Service was fast and efficient. Everyone inside was so nice and kind. The biscuit and gravy was DELICIOUS (coming from a B&G snob!) and the dash of hot honey just sent it over the edge! The inside was very clean. I'd come back in a heartbeat

I stopped here for breakfast just after 7am and the place was mostly empty after just opening so I had the place to my self but people started to trickle in. The place is in a strip mall next to the pick n save with plenty of parking. The place is very nicely done with a nice bar, cozy arm chair sitting area, nice tables and booths and a coffee bean roaster right on the floor. The menu has a nice assortment of breakfast items and drinks so I started with a Bloody Mary which was garnished with a pickle, to olives and a half beef stick and it was very average. I ordered the two eggs with meat, potatoes and sourdough toast. My meat option was the in house smoked ham with house potatoes as my potato choice, I don't know if it's really in house smoked because you don't see that anywhere. My plate looked good but this is another place that only gives one one slice of toast which I think is dumb because breakfast has traditionally been a two slice of toast meal and I like to make toast sandwiches so only one toast sandwich today. The house potatoes were baby reds with Parmesan cheese and they were terrible because they were undercooked and still hard, fail. The sunny side up eggs were perfect. The sourdough toast was average and not the good bakery kind. The in house smoked ham was very thin but it was fork tender and good. Overall it's a nice place for breakfast and my breakfast was ok but nothing spectacular with friendly staff.

We took our grandma here for lunch to catch up. I immediately loved the interior design and the comfy chairs to relax in while waiting for a table. I ordered a Bloody Mary, my partner got a cup of the Honduras blend, and grandma got a water. I find it very odd that they don't show the drink prices. This seems a bit sketchy and dishonest to your customers. Having to ask the price of each drink is annoying. For food, I ordered the salmon frittata, partner got the meat lovers hash, and grandma for the elegant chicken salad sandwich with a GF bun. We requested that the sweet potato fries for grandma not have salt, and appreciate the kitchen taking care of us. The salmon frittata was a bit odd. I expected everything to be IN the frittata, but it reality, it was just an egg with everything piled on top. Grandma's chicken sandwich was very difficult to eat, piled so high that you couldn't open your mouth wide enough, and smooshing it down would cause everything to fall out the sides. We loved our server, Alliyah. She was kind, professional, and on top of things. We appreciated her patience with all of our questions and special requests. Overall, it's a cute place with a cool vibe. A bit hit and miss with the food, but nothing to cause us not to come back.

Food was excellent. Hash browns were heavenly. Ham tasted like it was cooked on maple wood. They roast their own coffee beans and coffee is very good. To look at the face of the restaurant you'd never know that it is a full-menu, cook-to-order restaurant. The restaurant is modern, clean and offers booths, tables and seating at the bar. The bathrooms are clean with stocked amenities and in good working order. Wait staff is friendly. I will be back.

I don't get this place. Looks great from the outside and the interior was nice, but check out their outside sign. Looks left over from years ago. My potatoes were un-edible, cold and horrible tasting. Tasted left over from days ago. Needless to say I didn't eat them. They got the BLT wrong and I had to get up to find the sever to have it redone, she dropped off the plate then disappeared as a sat there. I got terrible, hard, cold, chewy bacon on that BLT. What the heck! My partners hash browns were good. Pancakes just okay, and luke warm coffee. I don't get it, the coffee was luke warm. Maybe because it was after the breakfast rush but come on... make a fresh pot. Funny asking for a warm up and it didn't... warm anything up. I rarely get up for service, but after sitting for a long time, I had to get up again to find the server so I could pay the check and get the heck out of there. After dropping off the check she disappeared again. I found her with a clutch of other servers talking about "things". Will not be going back. I don't understand the good reviews, maybe a bad day? I don't get it.

Loved it. Interesting menu, lovely decor and clean. The beignets were amazing, as was the dipping sauce. Tasted like a coffee cream. This place reminded me a bit of Blue's Egg. Will definitely be back.

Came here after I couldn't get into Blue Eggs on a Sunday morning after running a half marathon. The service was great and I loved their pancakes. Highly recommend.

A little place worth finding in Pewaukee. First time diners, we tried a bit of many dishes, and…read morecan absolutely say this is traditional German food. The owner, Mat is doing his Oma and mom (Bo) proud, and I bet this place is especially in the summer when the food is not the same old options up and down the Pewaukee shoreline. With outdoor service and seating in warmer weather, and now a cute little indoor dining room, I am glad I took the time to stop for dinner. We tried the chicken and pork schnitzel, both bunless; the Curry Wurst; Pretzel bites; Spätzle; Oma's Potato Salad; and Sprecher's Root Beer, of course. However, beer is also on the menu, along with other options. The menu is not huge, but if you like or want to try true German dishes, stop in. The pricing is fair, and the owner is very nice. They use the all-natural Wisconsin Gold Tallow for cooking, and I just learned about it and how it makes dishes so tasty. And it is even great for facials!

We finally get to place our order and while we waited noticed the table behind us getting plate after plate of the wrong food. We order and waited another 15 minutes for drinks. Our food finally starts coming out one dish at a time and it's not even correct. We were waiting for the last dish to arrive and our server took it to the wrong table, collected it from the wrong table and tried serving it to us after it was touched by someone else! So, terrible service. To top it off the food just sucks. Tiny portions that are overpriced. Not authentic German, not even close. The schnitzel were absolutely tiny and paper thin, you could barely even notice it was meat. For $15 you get two puny schnitzels and a tiny bowl of potato salad. During our time there at least 5 tables came in, sat and left not even getting drinks.

I don't review on Yelp much, but made a point to do so for this place. This is the type of place…read morethat every community or neighborhood should have available, but only a very lucky few do. No frills, glitz or pomp, just extremely tasty sub sandwiches. It's virtually impossible to go there a few times without ending up on a first name basis with the owner/operator Mark, or getting pulled into conversation with other customers while ordering and waiting. If you're not going for snooty accoutrements and veneer, but instead for high quality food with a friendly feel, you'll love it, and if you're in it for those other things, you'll have your mind changed real fast. Yum. And to make it easy on people that tend to shy away from not knowing the protocol at a new place: the menu can be found online somewhere on social media I believe, and stays mostly the same, but you need to actually go there to see what it is exactly for that day. Cash only, you walk up and order and wait. Each sub comes with choice of chips or drink, and it's something of the honor system with grabbing your chips/drink and checking out (which will make more sense when you see things for yourself). Don't expect to deal with exact change in coins or anything. Kind of treat it like lemonade stand rules - good people just round up to nice even increments and say thank you.
