Wow, I am very pleased about this restaurant. I have ignored it for 25 years and I'm happy to now realize how incredible it is. I ordered the Singapore Mei Fun which is my favorite Chinese/Singapore dish to eat. I always ask for it to be extra spicy which the chef delivered. It was extremely spicy. It hit the spot, but no where near a point that I couldn't enjoy it. The wonton soup was good too. I was happy about the amount of wontons that were in the soup. The restaurant was not stingy on the wontons. The owner offered me the combo meal which comes with an eggroll and cheese Rangoon. there are multiple condiments like spicy mustard, sweet-and-sour sauce, and soy sauce. Plus, there is the signature fortune cookie. The service was quick. I would not eat at the restaurant because I believe after Covid many people don't come to sit and eat. There is a section for people to sit and eat, but the restaurant in the middle does not have any seating. All of the seating is on the outer rim by the windows, which is nice because of the view of the rest of the shops in the shopping mall. The owner is super cool and he gave me a little history of his Swarovski crystal collection. There's a mini pond inside that you can make wishes with your change and a really cool fish tank with an eclectic array of fish. Have gotten dinner here on several occasions and it was a very good experience. The food was very flavorful and done right! I have tried several different shrimp dishes and all were first rate. My wife usually gets chicken and was very happy with the dishes she tried. The quantity is great too! Enough for a dinner and lunch the next day. The complete dinners with egg roll, crab rangoon, and soup are a good value. We found our "go-to" Chinese restaurant in Aurora. My girlfriend suggested this place and I knew nothing about it. Ordered the dinner special for each of us. We must have seen an old menu cause it said $17.95 per person. I went in and picked up and got $54 bill. I looked at the menu they had and didn't see the dinner special listed. Aside from the bill, I went in and it looks like they had done in but moved to carry out/ delivery only. The place smelled like a sewage leak, which didn't help. Got the food and went home, I got the sesame chicken and my girlfriend got the Szechuan chicken. It comes with fried rice and apps. Sesame chicken was okay, but nothing great. That being said I'm vegetarian and just get a fried rice and some spring rolls. Lots of other reviews are happy, raving, or downright disgusted. Seems the chicken or seafood protein options can be lacking at times. I've also never come here for dine in service but phoned in my order. Many phone orders with quick and accurate pickup, a fair price, and polite and friendly service. Always quoted ten to fifteen minutes for my order and it's sitting and waiting right as the counter waiting for payment. Great to be so reliable in lunch when you are pressed for time. The indoor seating looks spacious though. Various seating options from solo dining to two and up to eight people per party. Nice lighting, a fish tank, water features, and the classic Buddha statue. Fancy Aurora! Menu wise you'll find the usual offerings such as fried rice, lo mein, egg foo young, appetizers, and soups. All for fair prices and large plated portions. To go wise everything is always packed neatly with napkins, condiments, cutlery, safe and securely. This was my order of the teriyaki chicken dinner. The chicken tasted like SALTY dried up tough, chewy chicken. - all brown and red looking. They said it was "chicken." Overall it was pretty decent, but I can't say that I'd make that drive for it. I have been going here for over 20 years. It's my family's most-favorite Chinese Restaurant...EVER! The food is always good, and the prices more-than-reasonable. I started going here when my daughters were small toddlers. We still love to go there! We are all creatures of habit and order our favorites every time. Mine is the Sesame Chicken. Years ago I dined here and remember how I loved the decoration and the purple painted walls. The owner's wife is a big fan of Swarovski, its crystals nicely displayed in a huge glass case. She is a very friendly woman and warms up to you in no time, she likes to chat while giving great service! This past time we came here for a dinner party presented in a five course meal. The soup was Minced Beef with Egg Whites and you don't see that on the regular menu, guess it's only for special occasions! It was OK, I've had better somewhere else, it's a tricky soup to make authentically anyway. The second course was appetizers which included Cheese Wonton and Pot Stickers, with sweet and sour and dumpling dipping sauces, respetively. Both items were very fresh and hot, the taste was standard. The main course included my favorite of Golden Wok's best dish - Sizzling Short Rib Platter. You can smell it from the kitchen and the flavor is incredible, a must try if you visit this restaurant! We also had Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Chinese Broccoli, and Shrimp Two-Ways. I find Golden Wok makes great sauces and as a result, you can easily down a couple bowls of rices. Service was very attentive. Our water glasses always full, dirty plates constantly get switched out. Guy was rude my friend told the guy he didn't like the Kung Pow shrimp and the guy was very rude about it my friend just wanted to change to a different entree this is our first time here and the last time. Got to another restaurant. However it looks nice in the place but it's empty probably because the people who don't use yelp stopped coming and they didn't write reviews because they don't have yelp. We ordered tonight. They do not offer any "freebies" for spending a certain amount, like some Chinese restaurants order. We had the sesame chicken, the steamed mixed veggies with shrimp, and the combo lo mein. All in all very decent. The chicken was my favorite - the sauce was great and the chicken was not overly breaded or greasy. The Lo Mein was average but there was a good amount of meat and seafood in it and it was not greasy. The steamed shrimp with mixed veggies was good also and seemed fresh, and there was a good amount of shrimp. read more

Came here to have dinner with a friend. At first to celebrate it looks like a small space. Once inside it is very beautiful space and even classic and could even be considered romantic. We ordered the dinner for two which comes with an entree per adult and a poo poo platter and a soup each. It was really a lot of food. They bring it out in sections so it is really a 3 course meal. There were times we were waiting quite a bit for our next course because there was only 1 person waiting tables. The food was delicious, the service was great and the price was right on! I look forward to my next Colorado visit so I can go back again and try something else. read more

Ken is a brilliant owner who runs an impressive, tight ship. I saw corrals, dimming lights and overall lots of crystal palace themed decor which blew me off a great storm. He was an amazing attendee and I felt obligated to return and give it another chance. We saw a menu with potential and understood why the average person might feel 50/50. We started off with the soup for 2! Appetizers: Hot & Sour Soup was very sweet and stuck with me. I loved the Wonton Soup, it had a pint of veggies, but not too heavy. I enjoyed the daring beef strings and the wontons itself. We originally wanted the PoPo Platter as our appetizer (Wings, Wontons, Eggrolls, Beef Stick with pineapples and cherries) but Ken recommended the "Family Dinner," which actually already included the PoPo Platter, the soups, an entree of chicken, beef or pork; with steamed or white rice! I stuck with Sesame Chicken while the other party selected Shrimp with Garlic. Mine had plenty of lettuce and lots of sweet chicken that actually tasted overall like pineapple instead of sesame. The Shrimp with Garlic was actually really good! The PoPo Platter was not so impressive. The beef stock tasted foul and I ended up not continuing with it. I didn't want to go further with the ribs, but the wontons were delicious, the fried shrimp was crunchy and the egg rolls were not greasy. The restaurant did not acquire a dessert menu, which left us feeling left out. That ended a good night. Food? Not so impressive . Service? We use to frequent this restauant 3 to 5 times a month when we lived nearby. Now we moved back to the hood and here I am. One thing I did notice was this place was updated. It was clean, tacky lights and salt water fish tank to admire while waiting for your food. As soon as i walked in, thing that turned me off was the smell. Found some almond cookies and also fortune cookies. However, food was quite bland. Any of the item with chilli pepper wasnt spicy at all. Szechun beef (shredded vegi and beef with specks of hot pepper) was so so. Tofu family style wasnt appetizing. Fried tofu seemed not so fresh. Hot and sour soup (no pork) was very sweet which I didnt like it at all. Prawns with garlic sauce was also disappointing. Overall, it wasnt spicy.... it wasnt flavorful, just plain boring. My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years! In my opinion, the best Chinese cuisine anywhere! Especially like to come in for the lunch specials. The fried rice is always tender and delicious! The entire's are phenomenal! We have come to know the owners and staff over the years. They know what we all individually like. We visited this restaurant on Christmas Eve. It wasn't a place that we had planned on dining at. It just happened to be on our way home. Although we wanted to dine-in we weren't able to due to covid. So, we placed an order for take-out. Our order was made in the exact amount of time that it was promised, the staff was very professional and quite friendly. The food was absolutely great! As soon as we cracked the door, we were shocked by the atmosphere. Soothing purple, lights, music, laughter, everything. However, it didn't stop there! Next we were greeted by Ken.
