Came on a Friday afternoon to get some work done and escape the heat from my house. Loved the lively atmosphere. Lots of natural light, a fun photobooth, displays of small business products (keychains, cups, and even thrift clothes), and an abundance of seating. It's truly a workspace haven. Free wifi and lots of sockets to charge your laptop. As far as drinks and food. DON'T do what I did: - If you're excited to try the delicious looking breakfast sandwiches and burritos, DON'T arrive after 2pm. They stop serving food at this time. - Want to try the Tiramisu Latte? DON'T try to be healthy like me and sub almond milk instead of their oat milk soaked in lady fingers. Your drink will taste watery. Definitely will come back so I can get the full experience. Regardless, still a 5/5 for the awesome workspace and cold brew.

Nice place to chill, study, and enjoy a good burrito. The matcha flavor isn't super intense and there are many different sweeteners/syrups to choose from for extra flavor. The strawberry matchas strawberry foam tastes exactly like the pink Nesquik and I love it! The hot food is really amazing. Please get a breakfast burrito! They are hot, fresh, comforting, & have big pieces of potato inside! Service was great and everyone is very chill. The ambiance is nice with lots of natural sunlight coming through. Overall, 10/10 will be grabbing burritos again!

I walked in and this place is huge for a coffee shop. It was poppin on an afternoon. Very clean. Good atmosphere. Friendly and timely staff. Got my drink out quick for how busy it was. I got a straight black cold brew. It was okay. It was 7.12 for a 16 ounce. Only thing I dont like is there was a dog in there. Places that serve food shouldnt let dogs in. Outside is fine.

Great spot with food, coffee, and lots of seating inside/outside. Most of the time when coming to coffee shops you have to worry about seating especially when you plan to work there but there was plenty. I got: Breakfast burrito with bacon (4/5): good flavor, bacon was crispy, chipotle aioli was tasty and nicely spicy, but potatoes were too big imo. Satisfying and a big burrito for sure. Iced americano with honey (5/5): smooth coffee, good ratio of honey Will be back to try the other stuff!

Good Time is just as the name, a "good time"! It's great a spot to hang with friends, get some work done, read a book, crafting. The large spacious room with variety of seating which lends to varying size parties. There's lots of outlets under tables to for your charging needs. Despite the long lines, the staff has a solid system with buzzing devices to move swiftly through the line. If you are in a time crunch, order ahead online. It could take 20 minutes for your food. Usually I like to walk around the eclectic antique store across the street until the buzzer goes off. My staple favorites are their breakfast burrito and pastries. This time I tried the crispy potatoes tacos. The crema topping hits the spot. One thing I enjoy about the burritos is the texture of the potatoes. It's nice to have the crunch potato instead of other burritos that have mushy potatoes.

Came here for the breakfast burrito and they did not let down. Was totally worth coming to this location despite parking being a nightmare . Coffee was great too. Love the space too, good vibes.

LOTS OF SPACE Simply put, this place has a big interior and many tables for patrons. But it doesn't mean it's going to be easy to find a seat, or parking. But if you do manage, it has really good Potatoe tacos, breakfast sandwiches, and great baristas to prepare matcha/ coffee. And it's quick.

Wow this place really impressed me. Their drinks were amazing but the food was a whole other story. I think they had the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. It tasted so good I couldn't get enough. I got a Tiramisu Latte which was also delicious. I liked their Photo Booth and when we came, they were having a little market outside. Cute place!

Lining up to order can take a good 15-20 minutes during peak hours. First I tried their rose chai, lightly spiced and full of flavor. The second time here I ordered the matcha latte and a ham & cheese croissant. The matcha tasted milky and subtle, while the croissant was okay with cream cheese used. I've heard good things about their breakfast burritos. Their service is overall pretty efficient as the folks behind the counter are in full view hustling making and heating orders. Mahjong has been popping up in many locations across SoCal, and it just so happens to be here at this Long Beach café. The events are being held here Sunday mornings about once a month. As usual, TAs are on hand to teach beginners, while more seasoned players are left on their own. This coincides with their Sunday morning jazz played inside the building as well as local artisans selling their crafts outside.

Awesome spot for WiFi and great coffee.... Had to kill some time in Long Beach while my dog got groomed, so I yelped coffee shop options with WiFi and landed here. Shop is spacious and super cute, while not being too loud to get work done. Barista was super welcoming, and I ordered the seasonal tiramisu latte. Espresso quality is great, latte itself wasn't too sweet, so overall a great experience and will be back the next time my pup has to get groomed and need a place to work.

There's only one word to describe this coffee shop - WhatAVibe! Came here on early on a Saturday morning for a car meet and tell me why the most memorable thing from the event was the bacon breakfast burrito? You do have to wait maybe 5-10 minutes as it's made to order. The piping hot fresh home potatoes with the melted cheese, paired with their sauce- it's incredible and it's addicting. The tiramisu latte was pretty good! A little sweet for my taste but a nice sweet treat nonetheless. The yuzu earl grey matcha bevvy was a little too sour for my liking but my girlfriend really enjoyed it. I really liked how the store was set up as well, all the music and decorations pair nicely and made me want to buy all their products lol. They have cool sweaters, tote bags, socks, even frisbees, whatever your heart desires, Good Time delivers.

Ordered: Small Iced Latte (~$6) with Lavender ($1) Aya's take: Coffee & plants? It's bound to be a Good Time (pun intended)! We arrived around 10:30am on a Sunday morning and to no one's surprise lol, they were busy. Upon entering, I noticed the bright space, the nice decor, and the beautiful plants. I got a Small Iced Latte with Lavender which was truly expertly made. It was silky smooth, the lavender was actually palpable in every sip, and I got the caffeine boost I was looking for. The breakfast burrito looked delicious and you can see them in the back freshly making each order. I would definitely try it next time I'm back in town. Love this spot!

This place it great! Drinks, food, ambiance, location and awesome business name will all bring me back. Fantastic service and drinks cone out quickly, with food at a reasonable speed considering there always seems to be a lot of orders in the queue. Visit #1 was memorable. Latte and breakfast burrito, but added extra egg which is highly recommended. Visit #2 I went with Matcha latte and burrito, but forgot to add extra egg and although flavorful, it was mostly potatoes. I enjoy the vibe here. Walk up to order, lots of tables inside but unfortunately they are all full with people working. Guess ya gotta get there early. There are a handful+ of tables outside that often get groups gathering and hanging out. Super chill place with quality food and service. They also have a points system which I missed signing up for my first time. Can't beat a good freebie from time to time. Parking is limited to street/neighborhood as far as I can tell. Luckily I've found a space rather quickly each time.

Do they have decaf coffee or espresso options?

We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! During our visit, we wanted to try everything on the menu. The presentation was very nice, the food and the cocktails was delicious, the portions were just right and the prices were reasonable. Booking a reservation was super easy. I reserved a patio table for 6 guests at 6:30pm on a Friday night in the middle of summer! I was easily able to modify it and received text verification of my reservation. I didn't pay a dime to use the online booking system. The ambiance was very nice, semi private and the weather was perfect However, the best part of our evening was our server, Isabella. But I'll be answer this place is really interesting with so many vintage pictures and paintings and photos on the wall that you hardly see the wall at all. It feels very British. There's a really pretty bar with colored backlighting, and a nice patio for outdoor seating. There was a band playing, and wow! They were really good! All of their covers were on point! The kind of fell flat on the food for me tonight. I did not taste the burger that my husband ordered so I can't speak for that. But I did try the Ordinarie Fries, which the menu said were covered in beef gravy, green chili cheese sauce, and cheese. It sounded really delicious and interesting so we ordered that as an appetizer. It was quite a let down. It wasn't really smothered, so you pretty much didn't have any toppings on the fries below. The beef gravy was good, but I didn't ever get a taste of green chili and that bummed me out. I would not order these again. I ordered the wedge salad and add it on salmon. The wedge salad was pretty basic. There was very little bacon on it and way too much blue cheese. In fact, I ended up leaving a huge amount of blue cheese on my plate. The salmon was quite small and super salty. Overall I was not happy at all with the food here, although I will say I've had good food here before. Also, my husband and son thought their food was pretty good. I would come back, but order something different. And absolutely come back for their pop-ups which are amazing!

The menu has a ton of really detailed options, each drink with its own depth. The menu changes seasonally but what doesn't change is the smoked old fashioned - a must-order. They smoke your drink in a glass container using applewood chips; it's quite a show and it also does make the drink much more enjoyable. Ask the bartender and they can also help guide you to a drink - I've done it a couple of times and always pleasantly surprised. Next up, the food! The hummus was very flavorful and paired with an amazing fluffy pita bread. The truffle fries were solid but the plate was HUGE, definitely needs a friend to share. The Nashville wings are the star of the show. I cannot stress this enough, this is worth a DRIVE for. The seasoning really does remind you of Howlin' Rays (the highest compliment) and the chicken is extremely crispy yet insanely juicy. The pickles and ranch that it comes with pairs so well. Do note that they are tossing it in pork fat, which enhances the depth but also makes it a little greasy at the end. I also wished they'd warn you this and offer to order it without it; especially for those who don't eat pork or for those trying to cut some calories. There's a happy hour menu too!!! So you can get drinks and food even cheaper. I cannot stop thinking about this place. It's such a sleeper. Head to Midnight Oil after a visit to continue your night.

Booth the food and drinks were nice. This visit, we stopped by in the afternoon just as happy hour was starting. There was a good amount of people already inside which could be that in between lunch rush and beginning of happy hour. Getting a table was a cinch as we were seating right away on the patio. It is pet friendly which is also nice. Layout of the restaurant is, majority of the seating is outdoor which is covered. There's the dining area inside the restaurant which is pretty small, another patio to the side of that as well as the private room to the side for more of an intimate experience. Mainly the front patio and bar area tends to be the busiest. Staff were all amazing and friendly which is a major plus. Nobody wants to come an establishment where service is snooty and rude. Everyone was a major doll and the sweetest. Our waiter, I didn't get his name was the sweetest. As it was HH, they only had that menu available. Limited but still decent for what was offered. A good selection in cocktails items and for the price, they were great. As for food, same with limited items but pricing was great. They're known for the Mac and cheese with hot Cheetos as pretty much loads of the tables had ordered it. We've had it prior but this time opted out on it. Started off with one of their sangria which comes either red or white and an old fashioned. Both on the HH menu and very reasonable for 7.00 a pop. Cant beat that. Sangria was quite refreshing with the fruit slices while the old fashioned, it was strong. Actually worth it for 7.00. Food, a mixture of things to share. An order of their fries with parsley and rosemary with an aioli sauce for dipping, 8.00. The braised cheddar brat with house mustard, caramelized onions, Calabrian chili with basil and shallot for 11.00. Quite tasty and flavorful with all the topping and served in a nice roll. The chicken sandwich which was quite big. Fried chicken with cheddar and American cheese, chef sauce, pickles on a benne seed bun for 11.00. And lastly the attic cheeseburger with new school American cheese, pickles, grilled onion aioli, caramelized onions on a benne seed bun cooked medium for 12.00. It was tasty but between that and the chicken sandwich, chicken takes the leads. Pricewise for the sandwiches was great. Everything is à la carte on the menu. They do have other main dishes but we just stuck to the sandwiches. Also a second round of drinks was had. The mango margaritas and the classic. Both tasty and for 7.00 a pop, can't beat that. The whole experience was great. Service was excellent and all the staff were amazing. Patio seating is great as it's perfect for people watching and enjoying the outdoor. Until next time.

Quinoa is great, but doesn't work for everyone. Even just one or two added entree salads would make it much more enticing to return, especially for mixed gender groups. Ideally, the chef could rotate this salad through new concepts seasonally. No need for new menus, just do a specials card. If that's not possible, then one or two permanent salad items to cater to the health foodies would be AMAZING. The main issue is that the Nick's menu lacks innovation, which makes it hard to bring business partners or friends there on repeat visits. I wouldn't be so bothered except that the last time I went to Nick's I added chicken to a salad and they gave me a very poorly prepared piece of low quality chicken with three mouthfuls of bone and gristle. I can accept a stagnant menu if it is always prepared excellently, but I can't accept an inconsistent preparation and stagnant menu. Thank you to everyone at Nick's. Appreciate you all a lot.
