My brother in law suggested this place for breakfast. I'm hardly in this area so really excited to go to a brunch place. We were a party of 4. The place is not big and was pretty busy. We had to wait about 15 mins. Aside from the inside, there is also patio seating. We ordered the energy bowl, steel cut oats, fruit cup, two egg breakfast with chicken links and a side of hash brown and Mexican protein. All four of us enjoyed and were satisfied with our orders. Our food came out in a timely manner. Wish there was one of these in my area. The staff are quick on their feet and definitely know how to handle their customers/ crowd. History

Established in 1979.

Good Stuff Restaurants's history began with Cris Bennett, who worked as a busboy and had big dreams. In 1979, Cris' dreams became real. He and his father started the first Good Stuff restaurant: a little burger place in West L.A. It was a hit, everybody loved to eat at Good Stuff. Soon he expanded to Hermosa Beach, making his second success. Time passed, and the cities of Redondo Beach, El Segundo, and Palos Verdes were all given a Good Stuff establishment. While each of the Good Stuff locations are different, they have the same core values of great service, tasty food, and healthy options. Our theme is consistent: we offer Good Stuff. Cris Bennett pursued his passion for hospitality at the University of Denver, earning a business degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Driven by his childhood dream of owning a restaurant, he turned that vision into reality—now proudly operating four thriving locations. For over 45 years, Cris has built Good Stuff Restaurants into a South Bay institution, known for delicious food, warm hospitality, and a commitment to health-conscious dining. Small Backstory: Last Friday I lost my job of almost 25 years in public education due to a complicated work accident (my back was broken & I now have screws in my spine) and I planned to whine to my best friends into a cocktail or two, and get out plenty of Kim Kardashian ugly-cry faces until it would be time to go home. Enter ALVARO! This kind man had the nerve to be polite to us! The nerve! LOL. He greeted us with a warm smile while my cold heart was practically making it snow. He explained all portions of the breathtaking menu when I had planed to eat my sadness. He even had the GALL to say if we wanted something not on the menu that he would see what he could do to make it happen! Here I was, ready to drink Unicorn Tears, and he was cheering me up! WHAT THE??! LOL The three is us started with the MEZZE PLATE. And OH LORD! I think we ate the print off of the plates while trying to get to the last crumb. We polished off a whole extra serving of cucumber slices in the process, by the way, and I'm not embarrassed to say that. The Turkish honey-sweetened labne was such a party in our mouths! Bless be to Alvaro, he stopped by our table several times to apologize about the noise and flashing lights and explained the fire department was working on it. I explained that the Hood Cricket sound didn't bother us and we were happy to wait out the alarm. So not only did Alvaro provide us with excellent service, an outstanding meal, and generous smiles, but he also made sure that we felt SEEN. And THAT is what made the whole evening worth it. No sadness or cringey tears about a lost job were needed. It ends up all we needed was a server named Alvaro at Saint & Second to make my spirits feel high again. Pricing is a bit high but was totally worth it! Patrons were dressed business casual. Sound level, not counting the hood cricket, was mid and conversation was easy to have. Several televisions were playing different stations but no captions were provided. There is handicap parking available in the parking garage located just outside the front door of the establishment and no stairs or elevators are needed to enter. There are several entrances/exits to the available outdoor seating area and outdoor heaters are available. Glances around showed me that every patron I saw was tucking into their plates with smiles and were enjoying themselves. I have already made plans to return to S&S in another two weeks because it was indeed THAT GOOD! And for those fine diners that are wondering, "But what is a Hood Cricket?" An HC is a chirping fire-alarm that some of us are able to tune out with ease. You're welcome!

The Meatballs were tender, rich and saucy. These starters were a great way to kick off our meal here. For our mains, we got their Paccheri Lisci and Tonnarelli. The Paccheri Lisci had a bit of a spicy kick to it. It has spicy pork sausage sugo, fennel, sage and pecorino. It was meaty and flavorful. The Tonnarelli or Cacio e Pepe contrasted nicely with the Paccheri Lisci. This pasta dish was simple, sharp and peppery. This was more bold versus saucy. Last but not least we had some cookies for dessert. I loved the fresh baked snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies. It was a sweet and perfect ending to the meal here. Overall, I really enjoyed dining at Jame Enoteca. I am now looking forward to trying out their sister restaurant Jame Taqueria down the street.

The roasted cauliflower was hands down the best part of the meal. It was seasoned so well and honestly addictive. I could not get enough of it. The chicken pot pie came out piping hot and was really good, super comforting and flavorful. My only small wish is that it had pastry on the bottom too, since it would have soaked up all the juices. The burger was fine but nothing special. I think it could have used some lettuce and tomato to help tie everything together. The onion rings were solid. Service was good and it was not too crowded for lunch, which made it a relaxed and enjoyable place to sit and eat.
