    Whole grilled branzino
    Liz B.

An underrated seafood spot in the busy Rodeo 39 food court! The whole grilled branzino was delicious and very affordable compared to branzino dishes at restaurants. The fish was tender on the inside and served with lemon and a side of rice and beans. Since it was the end of the day, they also sold it at a discounted price! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in the food court, and on some days there is live music.

Goldfish is a hidden gem. Their tacos and ceviche are so tasty, not to mention FRESH. The sauces are unique in taste and thickness compared to other seafood establishments. They also offer many kinds of marine animals, such as branzino and sea urchin. The staff is extremely helpful and always brings the order to wherever I am sitting instead of having to pick it up from the front. I have no complaints and will come back just for the fish tacos.

Goldfish Seafood is a new addition to the Rodeo 39 foodhall. As my boyfriend and I were making a lap around to decide what we wanted for lunch, the oysters and uni in their case caught my eye. I knew immediately we would get some items from our meal here. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered a half dozen of Oysters ($18/half dozen) and the Live Urchin ($22). To my surprise they asked which ceviche I wanted with the sea urchin. Wow what a deal! I already thought it was a good deal for the urchin, but I love that there were chips and ceviche included with my order. They have many flavors of ceviche to choose from, but I ended up choosing the bluefin tuna ceviche since I know urchin is complimentary with bluefin. They asked if I was enjoying the food at the food hall or togo. It determines if they serve it in bowls or togo containers. Upon check out, I gave them my number and they said I would receive a text when my order is ready so I was able to wander around Rodeo 39 to put in my order for other places. When I received my order I was so excited. It was many of my favorites all in one place. Definitely more of snacking items, but packed with flavors. For the oysters, they only had Fat Bastards. Thankfully I really like Fat Bastards since they're medium size, sweet and creamy, so it worked out for me. The price point for these oysters are very fair. There is room for improvement on the shucking of the oyster as some of the oyster flesh was not completely removed from the shell. As an oyster lover I feel like that's a waste so I was picking at the shell to get it all out. And the blue fin ceviche served in the urchin shell and topped with urchin was also fun and tasty. Just to level set, I wouldn't say it's the best I've had but it's the BEST VALUE one I've seen in this economy. This was such a great way to kick off my lunch at Rodeo 39. I will definitely come back here they next time I am in the area. Highly recommended to all of my seafood lovers out there!

Love this new addition to the Rodeo Market! As soon as I saw that they have grilled octopus (my fav!) I knew I had to try it. I ordered the pulpo asado and my husband ordered the pescado zarandeado. Both entrees were amazing! The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly charred and the fish was also very tender and tasted so flavorful. I also loved that both came with cilantro rice, beans, and blue corn tortillas. Service was also great! They prepared our food pretty quickly and consistently checked in on us during our meal. I will definitely be back to try the other items on their menu!

Very delicious food with excellent service! My husband and I ordered the three-taco combo to try a variety of tacos. The first round we had the grilled octopus, Baja fish, and Baja shrimp tacos, and every single one was delicious. We loved them so much that we ordered a second round! The second round we tried the scallop, yellowtail, and another Baja fish taco. The scallops were incredibly buttery and flavorful. I thought the yellowtail would end up being my favorite, but it tasted a little too fishy for my personal preference. My favorites were definitely the grilled octopus, Baja fish, and Baja shrimp tacos. We also ordered the chips and guacamole, and everything tasted fresh and was beautifully presented. The food, presentation, and service were all excellent. We'll definitely be back I can't wait to work my way through the rest of the menu!

After eating some Pho - my wife and I decided to take a bit of a stroll in Rodeo 39, and I personally wanted a small niche snack. We found Goldfish, and they serve delicious fresh seafood, and I got 3 prepared oysters for $9. The oysters were huge and tasted fresh, and the lemon cocktail they had for it was delicious as well. Quick service, there's some seating next to their stall, but not too much.

Wow, wow, wow! Tried Goldfish for the first time and it will definitely not be the last. Pleasantly surprised with my kanpachi tostada ($12)- bright, zesty, and a little tang, witg 0 fishy-ness! with extra sauces on the side that are complimentary (the garlic spicy sauce? Wow!) Located inside Rodeo39, this place is a hidden gem and should definitely be recognized. Definitely ordering more next time... The service was a 10/10- the guy was courteous and helpful.

Had their ceviche and tacos Togo and they were okay. Ceviche is under season and the tortillas on the tacos are too thick. A must here that's yummy is their live sea urchin. I got it with the scallop ceviche and it was soooo good. I would come back for the live sea urchins again

Probably the most exciting addition to Rodeo39 to date. I'm always so excited for elevated mexican cuisine and Goldfish absolutely delivered. Your food is served on a beautiful plate and the presentation is very clean and modern. Delicious, melt in your mouth fish and fresh ingredients. The staff is enthusiastic and helpful and the prices are very reasonable. Perfect for when you want an affordable lunch with a little more fanfare at rodeo.

    Ceviche Mixto and Oysters

Wow. It's been quite a while since a meal has made me this happy. My friend and I were surprised to see a seafood restaurant at rodeo with such great prices so we couldn't help ourselves. Let me just say, the ceviche is a 10/10. The first bite I took brought back fond memories of Cancun where I had arguably the best ceviche of my life, and this place honestly compares!! We only ordered the ceviche mixto and the oysters, but both were incredibly fresh and well balanced. The workers were very polite and friendly, and I'm happy to say they were very patient with us while we scanned the menu for a while. I can tell they put a lot of attention to even the smallest details of the restaurant, despite it being a small stall in a food court style plaza. Overall, I hope they continue to do well because I plan to be a regular at this spot!!

I stumbled upon this place on opening day, they just opened and the person working was so nice and friendly at explaining the menu. They offer ceviches, seafood tacos, and entrees. I ordered the whole branzino and a filet, they both come with rice and beans and handmade tortillas. They were cooked beautifully and tasted amazingly. I also ordered a shrimp aguachile that was amazing, but I didn't take a pic since he stated eating it right away. The fried head were so tasty and the aguachile sauce was so yummy. I also ordered 2 ceviches mixtos for lunch the following day, they had fish, shrimp and scallops, they were so good. I'm truly so excited for this restaurant because they offer dishes that other places don't offer in this rodeo plaza The prices are great for the quality of food and there's plenty of seating everywhere with a lively ambiance that this plaza at rodeo 39 offers

    Seared scallop taco.
    Greg S.

Had the Seared scallop taco. Beautiful presentation. Fair price. Scallop was a great texture and very tender. Delicious flavor. Light taco. All the ingredients go well together. I like the use of tomatoes. The sauce in the taco was very flavorful. Salsa given had a great kick. Person brought the food to us at a table we sat nearby. Definitely will come again to try more food.

I've been coming here since it was originally named Alberto's...The outside seating has not changed. It's still the same round table bench with the red umbrella. Service is the same, they're pretty quick at getting your food prepped. Now I said that their carne asada has always been reliable, but my last two times I've ordered a carne asada burrito (sour cream and cheese only) or a CA burrito, IYKYK, their meat has tasted different. It taste like it's some carne asada and then like some other mystery meat, sometimes liver... Either way I stop eating it when I have tasted it being weird. Maybe it's the other meats they serve that get mixed in. I don't dig that. So for that I would rate them down to a 3 star. I'm rating their 3 rolled tacos as 4 stars! It's the best around. It has the crunch and enough meat inside. It's not all tortilla like some places. We always order it with sour cream and cheese only, with carrots on the side. I've tried adeltacos down the street and it doesn't compare. Get it here.

We ordered 2 carne asada fries, and they only gave us 1 (our order was big). Yesterday, May 17,2026, I drove out here again for my brother's birthday request to do takeout for our entire family. Ordered 2 orders of their rolled tacos, finally got home to see that we only received 1 order of the rolled tacos, not 2 (we also ordered more things). Yes, you'd obviously like for everything that you paid for to be handed to you, but a lesson learned to check your bags!!! If something is missing, kindly let them know and receive everything you paid for. Not the end of the world, we love this place as this is one of our childhood comfort foods/go-to places.. we moved away and miss this place all the time, and to make our birthdays feel like home/childhood, we drive out here to show our loved one some extra love with Albertaco's BOMB food, but yeah, it's a bummer when you're missing things that you paid for & is shown on the receipt (will post receipt photo shortly).

They tack on extra charges not listed on the menu. Ordered 3 tacos and paid $19 something (handed him $20 and got some coin change). I didn't want to argue further. I calculated it afterward and this was overpaying by $2 something. The amount is not a big deal, but I don't like being stolen from. So I'm writing this, so that others may avoid the same annoying experience. I was hoping the tacos would be really good and justifies it. But they weren't. The El Jefe one wasn't even as described. He said there would be cheese but there wasn't. The guac tasted old. And the whole plate was incredibly oily. The carnitas ones were less oily but not very flavorful either, and there were chunks of fat. Never again. Also the place was just gross. They used the same ladle for all the sauces, so it was all cross contaminated. The bathroom looked like a mess and had graffiti everywhere too.
