and chilaquiles were both very standard and good.
