Grace's table is ok but not exceptional. I've been twice and ordered two items. Their outdoor seating on the sidewalk is a plus and I wish more places did this. The bathrooms were clean and service was prompt. The ambiance is also just fine too. The problem is the food is just ok. I ordered a burger that was over-cooked and another time a sandwich and had had too much cheese. The presentation on their salads is tasteful. It's just that the food really is not. I'm sure it's hard to find good cooks these days. But if you want a great brunch, keep moving. There are better options. read more

This place most definitely deserves better ratings! We were a group of 5 for a Birthday/Bridesmaids party. All the staff were super friendly, explained items and ingredients perfectly and were kindly accommodating to all our wine buzzed requests. Super cute place with fantastic food, service and ambiance. My husband and I dined here for brunch, which was available on a weekday since we were there for the holiday weekend. The restaurant is cute and has an open concept with some seating outside but plentiful seating inside. The menu itself is a tad higher than most brunch/breakfast places but I'm also the type that prefers quality over quantity. We started off with the iron skillet cornbread with lavender butter and it was HEAVENLY (and my most favorite part of the meal). You can also choose from 2, 4 or 6 pieces. I had the chilaquiles and the ingredients were fresh and it was crunchy, not soggy as I've experienced with chilaquiles at other restaurants. The cornbread is the best dish. If I could, I would just eat this as a meal the lavender honey they give to you is like no other. If there is one thing you should get from here, it's this! I also got the chilaquiles which was pretty good. It was a little heavy in the cheese, but not really much of an issue. The salsa that comes with it adds a freshening taste to the whole dish. The only thing I would say is that there is a little more meat (I think ham?) than I would have liked. Some of the chips were still crisp, so it was definitely a plus for my crunch-loving self! The service was great and didn't have any issues. We came here on a late Sunday afternoon, so that may have been better in terms of the place not being too crowded. The service here is incredible! We visited this restaurant for brunch before heading into Napa Valley for some wine tasting. It's conveniently located on the corner and there is street parking as well as public parking lots close by. They get busy real quick and also have bar seating and outside seating. I ordered the eggs Benedict and loved it. The English muffin was so soft and the potato cake was delicious. The rest of my family has the Southwestern Tamale, smoked salmon, Argentinian empanda, steak and eggs & the quiche that was a special today. This place was very good. The service was great. All staff very attentive and helpful with the menu. This was my first time here and was delighted. I started off with a prosciutto and melon salad. The salad also contained parmigiano reggiono, balsamic vinaigrette and arugula salad. The flavors of salty from the prosciutto and sweet from melon complimented eachother really well. I also had their iron skillet cornbread which was not great but not bad. It just wasn't my favorite. It came with lavender butter which added a good flavor but the cornbread itself did not really taste like cornbread to me. Finally for my main course I got the roasted heirloom chicken. It was delicious. The chicken was well season. The skin on the chicken was extra crispy. You could hear the crunch when cutting into it. It was a on a bed of vegetables which constisted of purple potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, spinach and peas in a pod(super crunchy). The wait was a little long but we did not mind. The hostess was incredibly attentive. I had read such wonderful things about this place and I was excited to brunch here with my husband. It was our first trip to Napa and we were celebrating our anniversary. As an avid shrimp and grits connoisseur, this was the dish I was here for. Because of my strict dietary restriction, I asked the server if the dish contained or was contaminated by the protein I was avoiding. She wisely said she'd ask the chef. He came to our table and to my surprise asked me if I "knew" about my illness. I was taken back and fought the urge to be offended for being questioned about my autoimmune disease. A friend highly recommended Grace's Table. I made reservations for the following weekend. We got there early and were seated right away. Audrey was our server and we loved the attention she gave us. We chatted with her about the food and tried to identify the flavors in everything. It was really special to be able to talk to Audrey. She made some fantastic recommendations. To start off with, we had the Argentinian Empanada. We ate it so fast, no photos exist! My husband had the Kobe burger and added bacon and an egg to it. He ranks it as one of the best burgers he's ever had. He loved the sauce and pretty much loved everything about it. I had the Black Cod, as it was recommended by Audrey. It was very good. There were many flavors I tried to identify. I loved it. My mom had the braised short rib. Everything was outstanding. We didn't have room for dessert, but ordered it anyways. The old fashioned devil's food cake was so rich. I loved it and had some leftover to enjoy the next day. My mom had the cheesecake. It was a really wonderful dining experience. I love how they have ample outdoor seating and their windows open up from floor to ceiling so it feels like you are outdoors even when sitting inside. Service was ok and we went with our server's recommendations. We started off with the truffle prosciutto bruschetta $15. This was the star of the show, it was good. It was slightly salty, but we all really enjoyed it. I got shrimp and grits $23 for myself, the husband got steak frites $31, and we got 1 pancake $4 for the boys to share. Shrimp and grits is one of my favorite dishes, but this was the worst version I've ever tried. The grits were really grainy and the shrimp was really seafoody tasty as if they used frozen shrimp which is so weird because it also tasted sandy so I don't know if it was fresh and they didn't wash the sandy ocean off or if it was frozen and it rolled around in sand. Either way, it was not good. The steak was unremarkable, but the fries were well seasoned and crisp. It wasn't $31 worth, for $31 I could have bought steaks to grill back at our resort. My husband and I agreed, the best entree was the boy's pancake. Hands down the best pancake we have had. It was so fluffy and airy and the flavors were on point. The strawberries were sweet, but not too sweet. I hate wasting food, so I made everyone clean their plate, but it did not mean that we enjoyed our meals. I've been dying to try Grace's Table because the menu looks so good. I happened to wander there today after my pedicure nearby. I was sat outside, and after inquiring of the days quiche and soup, my waitress never came back. After about 20 minutes I had to call the hostess station from my phone..and eventuality a different gentleman waiter came and asked for my drink order..which by that point I didn't have time for, so I just ordered the Seared Ahi Salad. The salad came out quickly and was delicious. However, after I was finished for a while, I waited and waited AGAIN for my dirty plate to be taken away and the bill brought. I'm sad that the service was so poor because the food really good. **in response to the managers comment... We were immediately seated, yet they seemed understaffed because our server was handling too many tables. Our server was friendly and offered menu suggestions. We found the meal portions disproportionally served, i.e., the duck and tamale could serve multiple people, yet the halibut (extremely dry) could serve one. The pork in the tamale lacked flavor, even with extra sauce. Perhaps other people have had a better experience, however, we will never return or recommend this restaurant. read more

Looking for the ultimate brunch place in Napa? Grace's table is just that! It is a small little restaurant with both outdoor and indoor sitting. Though busy they do not make you wait long and the service is great. Everyone is so friendly and kind. The waitress both times was informative and helpful. Always greeting customers with a smile. The food is even better. I would recommend the corn bread which does contain cheese, but is to die for. The two or four size is enough for two to four people. Anything on the menu is guaranteed to be good. They have a vast menu which will meet anyones needs. The location is perfect to walk to our park on the street or in the parking garage next door. The homemade muffin was nice and soft, and the eggs and Hollandaise were perfect. The potato cake on the side was disappointing -- limp and very little flavor. My friends really enjoyed the quiche, bacon and eggs, and shrimp and grits. We shared the heirloom tomato salad to start, which was excellent. We got there at 11 and they were already sold out of their cinnamon rolls; not sure if that says more about how popular they are or poor planning. I think we sat at the uneven outdoor table someone had complained about. It is now nicely propped up with wood. The hostess double checked it before we sat down.
